MISSION STATEMENT

We are dedicated to the health and well-being of Sayulita by facilitating programs which inform the community about animal welfare and provide assistance for cats and dogs.  Read more about Sayulitanimal's programs in the article: A Better Life For Sayulita

Our goals include:

  • Reduce overpopulation of cats and dogs through our Free Spay and Neuter program.
  • Find loving homes for abandoned animals through our Adoption and Foster Assistance program.
  • Educate people about animal care and welfare through our Community Education program.
  • Provide medical aid to homeless animals in need through our Medical Aid for Street Animals program.

Sayulitanimals loves visitors. Come down and see us. Our office is located on Calle Manuel Plascencia, the first right off of Revolution after Lalo’s Ferretería. You will have a selection of donated products, t-shirts, bags, blankets, digital photo tours of Sayulita, and more, to take home with you for minimum donations. You can read stories of local dogs and cats who have overcome their street lives to find health and happiness all over the world. You will find literature about all of our programs and how you can use our services and find ways you can help too. We look forward to meeting you.

To use our Free Spay and Neuter program, give us a call and make an appointment! We offer this service every Tuesday and Thursday.

Do you want a new family member? Check out the adoption list on our webpage. We have unending numbers of cats and a constant influx of new dogs. It is our mission to find them loving homes and stop the needless suffering of street life.

If you’ve found an injured cat or dog, bring them in to our office, and we will provide medical treatment through our partner vets. We are unable to keep animals overnight, so please be prepared to care for the animal during treatment or find someone who can help too.

We rely on the help of the community to facilitate our programs. Whether you live here or are just visiting, you can help change a life. By offering your home as a temporary foster for abandoned or injured animals, trapping feral cats for neutering, volunteering for community events and fundraisers, or simply making donations, you will help save lives that are unable to save themselves.

Without your contributions we are limited in the ways we can help the animals as well as our beautiful town. If you want to share a clean, animal friendly Sayulita, please visit our web page and donate. Thank you.
