Casita 3 was fantastic!

We stayed at Casita 3 recently and really enjoyed it. The view is great, looking right down on the beach and over the town. The bed was large and comfortable. Access to the beach and the town was easy with one private trail leading right to the beach and a public trail leading right in to town, passing under the Iguana Tree on the way. If you walk the road down, it drops you right in the town square. There is also the recently built swimming pool which is great if you want to get away from the beach crowds.

What an amazing experience!

Me and two girlfriends had the opportunity to stay at casa Sofia in September, after receiving an upgrade from Aaron since Higuera was closed for maintenance. Aaron was so great, we had more than a few questions and concerns before leaving for Mexico and he was very accommodating and helpful thoughout. Sofia was awesome, two big balconies, 3 bedrooms and two kitchens no less! We felt very safe at this location, and the safes in two of the rooms were convenient. We had a resident cat, Rubia I believe, that came by for food most days, but beware of playing with her she can get feisty! Unfortunately, we had wifi for only 2-3 out of the 10 day stay which as an online student wasn't ideal, but I will give the caretakers, Mating and Martha, credit since they did call the technician twice, the wifi would then work for a day or so and then would stop connecting. Wifi can always be obtained by going downtown and having coffee at choco banana or going to el espresso. I think that this is the best location one could want in Sayulita, 30 second walk to the beach and maybe 2 minutes to the downtown core. I'm already planning my next visit!!

Amazing view. Beautiful lodging.

This place was recommended by a friend and it exceeded our expectations. It is situated on the hillside in the trees with an amazing view of the bay. The layout is open and bright and grounds are lush and beautifully maintained. I can't wait to come back...

A showplace for authentic Mexican artistry!

This was my second stay in Sayulita. Both times I stayed in Casa Higuera and would return in a minute. Everywhere I looked around the place was beautiful - the trees, the colorful flowers, the ocean, the pool, the quality of authentic Mexican tile and stucco work. I would much rather stay in Casa Higuera instead of a modern looking geometric box that could be located anywhere. The Mexican people are gracious and I felt completely safe. Aaron and his staff have consistently offered their guests a vacation of beautiful memories.

This place was wonderful!!

Our family stayed in Casa Sophie. We enjoyed wonderful views from both levels. The entire estate is truly wonderful and gorgeous. The grounds are inviting & well groomed. We felt so relaxed in the Casa, we would buy to-go meals so we could eat at home. Before we left, my husband was already talking about "next time we come". Our Casa was beautiful & equipped with all essentials. The views cannot be outdone!! The town was very friendly and we enjoyed Sayulita very much. The kids took surf lesson, we rode a "Fun" boat and sat at the beach restaurants. Life is a BEACH!!

Greta vacation! Beautiful house with amazing ocean views.

Hi Aaron, I wanted to thank you for our staying at Casa Higuera. We all had a fantastic time in beautiful Sayulita! We felt at home, made friends and spent an amazing time at the beach. The girls loved Rubia who spent a great time at the house with us ( we have two cats) and was good at letting the girls know when she did not wanted attention. :) My husband and I had the chance to reconnect with nature and melt the stress away. We hope to visit again soon!

Incredible view of the bay, awesome pool, great casista with kitchen and incredible patio area

I stayed in Casita #3 in June 2014 and it was the best vacation ever! The unit is so charming and just enough space - large bathroom, comfortable bed, full kitchen and what a view from the patio. I was able to sit and watch the most amazing lightening storm I have ever seen light up the sky and ocean for over an hour late one evening. The staff was awesome, and it was fun to meet all the neighboring guests during what ended up being afternoon pool time! (But pool is open all day from 10-10). The location is phenomonal, just a short walk down the back of the hill and you are at the beach. An added perk was the exercise just up a short hill to get to the house from town, my butt thanks me for it! I am planning on returning in August, it really felt like home. Cant wait to get back!

Made a great choice!

We have been home a few weeks now to savor the super memories of our three-gen family and close friends at Casa Sofia and Casitas #1 and #6 at Casa Higuera in Sayulita. A veritable paradise--after luxuriating in the beauty of this place with amazing plant life, sweet walkways, brilliant mariposas, constant birdsong, color, fragrance...we scratched the Puerto Vallarta botanical gardens from our list of to-do's. The openness of the houses and balconies offers outdoor living in the best sense. The design is so aesthetically pleasing and comfortable both outside and in, and the collections of art and artesana add whimsy and life! We are grateful for the chance to stay at wonderful "Casa Higuera/Sofia." The location is the best of Sayulita--our grand kids could try out their surfing initiation, we could spend hours at Playa Los Muertos, no trouble getting someone to run for more yogurt or Pacfico down the beautiful zig-zag pathway to the tienditas. With Portland guest friends sprinkled around town from the north beach, to mid-town and up gringo hill, we saw lots of great options which convinced us that we had made a grand choice!
