Villa Buena Vista Estate

Villa Buena Vista Estate in Sayulita is a luxury 4 bedroom home on the exclusive North Side of town. The villa is high enough to provide panoramic views of the ocean and surf break yet still be only a 5 minute walk to a lovely quiet beach and a 10-15 minute stroll to the village. A blend of world-class contemporary design and hacienda style openness, the complex consists of a large villa with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths + 2 half baths, and a 1 bedroom casita on two levels with 1 full bath. An extensive ethnic and modern art collection is elegantly displayed throughout the house. The interior design is pure, understated elegance, accented by parota wood cabinets and furnishings. With amazing views from every room, the name Villa Buena Vista says it all.

VILLA - COURTYARD

Our lush, tropical courtyard is a private retreat that perfectly sets the tone for the rest of the villa. Connected to the home by two generous sliding doors, it is the definition of indoor/outdoor living, affording views all the way through the house to the ocean. Al fresco dining has never been so easy, as the hi-end, built-in barbeque is just steps from the kitchen, accompanied by an elegant dining set complete with umbrella. Enjoy your outdoor meals in quiet seclusion, or while away the days sunbathing or reading. There is also a handy entrance to the upper level of the casita for those families and groups who are occupying the entire complex.

VILLA - LIVING AREA

You enter the home from the courtyard into our unique, air-conditioned, gourmet kitchen and family room. This area can be left open to enjoy the ocean breezes or completely closed off and air-conditioned. The kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, a dishwasher and naturally finished cement counters. Enjoy purified ice and water as we have a state of the art water purification system throughout the complex. We also provide all the necessary small appliances, utensils, spices and condiments for those special, home-cooked meals you will enjoy in this lovely setting. The family room has a cozy wraparound sofa with a flat screen, satellite t.v. and blue ray disc player; an extensive collections of movies--including many classics--and an elegant art wall. Down three steps is the spacious dining room with still more spectacular views. The large custom table seats up to 10 and overlooks a ornamental fireplace, done in the Moroccan style. Twin 3-step staircases lead down to our fabulous palapa, with those ever-inspiring views and a u-shaped sofa that also seats up to 10.

VILLA - BEDROOM SUITES

From either side of the palapa, spiral staircases lead down to the pool and bedroom level of the villa. Villa Buena Vista has two air-conditioned, spacious master suites with king size beds, small private terraces, ocean views and direct pool access. Beds have "pillow top" mattresses and top quality linens. The suites are mirror opposites except for art and have the feeling of a five star resort. Bathrooms are spacious and elegant with tumbled marble counters and glass-enclosed showers. The third bedroom, a converted den, on this level is entered through a generous gallery hall. This ocean view, air-conditioned bedroom also has a half-bath and closet as well as a wet bar with a small fridge. The large couch is a trundle bed which opens to form two twins and also serves as a comfortable lounging area during the day. Have your morning coffee by the pool while checking out the surf break, or enjoy cool drinks after an afternoon swim in the spectacular pool.

VILLA - POOL AREA

Spanning the width of the villa the infinity pool is six feet deep, with a lounging shelf and shallow play area next to the jacuzzi. The digital saltwater filtration system keeps water sparkling and pure, without that chlorine odor and irritation. The pool sits above a small cliff, giving it a true infinity effect. Right off the bedrooms there is an additional shaded pool deck that has a small dining table with chairs and matching chaise lounges. Our favorite thing is to end each night with a hot*, delicious soak before slipping into the pool for a relaxing swim. Afterwards, we settle into poolside chaises and doze off while stargazing and listening to the rhythm of the surf.

CASITA

The casita may be entered through the Villa's courtyard. The upper level consists of a full kitchen/living room area and private terrace with cafe table and chairs and spectacular ocean views. The wraparound sofa is twin-bed width, with memory foam cushions. (The casita sofas can be made up as beds for 2 additional guests). The room also features a flat screen, satellite t.v. with dvd player, and is filled with elegant art and artifacts, very much like the villa. A discreet turret stair leads down to the air conditioned, en-suite bedroom. The king mattress is the same "pillow" type found in the villa; upon opening your eyes in the morning the first thing you see is the ocean and Sayulita Point. There is a spacious bathroom, along with a second sunny terrace. The casita is a perfect romantic getaway for two but will work just as well for a small family. Please note the casita is not rented separately from the main villa.

You will be met at a the house by your host, who will  give you a personal tour and demonstration of the home’s features. Maid service 3 times per week (every other day); HI-SPEED WI-FI; AC in all bedrooms PLUS kitchen/family room; fans; BABY EQUIPMENT includes: Pak ‘n Play crib, highchair and baby bath on request; kiddie security gates on stairs; 3 x king size beds w/pillow top mattresses; hi-quality linens and towels.

*Jacuzzi is only heated in the evenings 5pm to 12am.
*The villa is approximately 4 blocks above the beach, located on a steep hill. 
*No pool floaties. Due to the infinity feature and extremely high droppoff, we do not allow floats in the pool, for your safety.
