Marjory Martini, is a hair stylist/makeup artist from Whistler, Canada, who specializes in Summer weddings in Whistler and Tropical weddings in Sayulita in the winter. She has specialized in ensuite wedding hair and makeup for over 16 years. Marjory has helped over 1000 brides look fabulous on their wedding day. Her goal is create a look that is natural and comfortable for the bride but adds just the right amount of elegance and polish. She provides all the services ensuite for the ease and comfort of the bride and bridal party, ensuring that the preparation process is stress free and fun. Marjory’s brides have been quoted in saying that “I have never felt or looked as good as I did after Marjory did my hair and makeup for my wedding.”
The Consultation
The purpose of the one hour consultation is to create the plan for the perfect wedding day. At the consultation we will discuss the specifics of the day, the bride’s personality and likes and dislikes, dress and accessories and what the bride’s ideal look is. Upon leaving the bride will be given a list and timeline of all the necessary things she will need to do and bring with her prior to the wedding. The consultation is designed so that the stress of the preparation process is removed and any concerns of the bride’s appearance are dissolved.
Trial Runs: they are only recommend trials for brides that are unsure of whether they want their hair up or down on the day of the wedding. A trial is the option of the bride if she is unsure of her look after the consultation. Trials should be done with in 4 weeks of the wedding. (Please note that trials are an additional fee)

Bridal Package $150.00 and up
This includes ensuite hair and/or makeup services plus a full one hour consultation and/or trial run. Plus, dressing assistance and final touch up as well as the option of a change over in between ceremony and reception. This package can also include hair on your flower girls under age of 7yrs.
Bridesmaid Package $100 and up
This includes ensuite hair and/or makeup services plus a personalized consultation on the day of the wedding.
Mothers Package $75 and up
This includes ensuite hair and/or makeup services plus a personalized consultation on the day of the wedding.

10% discount is offered on groups booking 5 packages or more
15% gratuity will be added on groups of 3 or more
Late fees will apply: they are calculated at $25 for every 15mins that the bride and/or group is

Marjie has been doing my hair for over a year now, and it is the best it has ever looked! She is really great with color, and she stays on top of me to maintain it. I have never had such consistent service! I highly recommend Funky Diva for all your hair needs in Sayulita!

From our initial discussion, I knew Marjie knew what she was doing, but I'll be honest when she finished my trial run I was very impressed. Whenever there is a special occasion where I really want to look great I always go to Marjie and she does my make up and hair. I rarely wear makeup and my worry is that I will look too 'made up' but Marjie is very talented and super intuitive and I'm always amazed at how good I look (ahem). Whenever Marjie styles my hair I always get compliments, too...whether she puts it up or leaves it down in big, loose beachy curls... If you have a special dinner or a party to go to why not let Marjie work her magic - really treat yourself!

I was recently married in San Pancho (April 28th, 2012) and like every bride I wanted to look incredible on my big day. I also wanted to look like me - the very best version of me :) Marjie is a professional in every way - she asks questions, offers up suggestions and most importantly she listens intently to what you want and what you are comfortable with. I appreciated that she is a perfect blend of down to earth and easy going, while at the same time detail oriented, prompt and very responsive through all of our communication. But most of all when it came time to walk down the aisle, I felt beautiful and all of the pictures and conversations were expertly captured in my hair and make-up. Without any hesitation, I highly recommend Marjie's services to any bride and wedding party wanting to look and feel incredible on their wedding day!

Marjie did hair and makeup for my wedding in Sayulita, as well as for the rehearsal dinner. The entire wedding party looked great all day despite the intense heat and humidity. Marjie really knows what products to use in this type of environment to make your look last. She also has a very calming presence and will make you feel relaxed and pampered on your big day. Marjie arrived and had everyone ready on time. She is a very fun spirit and we were very happy to spend time with her and have her as part of the day. You will be very glad to have Marjie should you hire her for your event.

If your nervous about who can possibly do your hair and make-up on your wedding day in Mexico, don't be. Marjie has you covered!! She did hair and make-up for me, my bridesmaids, and our Mothers and everyone looked beautiful. Marjie has many years of experience and was extremely helpful in helping me to create the perfect look for my wedding. She is also very professional and easy to communicate with. She responds to emails quickly and even sent out a list of very helpful beauty reminders the week before my wedding. I highly recommend hiring Marjie for your wedding day.
