Puerto Vallarta Malecon
The mile-long iconic Malecon is one of Puerto Vallarta’s most popular attraction for tourists and locals alike. There is plenty of action and wonderful curb-side attractions day and night. It extends from the central Hotel Rosita all the way south past the River Cuale to Los Muertos Beach. Enjoy a leisurely stroll as the breeze from the ocean cools you down even on the hottest of summer days. There are many restaurants with happy hours every day, and great food highlight tradition Mexican cuisine. Every Tuesday morning at 9:30 AM, free tours of the bronze sculptures lining the Malecon promenade are held. The tour begins at the Millennium sculpture next to the Hotel Rosita.
