Casa de Bauer

Casa de Bauer was a cute bungalow in the Casa Ipomea complex. There was a nice shared lap pool that was well maintained. The 2bedroom was clean, with a full bathroom in each room complete with amenities like pool towels, shower towels, beach blanket, hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner, soap
and sunscreen. There was a washer dryer available to use, which is helpful when you want to pack light! Melissa was a fantastic host, easy to communicate with, flexible and prompt. We really enjoyed our stay! The walk to town was about 10 minutes and the beach access was just down the road. The location is quiet and has a nice view, while still being accessible to town and the beach (especially if you don’t have a car or golf cart, which we did not have, but didn’t feel like we needed it). Kitchen had a filtered water station, coffee maker and a stovetop and toaster oven and clean fridge. There were thoughtful touches that added charm and ease!
I would absolutely stay there again!

Casa De Bauer was wonderful! Equipped with everything we needed to filling relax and unwind! The pool was a dream, and was so well taken care of! Everyone was respectful of others space and noise levels which was so kind! we rented a golf cart and the parking was a bit intimidating on the slope, but one of the gentleman who worked on the grounds showed me a way to make it so much easier! Thank you!!! The only thing to note is the water pressure can be very low (they make this clear in the booking) and with things in Sayulita you just gotta go with the flow sometimes. We did run out of water for about 12hrs, but the owner got people out there to fill the tanks fast and all was well! Over all I would book this again and we will be day dreaming about the pool and views for years!

Open space fit for friends or small family. We didn't use the kitchen or washer/dryer but loved the new appliances and the good AC and light that came into the place.

I had a wonderful time at this house in Sayulita. It was clean, comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped. The host is kind & responsive, and the value was great. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

The only minor drawbacks were the water pressure in the showers, which could be improved, and the location, which is on top of a steep hill, but could be avoided with a golf cart rental. However, the upside of the location is that it is very quiet and peaceful, and the views are stunning. The pictures don't do justice to how beautiful the house and the surroundings are. And despite the hill, it’s so close to the town center – you’d never know given how quiet & relaxing it is.

The place was spotless when we arrived. Also, the complex where it’s situated is very well kept. Facilities manager was out every morning cleaning the pool.

Overall, I give this house a 5/5 rating for cleanliness, comfort, staff, and value, and a 4/5 rating for facilities and location. It was one of the best bnb rental experiences I've had, and I would love to come back.

What a great find! We were very impressed upon arrival and even more so after getting the lay of the land. Minutes walk from the beach as well as town and all the great shops and eats. Loved on the days we wanted a little seclusion from the hustle and bustle just sitting by the amazing pool. The house is very comfortable and the beds even more so. Just what we were looking for after our many long days out soaking in the sights, sun, hiking etc. We were able to see whales breaching from right off of the beach. How cool! Loved how responsive both the owner and caretaker were when getting arrival information and suggestions on things to do and who to talk to. Highly recommend visiting Sayulita and Casa DE Bauer is an amazing way to get it done. Will definitely stay here again!

I was recently on a trip to Sayulita which was a first for me. I cant say enough about the hosts and their attentiveness from planning the trip and good recommendations about things to do. With help from rides from and to the airport. This was a beautiful place to stay, and the beds were extra comfy. Close to town but far enough away should one wanna relax. Nice walk to the beach which we had beautiful views from wonderful sunsets to Whales breaching offshore. If you get a chance to go check out Sayulita. And if you're in need of a place to stay, I highly recommend Casa de Bauer.

We stayed 3 nights, and the condo was comfortable with all the amenities needed. The location is our preferred area in Sayulita on the North End where is it quiet at night. Easy walk or golf cart ride into town and the beach. Melissa was responsive to all emails/texts. I had to work one day, and the Wi-Fi worked well for video chats.

A lovely home and great location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.

Wonderful. Clean, spacious and relaxing. Comfortable beds, bottled water. Short walk to the beach or into town. There are beach chairs and umbrella. Everything we needed😊. Will definitely refer to family and friends and come back!!

Our family of 3 stayed at Casa Bauer for 10 days in January. It was very pleasant and the condo is comfortable with everything you may need and more. It was as described.
The manager and staff of Ipomea were very responsive, helpful and polite.
Melissa was also available for any questions and quick to respond.
