The entire casa reflects the unique style, flair and color of old Mexico.  Enjoy the textiles, smooth leather & plush woven Oaxacan cushions.  Stylized handmade woodwork and furniture have been selected from artisans in Tonala.  Appreciation for the traditional cultural, religious and folk arts are interwoven to render subtle patterns.  The color of sand, cinnamon, ginger, vanilla & adobe hues caress the walls while outside waving palms reflect in the mirror of the pool and follow the intricate patterns born by the pool fountain.

Swing open the doors on the main living area to enjoy a towering poolside garden palapa whose woven palms offer protection from the elements, yet embrace you in the harmony of nature. The hanging lamps mimic starlight on moonless nights & impart ambience for outside dining, games and relaxation. Separated by a few stairs in this multi-leveled casa is the cocina poblana (Puebla style kitchen) decorated with handmade Talavera tiles, hand hammered copper sinks and high end stainless steel appliances. Serve your family and friends sumptuous feasts in the large yet intimate inside dining room while shards of sunset peak through the cantera stone mission window.  An elegantly designed powder room is nearby.

Up the winding tiled staircase encounter 3 spacious bedrooms, all with AIR CONDITIONING, 400 count linens, pillow top mattresses, plump pillows and 100% Egyptian cotton towels. Terraces capture ocean views, aroma, lush breeze and sounds of the surf.  The master king suite and bath have gracefullly arched windows and doors that lead your eyes and senses down the beach path to the pounding surf. A lovely queen bedroom offers an immense arched door leading to a terrace kissed by the sun that overlooks the tropical garden, the distant pueblo and slices of ocean through the palms, Monkey Mountain & the reflective pool.  A handmade wooden ladder leads to a cozy loft that sleeps an additional person if desired.

The large third bedroom encloses two twin beds (king upon request) and is enhanced by views Punta Sayulita sparking through distant palms and the jungle, mountains, garden path and the sound of the splashing waters of the pool fountain. The queen and twin bedrooms share a terrace ~ if desired ~ and a large and exquisitely designed Talavera bath ~ all rooms are private and separate.  Ceiling fans with silent wings ventilate the mosquito netted beds while the rhythm of the ocean lulls you to a restful sleep.  

Continue up the winding stair tower to the 3rd level ocean view garden where the ambience of the nearby pueblo and aroma of saltwater commingle while you meander up the "samba" stairs to the 4th level "crows nest" palapa and "crows perch" sunning deck and are rewarded with 360 degree views of sea, mountains and jungle, pelicans soaring, whales breaching ~ the romance of twinkling stars & moon glow at night.

Nourish yourself with the pleasure and color of the garden with its paths and random offerings of cactus, frangipani, palms & exotic flowers, where rocks and boulders are silent witnesses to times past. Surround yourself with peaceful beauty while enclosed in the refreshing poolside shower. Whether caressed by a hammock, sunning in one of the many chaise lounges or reading in submerged pool beds, the tranquility of the space will sooth your senses as it summons hummingbirds & butterflies to partake of its refreshment.
