Encantadora at Los Almendros in Sayulita, Mexico is a charming and fully equipped vacation rental, part of the fabulous Los Almendros complex. Only minutes from the beach, it is an easy, level 10-minute stroll to the vibrant heart of the village with wonderful restaurants, shops and boutiques.
This elegant complex features 26 private condos in five three-storey buildings clustered around Sayulita's most beautiful heated pool. Encantadora offers a real taste of Mexico with bright colours, custom artwork and the best in Mexican finish and design. Child-friendly, comfortable and practical, Encantadora is situated on the first floor of the building nearest the ocean and is a one-stop elevator ride up from the complex's only garage -- ideal for luggage and groceries!
Encantadora has two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and a twin, and an attractive balcony with a BBQ, the perfect place to catch the morning sun. The second bedroom has two twins; the twins can be turned into another king-size. Recently added is a folding pack 'n play crib. Both bedrooms have ample closet space, lots of drawers, and their own attractive full bathrooms with double basins.
The kitchen is fully equipped with purified water, fridge, gas stove, microwave, blender, coffee-maker, toaster, electric kettle, all kitchen utensils and washer and dryer. Everything you could want for your stay. Both bedrooms are air-conditioned and there are ceiling fans throughout.
The spacious living-dining area features two sofas, two armchairs, coffee tables and dining room table with six chairs. There's an iPod docking station, DVD player, satellite TV, and private wireless Internet connection. The front balcony, with a palapa fringe and view of the pool, is furnished with traditional Mexican equipale loveseat, table and chairs -- ideal for relaxing any time of day but especially on those warm, starlit Mexican evenings.
At the centre of the Los Almendros complex is the crown jewel -- one of the most beautiful pool areas you can imagine. The remarkable pool, recently enhanced further by the installation of a heater/cooler system, has been designed to accommodate all needs and ages and includes a jacuzzi-type section as well as two areas for small children. Surrounded by comfortable lounge chairs, the area also features a shady palapa section and barbecue.
The office staff is available throughout the day, and there is a security guard on duty all night. The condo provides a safe for valuables, and maid service is available except on Sunday and some holidays.

Sayulita has been called "the gem of Mexico's Pacific coast" and is a delightful place to visit -- ideal for all ages and interests. A designated eco area, and pueblo magico, the village is easy on the eye and the atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and fun.
Just a 40-minute drive north of Puerto Vallarta and the international airport, there is no shortage of activities for the family, including surfing, basking on sandy beaches, golfing, hiking, biking, a jungle canopy adventure, sailing, fishing and more. Whether you're a couple, a family or a group of friends, it is hard to imagine a better place to visit and spend time in the sun.

Jane's place 'Encandadora' has a great layout with the open kitchen/living room with smart TV for Netflix, etc and the big accordion doors that open up the balcony make it seem like an even bigger open-air space. Bedrooms are large as are the bathrooms. A/C in the bedrooms both worked great and with the multiple ceiling fans it keeps the whole place comfortable.
Was great having a washer/dryer in the unit as well as plenty of pots, pans, dishes and cooking utensils.
Then there's the big, warm, amazing swimming pool...which we were in for several hours at a time each day (literally). the pool was super warm (a lot of places don't have heated pools) so this was key as our son has recently learned how to swim so the areas with different depths were perfect for him to practice in (in the 2' depth area he even learned how to come up for breaths while swimming, something he'd never done before:)
Jane was great with the recommendations...Chaman Creative Kitchen is a very cool restaurant just down the road and to the right from the condo. An open-air restaurant with delicious food and specialty cocktails.

Booking and dealing directly with the owner Jane was a breeze, as she was extremely helpful and considerate which gave you that extra bit of confidence in renting from them versus other properties.
Once you arrive at the condo, what you see from the images is exactly what you get. The condo is impeccably clean, bright and modern with all the amenities that you could ask for. The main balcony is accessed from folding glass French doors that look out to the pool, and this is where we gathered most nights to play games and wind down from a busy day in Sayulita.
The pool area is nicely situated to enjoy the sun or shade and is perfect for any age as there are a couple of shallow spots for toddlers, to a large area that will keep kids of all ages busy for hours.
The condominium complex itself is very safe, secure and the staff makes every effort to ensure your stay is enjoyable. There is a 24 hour guard on the property and he does rounds at night which gives you that extra peace of mind.
The location is a true 4-5 minute walk to the beach so there is no need to rent a vehicle once there as you can walk to town in less than 15 minutes as we did this every night for supper.
Next time we go to Sayulita, I would not even consider any other condo except for the Encantadora.
