Reservations canceled more than 60 days prior to arrival are eligible for a full refund, less any applicable administration or transfer fees.

For cancellations made within 30 days of arrival, payments are generally non-refundable. However, if we are able to re-rent some or all of the canceled dates, we will refund the corresponding amount for those nights, less any applicable administration or transfer fees.

As an alternative to a refund, we are happy to offer you a voucher for the full value of the reservation, valid for one year from the original arrival date.

The Space

Paraíso at Amare Las Villas occupies the garden level of the property, where a wall of sliding glass doors opens directly onto a large outdoor patio with views of the tropical foliage and the pool beyond. The first bedroom features a king-size bed and a built-in workspace. The second bedroom offers a queen-size bed with a beautiful antique headboard. Both rooms share a well-appointed bathroom conveniently located between them. The open-concept living area brings together a full kitchen, a generous dining space anchored by a handcrafted parota wood table with benches, and a comfortable sectional sofa that looks out onto the garden — making it easy to feel connected to the outdoors even from inside.

The infinity-edge pool features a shallow lounge area and a cascading waterfall that makes you feel completely surrounded by nature — your own jungle retreat, minutes from the beach and town center. This home is ideal for up to 4 guests.

Great spot, great stay!

Great stay!

Casa Duende is perfect for families with slightly older kiddos- one bedroom is downstairs, while the other two are up. We ended up not using the upstairs rooms for sleeping because my six year old would have been alone at night. But if you have a larger group/multiple couples, I know it would be perfect! It sits within 10 minutes walking to the beach, and there's a coffee shop just up the street that opens at 7 and has great, healthy breakfast and lunch options and a little co-working space. Overall it is pretty quiet and peaceful.

Lovely Place and location

We loved our stay at Casa Duende. The setup worked well for two small families and we had an extra room even. The king bed downstairs and the whole setup was really nice for having a toddler. The location could not have been more perfect!! We ended up there during Sayulita Days (who knew!) which is a big party but we didn't have any noise issues and we were super close to a wonderful breakfast spot, Yah Yah Cafe, and walking distance to the plaza and beach. We didn't utilize the kitchen like we wanted to, but the setup was wonderful for making nice meals and enjoying outside (minus the cat that wandered around). We'll definitely be going back!!

I love Casa Duende!

First time staying in Sayulita. Definitely won’t be my last! I can’t wait to return. The town is so wonderful. The people are so friendly. Casa Duende is a 5 minute walk from the beach,restaurants and shops. Their location is great. Renting from Joe and Carolyn was so easy and convenient. They are pros! Any questions, they were very knowledgeable. You will not be disappointed. The pictures don’t do justices. You have to check this place out!

Beautiful Place To Stay!

We loved that we had complete privacy behind the large beautiful garden without being far from town. The location is perfect with it being minutes away from all shops, restaurants, bars and the beach. Will definitely be returning to Casa Duende!

Beautiful gardens, beautiful home.

This is the second time we have been to Casa Duende and we just love it. It's perfect location in proximity to town, and to the beach is perfect. The property managers were very helpful in arranging our transportation to and from the airport and anything we needed. The house keepers were friendly and did an amazing job. Getting up in the morning and being able to sit out on the patio in the beautiful gardens is so peaceful. It is the perfect spot to come back to after spending the day at the beach and unwind with a glass of wine or a margarita and do a bbq. It's a great place for any couple, family or group of friends as each of the rooms have their own bathroom, so you have your own space.
