Hi! Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
My name is Leon and I'm a 28-year-old photographer and videographer from Germany. Besides my passion for content creation, I love to spend my time at the beach and go for long runs to stay balanced and keep my creativity flowing. I can often be seen with my dog Eo, who I rescued from the streets here in Mexico, or at my favorite yoga studio in town.
How did you first land in Sayulita?
I visited Sayulita for the first time back in 2019 after I finished my apprenticeship back in Germany. My curiosity about the world and the excitement of experiencing something different from what I know brought me here. In 2021, I decided to move here full-time.
How did you get into photography?
I think this is such an interesting question for a photographer and I could elaborate on this, but today I want to keep it short and sweet:
My interest in photography has always been there, but when I arrived in Sayulita, it skyrocketed. There was and is so much beauty around us to capture. When I started my photography journey here in Sayulita, it was a tool for me to capture the magical moments that I experience on a daily basis. Today, I am lucky enough to still be capturing these moments and turning my passion for content creation into a sustainable business.
