Excellent Food, Great Service, Friendly Owners
We ate at Tierra Viva last night. The food was fabulous and the service first rate. Very friendly staff made recommendations -- tuna and lobster were both perfect. We sat outside on a lovely patio overlooking the small street and a guitar duo came by the serenade and take requests. We will return. Highly recommended.

Steak arracherra and chicken mole both excellent. Good value, nice ambience, lovely service.

Excellent menu and fresh salads!
The food and the service at Tierra Viva are both excellent. There were several choices for salad and the portions were generous. It is a great place to go for lunch or dinner. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend it.

We came from San Pancho
My husband Alan, and I, stay in San Pancho and we heard about Tierra Viva from a great recommondation from a good friend of ours. Our waiter, Daniel, told us that he was the new owner of Tierra Viva and that he had done a lot of work on the building and had built the new bar all this spring before they opened for the season. The bar looks out onto the road and we enjoyed watching all the unusual things that you see on the roads of Mexico. Our dinner table was situated in the open air but had a white linen ceiling and a large mango tree towering above us. I had the Tierra Viva Flank steak and it was so tender I was cutting it with my fork. Alan had the garlic Mahi Mahi which Daniel had gotten that morning from a fisherman on the beach just one block away. It can't get any fresher than that. The background music they played was soft latin and blues. The combo was magical. Daniel must of liked us because he served us a complimentary House Flan for dessert. The atmosphere, the food, the location and great service I don't think you can beat anywhere.
