Alma Vida Retreats and Guest House

All pricing is in USD per night and taxes are included in the price per night.
$1,500 USD security deposit is required
*Note: nightly rates listed are the starting point for the first 12 people in high season, and first 10 people in low season. There will be an additional fee for each additional person per day.
ALMA VIDA CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING & REPLACEMENT RETREATS
Refund Schedule
- More than 9 months before arrival: 100% refund minus US$500 admin fee
- 6–9 months before arrival: 60% refund minus US$500 admin fee
- 3–5 months before arrival: 30% refund minus US$500 admin fee
- Less than 3 months: No refund
No refunds or credits will be issued for early departure, unused nights, missed activities, or participant no-shows. No refunds will be issued outside this schedule.
Rescheduling
-One-time rescheduling only, with at least 6 months’ notice
- New dates must fall within 12 months of original arrival
- Rescheduled booking cannot be cancelled or rescheduled again
- Rate changes may apply
- Subject to availability
- If no new dates are confirmed within 12 months → payments forfeited
Replacement Retreat / Substitute Group
If the Leader cannot proceed, a replacement group may be proposed. Alma Vida is open and
supportive of replacement requests, provided that:
- The replacement is pre-approved in writing
- The replacement agrees to all terms
- The replacement booking is of equal or greater value
If approved and fully paid, Alma Vida will issue a partial refund minus US$500 admin fee. While the Owner is not required to accept a replacement, Alma Vida will make a good-faith effort to support reasonable proposals aligned with the nature and standards of the
property.
Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform its obligations if caused by events beyond
reasonable control, including natural disasters, hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, fire, government restrictions, shutdowns, epidemics or pandemics, war, civil unrest, mandatory evacuations, or other circumstances that make the retreat impossible to operate legally or safely.
If a Force Majeure event prevents the retreat from occurring:
- All funds paid will be held as credit for 12 months from the original arrival date.
- The Leader must reschedule within 12 months, subject to availability.
- Rate changes may apply.
- If the Leader does not reschedule within 12 months, payments are forfeited.
- If after 12 months the retreat still cannot lawfully or safely occur, Alma Vida will issue a
refund minus the US$500 administrative
