Imagine a gentle breeze the perfect temperature, and add the sound of waves from the nearby beach as you sway in a hammock under our traditional palm palapa. Maybe you are enjoying an ice cold beer or a freshly blended margarita in your dream afternoon in the tropics? Totally do-able with our fully equipped kitchen steps away. Enjoy sun-tanning or playing with the kids by either of our two pristine pools or better yet walk a few yards down to the sand and surf in front of the private beachfront complex with the beach chairs and umbrellas provided. A day at the beach is incredibly easy from Margaritaville. Less than a minutes walk away from the quiet north side beach, this location makes coming to and from the beach a snap for getting refreshments or taking a quick break mid-day to escape the heat. The tiresome chore of packing up is minimized as our house is closer to the ocean than you would park by the main surf break. No sweaty uphill trudging with beach paraphernalia required. Nothing compares to a Los Delfines beach location for a beach holiday!
Margaritaville is a 3 bedroom/3 bathroom home nestled in the Los Delfines beachfront complex under palm trees, with new private gardens and between 2 pristine pools. The views are of the pools from the front and back of the house or the enclosed private courtyard with a palapa and lounge area to enjoy as well as a built in BBQ.
Our favorite spot to relax is actually outside under the palapa in the courtyard. The outdoor dining and lounge area can be enjoyed morning until night. There is ample seating around a large round table that is perfect for eating ,playing games or just lounging and reading. Try the hammock for an indulgent afternoon siesta. Everyone can keep the cook company when they are at the grill. A fan and lights in the palapa allow for socializing well into the evening. New garden plantings were designed for scent , color and for hummingbirds to visit.
Margaritaville is just seconds from the north beach area or a quick 8 minute flat walk down to the plaza and main surf break. It is a wonderfully quiet location during the day when you will hear the surf break and at night when you will hear crickets. None of the late-night noise of the town disturbs us in the complex.

Security I do my best to provide accurate information on the website, but the confirmation quote from me will be the correct pricing, thanks for understanding. Nightly rates range from US dollars $395/night to US dollars $795/night depending on time of year, holiday rates, and other factors. 4 night minimum stay unless it fills a space between rentals. There is a discount for weekly rentals.
October to June Rate: US$2600/week to US$4500/week, depending on the time of year or whether it is a holiday week. Most weeks during this time frame are $3500 to $3650/week. Ask for a quote for your dates
Low Season Summer Rates July through September US$2275/week

It was most convenient to town, turtles, and our favorite Bar Miremar!
There needed to be better communication about the sewage crisis this town is currently experiencing. There was no warning about how bad it has gotten and how sick people are getting. You can expect some illness when travelling abroad but the scale of illness in this little town points to an epidemic. 6 of the 7 people in our group were very sick and 80% of the people we spoke to in this complex and around town experienced the same . I know that a sewage outfall pipe is being constructed but people need to be informed that in the meantime they should swim at other beaches. If the town won’t post public warnings on the beach it should fall on the property owners and managers.
We love this charming town but won’t return until there is proper infrastructure to supports its sewage issues.
Thank you for your review. We are glad our house met your expectations although your vacation did not. We have travelled with our 3 children extensively and know first hand how much more difficult it is to be sick while traveling, and have sick children when you are far from home.
JUNE UPDATE: We are happy to say that the improvements to the sewage treatment plant are completed and the plant is operational. According to locals the ocean is clean and clear and wonderful to surf and swim in again. As stated in the review, a certain amount of sickness can be expected with travel. It was not until the end of March that locals in town became aware of the higher than normal numbers of visitors becoming ill. When that became obvious, we did inform our April guests and suggested we would cancel/ refund their upcoming reservations. We deep cleaned the house and Sayulita pulled together for a massive clean up campaign that included help and information to restaurants and downtown businesses and even street cleaning in the hopes of eradicating this illness as quickly as possible. There have been posts that it was norovirus, rotavirus and/or the sewage treatment plant as the cause. Regardless of the cause of whatever illness went through Sayulita this spring, it is gone now. Property managers, taxi drivers etc have been hearing that guests and visitors to the area have been healthy and happy in Sayulita.
We were in Sayulita in mid May for a week, and enjoyed the beach, restaurants and shopping around. The town was a little quieter than usual but was still quite busy with people enjoying all that Sayulita has to offer. Our experience was a wonderfully relaxing week. We hope you will visit again in the future.
The rooms were spacious and clean with washrooms adjoining all 3 rooms. The indoor common area is lovely and huge with comfy couches. The private 'palapalapa' area with the hammock was an awesome place to have morning coffee while listening to the birds sing, as well as for pre-dinner cocktails. A two minute walk took us to some delicious restaurants, a 5 min walk to a great used book store, and a 10 minute walk to the best bakery with the most amazing chocolate croissants ever!
Margaritaville was also perfect for my older parents who had both recently had surgery as there are no stairs to navigate.
We would absolutely stay in Margaritaville again.
