My approach is centred around creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, capturing the best candid moments. While I excel in capturing candid shots, I am also very good at posing individuals, ensuring to show off your best features. I provide a comprehensive package that includes all the best images from your session. These images are edited and made available for download in a secure, password-protected gallery within a week. My passion for photography is evident in my work.

My Husband and I have worked with Danielle for our engagement, wedding, maternity and newborn baby photos. Danielle has been a major part of our milestone moments and we could not be happier with her work! Danielle is fun and makes you very comfortable - this results in all shoots being enjoyable and she gets such amazing candid photos. I am always excited to recieve the photos from her and she never disappoints! During our wedding Danielle was great at getting everyone together for photos - she was there when you needed her and invisible when you didn't all while capturing special moments on film. Danielle will be our preferred photographer for any future shoots she is awesome!!!!! Highly recommend - we love her!

Above and Beyond

Working with Danielle for our Wedding was a dream. She took the time to get to know exactly the style of wedding photos we were looking for, and she delivered exactly that. Danielle had fun ideas for different staged photos, and also got lots of amazing candid pictures of everyone having fun. Danielle was on time and fun to work with, she had our 'sneak peek' photos to us 2 days after the wedding, which meant we were able to use them on our thank you cards. As for the rest of the photos it only took about 8 weeks to get, from what I've heard a lot of people wait 3-4 months for wedding photos so we happy to have them so fast! Danielle went above and beyond for us, I would definitely recommend her to anyone!

I was born in Kitchener, Ontario, but my upbringing took place in Miami Beach in the late 80’s early 90’s. During my twenties, I travelled by working for hotels in Bermuda and St. Maarten. However, my path eventually led me back to Toronto, where I made the decision to further my photography education at Ryerson University and Seneca College. The arrival of our two beautiful daughters marked a significant turning point in our lives. My husband and I felt inspired to embrace a new chapter filled with boundless experiences and a mindset focused on living life to the fullest. It was during this transformative period that the name for my photography business, Free Spirit, was born. It encapsulates the essence of our journey—a dedication to openness, the pursuit of passion, and a commitment to embracing inner freedom. Moving to Mexico became our next grand adventure. With our two children, a cat, and a dog in tow, we embarked on a life-changing relocation. It was a bold step, symbolizing our desire to immerse ourselves in a world of endless possibilities.
