Payment is processed securely online. A 50% payment is required to confirm the reservation, with the remaining 50% due 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations made within 30 days of arrival require payment in full at the time of booking. A refundable security deposit hold is placed on the guest’s card 2 days prior to arrival. This is an authorization hold, not a charge, and is released 5 days after departure provided there are no damages or additional charges.

Villa Tranquila is a spacious 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom ocean-view villa overlooking the entire sweep of Sayulita Bay. With three King bedrooms, generous indoor-outdoor living spaces, a private hot tub, shared infinity pool access, and the beach just steps away, it offers an exceptional combination of panoramic views, privacy, and location.

Wake Up to Sayulita Bay

Wake up with the ocean directly in front of you, make a coffee, and step onto the expansive terrace as Sayulita slowly comes to life below. From here, you can watch surfers paddle out to the breaks, boats cross the bay, and the coastline stretch toward the jungle-covered mountains.

Three King Bedrooms • Three Bathrooms

The villa features three King bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom. Two bedrooms are positioned on opposite sides of the main living area, while the third offers an additional sense of privacy with its own kitchenette and private ocean-view balcony.

An additional single bed is also available for one child, giving families a little extra flexibility.

This layout works particularly well for three couples, families, or friends traveling together, giving everyone their own comfortable space while still providing plenty of room to gather.

Indoor-Outdoor Living

At the center of the villa, the spacious living and dining areas flow naturally toward the expansive ocean-facing terrace.

A full kitchen makes it easy to prepare breakfast, drinks, or dinner at home, while artwork, handcrafted tables and mirrors, and distinctive decorative pieces give the villa the warmth and character of an established Sayulita home.

Your Private Hot Tub

Just outside the primary bedroom is your private hot tub, partially surrounded by tropical greenery and connected to the main terrace.

Come back from the beach, pour a drink, settle into the warm water, and enjoy the atmosphere as the day winds down.

Shared Infinity Pool + Beach Just Steps Away

Guests also have access to the infinity pool, or you can simply head down to the ocean.

Sayulita’s main beach is just steps from the property, making it easy to move between breakfast on the terrace, swimming in the Pacific, relaxing by the pool, and heading back out for sunset.

Panoramic Views Without Giving Up the Location

One of the things that makes Villa Tranquila particularly special is that you get panoramic views without giving up the convenience of being close to everything.

Many of Sayulita’s dramatic ocean views require staying high in the hills, but here the heart of town is just a few mostly flat blocks away on foot.

Walk into town for breakfast, explore the shops and restaurants, come home for an afternoon by the pool, and walk back out for dinner. Playa de los Muertos is also just a short walk away in the opposite direction.

Housekeeping + Beach Essentials

Housekeeping is included Monday through Saturday to help keep your stay easy and comfortable.

Beach essentials including towels, chairs, an umbrella, cooler, and boogie board are also provided for days by the water.

Everything Within Walking Distance

There is no on-site parking for cars or golf carts and no golf cart charging available at the property.

Because the beach, town center, restaurants, cafés, and shops are all within easy walking distance, we generally do not recommend renting a car or golf cart during your stay.

Everything was perfect

Staying at Villa Amor is a must! Beautiful rooms to gorgeous views. We loved it so much we decided to have our wedding here in Sayulita. We had most of our family and friends stay at Villa Amor so we got to check out most of the rooms. I stayed at Bonita - which has a huge balcony, Personal kitchen, and great ocean views. My brother and his wife stayed at Pacifico - 2 bedroom, personal pool, spacious living room for hosting, and ocean views. Highly recommend this spot.

If you’re planning your wedding here please get in contact with Karen Ruezga, she is the best at what she does. You can email/call Villa Amor and they will get you in contact with her. She is super responsive and very professional. Down to budget sheets to last-minute requests. She is so on it!

We got to Sayulita a few days before the wedding. We wanted to get a few days in before the wedding hosting had to start. Sure enough the morning (7am) before the wedding rehearsal my wife is sick and has the stomach bug. I make it to the local pharmacy and get her drugs with hopes of it working and then head to the wedding rehearsal to meet Karen. Once there and I explain to Karen what is going on she immediately tells me she’s going to take care of it and calls a doctor to head to our room. It felt like a weight taken off my shoulders cause I knew Karen would come through , and she did. Doctor showed up / Bed Nurse for 10hrs- 3 bags- and few injections later my wife was good to go by 6pm. It was incredible!

The wedding the following day was perfect right on the beach. Dancing on the sand and drinking it all in. The whole place had lights dangling from the trees and the Sayulita flags as well. Wish I could do it all over again.

Absolutely Amazing Experience

I got married at Villa Amor in February, and we can not say enough good things. Firstly, the front desk staff were phenomenal! We had most contact with Jesse. He helped us take all our bags up to The Gran Villa (LOTS OF STAIRS). He helped my husband arrange transportation to a nearby golf course. He even gave us his personal number so we could message him with any requests. The rooms were beautiful. We stayed in The Gran Villa which was GORGEOUS, and our families stayed in multiple other villas, they all enjoyed their accommodations.

The restaurant at Villa Amor - Si Senor, is very good, but you can find more affordable food in the town.

The wedding was AMAZING. Karen Ruezga and her team are the best! Karen made the whole planning process very easy and stress free. I sent her a few pinterest photos of what I wanted, and was so happy with the final product. The decor was beautiful. Karen was there the day of and was so professional. One of my bridemaids was "sick" the day of the wedding, and Karen knew exactly what to do so that she didn't miss our special day. The service during the cocktail hour, and dinner was second to none, and the dinner was DELICIOUS.

All in all, we had a wonderful experience and wish we could do it again

Spectacular place to stay

Villa Amor is an incredible place to stay, and once you are there, the service is excellent. It is absolutely an unforgettable experience in a spectacular location. I highly recommend. Shout out to Jessie, one of the Villa Amor staff, who was so helpful and kind! We will definitely be back

Excellent place to stay

We had the pleasure of staying at Villa Amor for 3 nights. Our Villa was gorgeous. It was all one room but spacious and the view from it was drop dead gorgeous. We spent all of our time on the balcony watching the waves, surfers and fisherman going out to fish. The sound of the waves at night was a dream, although earplugs were available for our use (if that bothers you). The staff was friendly & accommodating throughout our visit & the bar/restaurant were more than accommodating to the large group we were traveling with. If you are looking for a place to stay....check into the Villa Amor, it is excellent!

Beautiful Villa Views and Staff

Dream Wedding at Villa Amor with Family and Friends

First and most important, there are truly no words to describe how wonderful Karen, her entire team, and Villa Amor are. We are speechless!

We started planning our wedding with Karen last January. From the beginning, she made everything so easy. She never left out a detail and was great at communicating. She is extremely organized and made the wedding planning process fun. They also kept track of which of our guests were staying in what villas. They would send me this update weekly. This helped for when our guests checked in, so they could hand out their welcome gifts!

Beyond her extremely professional side, she is so friendly. I changed my mind on details multiple times throughout the process and Karen was so patient. She definitely has a can-do mentality! She was always available and quick to answer my questions.

It was hard for me to let go and trust someone else to help, but that’s what you need to do when you’re planning your wedding from another country. Karen put my mind at peace and I learned to trust her with each detail. Karen offered many options, solutions, and organized all the small details I brought personally so perfectly.

Villa Amor and Karen helped organize activities for guests, shuttles to/from the airport, golf carts, grocery trips, and any other inquiries we had. Everything went perfectly with transportation and our wedding guests were so happy and comfortable. Villa Amor and Karen provides the most wonderful service to our guests and I could not be more appreciative!

We got married February 1, 2020. The day of was absolutely perfect! Every single detail was even better than I expected. It was so beautiful. Honestly, everything was a dream from the ceremony details, the decorations, the timing, the food, the service, literally everything...! All of our guests were completely blown away too, each guest saying that this was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to. Thank you so much, Karen and all of Villa Amor!

A lovely place to stay with gorgeous views

Staying at the Villa Amor was such a treat! It is located at the edge of the bay up on a hill with a gorgeous view even though you are only steps from the beach and the center of town. We stayed for 5 nights in “Serena” which was a one-bedroom with a fully equipped kitchen, seating area and deck. The bedroom and bathroom were very spacious. There is no need to rent a car, everything is walkable. There are a couple of rooms on street level but I prefer being higher up above it all.
The restaurant on the property is quite lovely but more expensive than the restaurants on the beach which were very good. The fresh fish is amazing

Such a lovely vacation!

10/10 Recommend

Gorgeous resort. I stayed here a couple days for a wedding in February, and my wife and I really enjoyed our time. Walking distance to the beach, and walking distance to the main square. Depending on your room, you may have to walk up a couple flight of stairs - totally worth the view, but be aware if you don't like to walk up a bunch of stairs. Also depending on your room, great views of Sayulita. I would absolutely stay here again!
