Casa Primera Luz in Sayulita is a gorgeous 2 bedroom condo located on Gringo Hill, close to the center and Sayulita's main beach. Featuring a sprawling rooftop deck with an incredible pool and stunning ocean and jungle views, Casa Primera Luz promises an unparalleled relaxation experience.

Primera Luz is in a quiet residential neighborhood just a short 7-minute walk to town square down a charming cobblestone road. 
Two full master bedrooms complete with their own ensuite and a third full bathroom offer ample room for 4 guests. This condo includes a vast deck, rooftop ocean view pool, amazing jungle views to allow a sublime relaxing vacation.

Children under 8 are not allowed per HOA.

★ THE SPACE ★
Upon entering the condo at the street level, guests enter the unit by walking down to Unit #2. Both master bedrooms have full baths and direct patio access on their respective sides. Nestled between the bedrooms is a generously sized living room, adorned with a beautiful Parota dining table and a convenient office area. Here you can find a computer screen, laptop, bluetooth speaker, printer as well as a large work desk. The well-equipped kitchen boasts a full stove/oven, spacious pantry, stocked spice drawer, and all the necessary kitchenware to fulfill your culinary desires.

The condo is private and for rental guests only.
Enjoy the shared rooftop pool and bbq area along with your own 2 parking spots, one for your car and the other for a golf cart if you decide to rent one.
Guests have access to beach and bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, body gel and filtered water. Please consider NOT buying plastic water bottles and bring refillable bottles for your stay.

★ OTHER THINGS TO NOTE ★
Casa Primera Luz has two easy, gradual stair flights down from ground level.
Our town is also currently experiencing a real estate boom, as a result there is some construction noise all over town.
Currently, there is no construction noise next to the condo.
The building has 4 units. Only the rooftop and building entrance is shared.

NEIGHBORHOOD DESCRIPTION
Sayulita is a charming tapestry of locals, travellers, and ex-pats. We’ve been enjoying this amazing place for 15 years. It’s safe, fun, and offers something for everyone. Enjoy many activities or relax and enjoy fine dining and strolling through the town filled with local artisans, boutiques, fine dining, and fantastic mixologists! Popular for its surfing, live music, yoga retreats, as well as general meandering through interesting shops, alleyways, and endless people watching. If you haven’t experienced this place yet you’re missing out!
This part of Gringo Hill is quiet and is a short walk to the plaza so the location is quite convenient.

★ GETTING AROUND ★
Some guests love to walk everywhere but many also enjoy the use of a golf cart which you can easily rent by contacting the Property Managers. Two parking spots are available including a plug in spot for a cart if you choose to rent one. You can easily find your own parking spot noted on the images provided.

★ GUEST SAFETY★
Security cameras/audio recording devices - exterior only

★ POLICIES AND RULES ★

Children under 12 are not allowed per HOA.

LONG TERM RENTALS
For rentals 7 days or longer, renters are required to pay for a change sheets/towels each week. This can be done by setting up a house cleaning with the property manager. This fee will be paid directly to the cleaning staff.

NUMBER OF GUESTS: The house is limited to the published amount of guests. The Guest will not show up and expect housing for extra guests at an extra cost. 
Should the Guest want to invite guests to the house (friends, chef, masseuse, etc. it must first be cleared with the PM).

QUIET HOURS: Please respect quiet hours (10pm-9am). Should you come to party, please do so in town and when you and your rental group return home, be respectful of the fact that there are neighbors. 

AIR CONDITIONING: Please close all doors when running the air conditioning and turn off when nobody is in the rooms. Please do not lower the air below 22C. 

ACCESS TO THE PROPERTY: The Guest shall allow the Property Manager access to the property for the purposes of repair and inspection. The Property Manager shall access this right in a reasonable manner and by always communicating first with the Guest. The Guest will allow access for landscaping and pool maintenance as this is a scheduled event. The renter does not have the right to refuse service unless they feel they are in danger. If the renter is uncomfortable with a cleaner, landscaper, or pool person, they should immediately contact the PM. 

DAMAGE PROTECTION: We will charge for the following, as stated on Airbnb's site.
• Damage to your home, furnishings, valuables, or belongings caused by guests (or their invitees)
•Unexpected or extra cleaning costs needed due to the behavior of a guest (or their invitees) during an Airbnb stay—for example, professional carpet cleaning
We commonly see stained sheets and towels. To avoid extra cleaning fees do not use towels to clean make up or dry hair that has been dyed. Do not sleep on sheets with wet dyed hair. DO report stains immediately as we may be able to get them out. Thank you!

TOILETS: DO NOT FLUSH TOILET PAPER. ONLY human waste goes in toilets.

SINKS: Do not put food or objects down the drains.

MEXICO IS DIFFERENT: Please remember that you are renting a house in a small village in Mexico. The culture, house construction, and infrastructure may be different from the country or city you are coming from.

CONSTRUCTION: In the past few years Sayulita has experienced incredible growth. Although Sayulita is a small town, there are at least 50 homes being built or reconstructed every year. There may be construction and construction noise right next door to the unit you are renting. We do not provide refunds based on noise levels from neighbors. Nor do we have special knowledge of when and where people will build. We apologize for any inconvenience you may experience; however, we are sure that you will enjoy renting these beautiful homes in the years to come. We will ALWAYS publish as soon as we know there is construction going on but cannot control times they work or noise levels.

HOUSE CHANGES: We do our best to update our website photographs and maintain the information listed on each page. However, items break or are purchased and may not be reported immediately. If something is strangely out of place, please do reach out to the PM for assistance. 
 
DAMAGES AND MISSING ITEMS: You, the Guest, agree to take complete responsibility and liability for any damage caused to the rental property or any items contained therein, by you or anyone you allow into the rental property. 

EXTRA CLEANING: The guest is expected to treat the house as if it were their own. This is a private residence and the expectation is that it be treated that way. This means that you are expected to clean up after yourself and your group. The Guest is not expected to leave the house in perfect condition, but a general level of cleanliness is expected. Garbage will not be overflowing and full of organic waste. Garbage bags will be used in trash bins. The Guest will pick up general garbage left in the house. An extra full day of cleaning will be charged to the Guest should it require extra cleaning.
 
ELECTRICITY: Sayulita is subjected to many electrical storms, especially in the summer months. Lightning often causes the power to go out all over town. When this happens, the power is usually returned within a few hours. The rental property is in no way responsible for acts of nature or general power outages. If the power goes out in your rental house the Guest should contact the PM so that they can file reports and also check if it is a house related issue.
 
ACCIDENTS AND LIABILITY: Just like in one’s own home, accidents happen. Tiles and other floor or ground surfaces may be slippery, especially when wet. Some of the houses have beautiful views which also make them dangerous for young children. Many of the railings have gaps where a crawling child might be able to fit through. The house nor the property owners are responsible for any accident or harm to renters within the boundaries of the property or anywhere in Mexico. The Guest accepts full responsibility for being aware of their environment and using caution during their vacation.
In the same fashion, should a Guest break something, they are expected to report it immediately. 

GUEST WAIVER 
RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS, ASSUMPTION OF RISKS & INDEMNITY AGREEMENT
BY SIGNING THIS RELEASE AGREEMENT, YOU WILL WAIVE OR GIVE UP
 CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE OR CLAIM 
COMPENSATION FOLLOWING AN ACCIDENT.

TO: Casa Primera Luz and their directors, officers, property managers, employees, workers, agents, independent contractors, guides, subcontractors, volunteers, and representatives, involved with the rental of Casa Primera Luz, all of whom are hereinafter collectively referred to as “THE RELEASEES”). 

For the purpose of this WAIVER, the Guest is any person who stays at Casa  Primera Luz. 

ASSUMPTION OF RISKS 
The Guest takes full responsibility for participation in and understands the risks, dangers and hazards associated with staying at Casa Primera Luz. These include but are not limited to: rapidly changing weather conditions; loss of lighting due to power outages; steep or slippery steps or walkways; slips and falls; dangers related with a swimming pool; accidental drowning; loss of balance; illness; shower water temperature changes etc.
The Guest is responsible for all personal belongings brought to the property. 
The Guest is responsible for locking the doors to each room as well as the entrance of the property.
The Guest is responsible for the safe code, proper use of the safe, and its contents. 
The Guest is responsible for his/her safety as well as the safety of anyone staying at or visiting Casa Primera Luz. This includes all common areas, bedrooms, landscaping, paths, steps, pool, pool area, decks, and entrance to the house.
The Guest is responsible for any damage done to the property by the Guest.

THE GUEST IS AWARE OF THE RISKS, DANGERS AND HAZARDS ASSOCIATED WITH STAYING AT CASA  PRIMERA LUZ AND FREELY ACCEPTS AND FULLY ASSUMES ALL SUCH RISKS, DANGERS AND HAZARDS AND THE POSSIBILITY OF PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE OR LOSS RESULTING THEREFROM.

In consideration of the GUEST participation with Casa Primera Luz AND the use of services, equipment and facilities with Casa Primera Luz, and for other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is acknowledged, the GUEST hereby agrees as follows: 

1.   TO WAIVE ANY AND ALL CLAIMS that the GUEST has or may have in the future have against the RELEASEES AND TO RELEASE THE RELEASEES from any and all liability for any loss, damage, expense or injury, including death, that the GUEST may suffer or that the GUEST’s next of kin may suffer, as a result of the GUEST staying at Casa Primera Luz DUE TO ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE, BREACH OF CONTRACT, OR BREACH OF ANY STATUTORY OR OTHER DUTY OF CARE, ON THE PART OF THE RELEASEES, AND FURTHER INCLUDING THE FAILURE ON THE PART OF THE RELEASEES TO SAFEGUARD OR PROTECT THE GUEST FROM THE RISKS, DANGERS AND HAZARDS REFERRED TO ABOVE.

2.    TO HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFY THE RELEASEES for any all liability for any property damage, loss or personal injury to any third party resulting from my participation in the lodging at Casa Primera Luz. 

The Guest confirms reading and understanding this release agreement.    
The Guest has read and understands that a violation of the Contract by the Guest, may result in the loss of part, or all of the cash deposit.

Beautiful spot, everything felt new and clean. Pool area was great and had it to ourselves. Town was abput about a 5 minute walk but if you’re walking home, it will be uphill, golf cart recommended.
WiFi was great, had an office if you’re working remotely like myself. Friendly host and very quick to response. Will definitely be back!

This place was THE BEST. Carlos helped us set up a ride from the airport then met us at check-in. The apt is even more beautiful than the photos. We always had the pool to ourselves and were a 10 min walk from the beach and the perfection. Of Sayulita. We didn’t NEED a golf cart, but they’re fun so we got one and had a blast. Carlos also helped us set that up. Truly an amazing experience all around.
There were little things like minor construction noise or music playing in the distance that a high maintenance person might be pissy about. If you know someone like that, leave them at home! Then stay in this apt and have a magical time.

We loved our stay at this home in Sayulita. Although the rooftop pool is a shared space, we had it to ourselves every day which was definitely a highlight of the vacation. We were able to arrange a reliable ride to/from the airport and a golf cart rental thanks to a contact provided by our host, and every local restaurant recommendation exceeded all expectations.
