Exquisite Architectural Design

So Exquisite You Won't Want to Stay Anywhere Else

Casa Angel in Sayulita was designed by Miguel Valverde, a well known Mexican Architect whose work has been featured in Houses of the Pacific Coast. It is so lovely and graceful, that when you sit in the pool, you will find yourself staring up at it and smiling. And what a setting! The expansive ocean view includes a long stretch of rugged coastline, the palm-lined beach, as well as the lagoon where the fishermen of Sayulita moor their boats. On the land side, Casa Angel sits directly beside a wild and completely undeveloped jungle canyon. The ocean breezes are nearly constant, and you can fall to sleep to the gentle sound of waves breaking on the shore. At night, the lights of Sayulita glitter below. The sunsets are magnificent, and in every room are large wooden doors and windows, which fold open to create an airy indoor/outdoor lifestyle perfect for the tropics.

Surrounding Casa Angel is an extensive, flower-filled garden, and a lush level lawn. Beyond the lawn is a gracefully curved heated saltwater pool, not a dipping pool, but one that is large enough to swim laps. And it’s all yours. Since there are no casitas or other units on the property, once you close the garden gate behind you, no one will enter except at your invitation. Lounge in the sunshine and take a night swim in the sparkling lighted pool.

Casa Angel in Sayulita features three totally separate, private bedrooms with adjoining baths. The upstairs Master Bedroom is ringed with a flower box filled with flowers. The other upstairs white bedroom has a beautiful view of the water. The downstairs bedroom opens directly onto the patio and pool, and not only has a gorgeous ocean view, but looks out as well into the wild jungle canyon.

The breathtaking natural surroundings, combined with an exceptional attention to detail, literally surround you with beauty. Ringing the floors of each of the round rooms, as well as in the mirador, pool, patio, and paths you will find delicate inlaid stone vines and flowers by talented artisan Lupe Ascencia. Towering above the upstairs bedrooms are palapas, whose workmanship will amaze and delight you.

Casa Angel offers luxury furninghings throughout. In the Master Bedroom you will find fine hardwood furniture from Malaysia, and in the downstairs bedroom, a beautiful white four poster bed with a canopy.  The white room has locally made furnishing and art work. Curvy wrought iron outdoor chairs and a marble table allow you to eat outdoors in style, while chaise lounges and chairs imported from the U.S make you comfortable around the pool. The kitchen counters and the patio are crafted of a beautiful mango colored local rock called Tekul. The new furnishings in the living room and updated kitchen makes for wonderful entertaining.

Casa Angel in Sayulita would be the perfect place for a honeymoon. But if you aren’t on your honeymoon, why not treat yourself to this anyway?

Eric, our house manager and Chemo the gardener will clean the pool and care for the garden three times a week. Carmina our maid will clean three days a week except Sunday and holidays (unless this is not wanted.). Our local English and Spanish speaking house manager, Eric, will be available to handle any problems or questions which arise. Air conditioning is available during the summer in all three bedrooms, and is not needed at other times because of the almost constant ocean breezes. The walk down to the beach is only about five minutes, but because the house sits high on a hill, if you are disabled or out of shape for walking, you may wish to bring a car or rent a golf cart, which you can park in the palapa covered carport just beyond the garden gate. The house is located on a good cobblestone road.

Great pool, fantastic view. Eric was absolutely wonderful...great guy.
We stayed at Casa Angel from November 2-9 2017 with our three children ages 3,5,8. They absolutely loved the pool and preferred it over the beach. I have stayed at Sayulita a few times now and this was the best view I have ever had. I would recommend getting a golf cart as the climb to the house is intense for little ones. The house is close to a great pizza joint with gluten free options (important for my family) and other great breakfast, lunch, dinner options. Town is a short 5 minute golf cart drive away. There is a turtle sanctuary straight down to the beach from Casa Angel and we got to see turtles being released to the ocean a couple times. Very cool for the kids to see. Eric, the house manager, was always available and is the man in town. He is full of knowledge and a great resource to make your stay wonderful. Sayulita is becoming a very busy town so if you are looking for an oasis and want to get away from the bustle and play safely in a very clean pool, then this is your place. I would however bring ear plugs for the upstairs rooms just in case your neighbors are partiers and you aren't. Thanks for the memories Casa Angel. Hasta luego!

Gem on the hill!!
Casa Angel in Sayulita is an absolute divine vacation spot. Everything about this Casa was perfect for us. A beautiful home with a gorgeous view ,close enough to town but not too close. We felt like the rich and famous in a magical spot.

The owners were so easy to deal with ,the caretaker was very helpful and informative. We have stayed in other Casas in Sayulita and had many problems that caused us to regret our choice. We have no regrets with Casa Angel, in fact ,we have found our go-to place. Such a wonderful, peaceful place to rest your head. We love Sayulita and Casa Angel!

FANTASTIC vacation!!!
Casa Angel is a beautiful house with an incredible view. We had an amazing time at Casa Angel. The house is beautiful, very clean and well-equipped.

Eric is super nice and always available to help and provide useful information. Carmina and her team were very helpful too and her meal was delicious. We definitely recommend to rent a golf cart, especially to bring back home water and grocery. Thanks to the owners for this fantastic vacation. We will definitely go back!

Incredible stay at Casa Angel
We've stayed in four other beautiful homes in Sayulita, Casa Angel is without a doubt the best house we've stayed in. Amazing views, spacious bedrooms, great common areas, great size pool and incredible service from Sarah, Eric, Carmina, her daughter and Chemo. Very safe house with alarm, safe and gates.

Great value for the money you pay.
You also get an amazing feeling of being in the jungle and in the beach at the same time. Great option to rent a car we did so with Town Around and they had the golf cart ready at Casa Angel.

Thanks to everyone coming back to casa angel soon.

A Slice of Heaven in Sayulita
Upon pulling up to Casa Angel in Sayulita, I couldn't believe this is where I was going to be staying for the next few was like something out of a movie! The views were incredible, the house was so open and comfortable and it was incredibly peaceful.

The sunsets are not to be missed. All of our friends gathered out by the pool each evening to toast the sun going down before taking the quick trip into downtown for dinner or whatever the plan for the evening was. I would recommend stopping into the grocery store upon arriving in Puerto Vallarta.

We enjoyed cooking breakfast in the well equipped kitchen before heading down to the beach and after several hours on the sand, it was so nice coming back to the house seeing everything had been tidied up by the housekeepers.

I can't wait to go back to Sayulita and will DEFINITELY be staying at Casa Angel again :)

A Perfect Piece of Sayulita Heaven
Casa Angel is a little bit of heaven. For my first stay in Sayulita, it was the perfect spot for me and my girlfriends for our relaxing, but fun getaway. The house is cozy, clean and comfortable with beautiful views, a close walk to town and in a safe location.

Enjoying sunrise and sunsets next to the beautiful infinity pool is perfection with the views of the ocean, mountains and town. What I loved was that we were up on the hill and a bit out of the fray of town but the walk to and from town was close. The North Beach, which is a bit quieter than the town beach was just a 5 minute golf cart ride and 10 minute walk through the older and characteristic part of town.

If you love to exercise, walking up the hill to Casa Angel is steep but quick and there is a beautiful outdoor yoga studio under a Papapa just a short walk from the house. At Casa Angel you have privacy from the other houses and you feel very safe with the security system the house has. I really loved walking into Casa Angel as you feel as though you are in the jungle and then it opens up to amazing views. Carmina and Eric were always available for questions and making us feel comfortable and taken care of. I really enjoyed my stay and cant wait to go back!

Great Family Vacation
We spent a week with a 4yo, a 2yo, two grandmas and mom and dad and had a fabulous time. The water filtration is a huge bonus with little ones. The house is gorgeous and immaculately maintained. Eric was very helpful. A golf cart was essential with the kids but the electric cart from Pacific Coast hauled the six of us up the steep hill without a problem. Be sure to tell them where you are staying so that they get you a cart that can handle the hill. Playa de Los Muertos was perfect for the kids and we appreciated the folding beach chairs that came with the house. Thanks so much for a great vacation spot!

Casa Angel in Late June
Upon arrival you are overwhelmed with the beauty of the property. After spending a week in Sayulita I believe the location of Casa Angel was second to none. Although the house is located on Nanzal Hill, it was a very short, enjoyable 5 minute stroll into town. Walking home after a few too many dos XX's and Don Julio's was another story....

Eric went above and beyond that expected and was always available to assist us with our issues. His local knowledge of the area was very helpful when deciding on our days activities.

During our stay the local town lost 50 percent of its power supply for a 24 hour period. We were informed that this is a common event on Sundays due to the inability of the local grid to cover the power requirements. Unfortunately this resulted in the loss of the water supply for this period (Luckily, Eric had sorted out the issue before we even noticed, and provided us with enough bottled water to get through the week).

Although the ad does say internet is provided, do not rely on this if you require a connection for work purposes. In order to send emails we had to take our laptops into town. Luckily every cafe provided free wifi on request.

We stayed at the property in late June and I feel this was an excellent time. The bulk of tourism had left meaning we virtually had the place to ourselves. Weather was brillient and I never had to wear anything more than board shorts and a singlet.

This beautiful property is a wonderful retreat away and our time spent was in Sayulita was highly enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this property to any families or groups looking for a holiday in this area. I would happily stay there again.

Beautiful Home in Beautiful Surroundings
Casa Angel pictures & write-up are exact! The home was well decorated with all the amenities you'd need. This home does have a level & fairly large lawn area by the pool which we enjoyed daily! The pool is a nice size, four of us were in it at once & we are all adults! I especially loved my morning swim by myself! The walk up the hill is steep, but excellent exercise. We even walked up to the top of the area hills to explore. We felt very safe in Sayulita. The security system in the home was easy to use & an added bonus. I feel Sayulita is the perfect town to stay in when in the Puerta Vallarta area, you get a better feel of Mexico & there is alot to do there. We had Carmina come every other day, she is a very sweet person. We had her do some laundry for us because Eric stated that the washer/dryer were finicky (I really felt bad about not doing my own & would have preferred to do my own). There is a DVD player so we brought one movie to watch for our movie night. We could not watch it though as we could not get our movie to play. Eric explained something about "piracy". There is many DVD movies in the home, both in English & Spanish. We enjoyed many meals in town. My son & dau-in-law enjoyed the Italian restaurant w/swings & a quiet restaurant on the ocean- both romantic. We had a personal chef come one night ( Sayulita-Life website is an excellent website to view before coming to Mexico to make some plans.) She was excellent, taught us while cooking & FUN!! I would also recommend horse-back riding. My daughter & I went on an hour ride near Litibu (about 15 miles south of Sayulita) through jungle, the little town & on the beach. We had 2 guides all to ourselves plus we met our driver in Sayulita, who drove us to the ranch & back & she had bottled water after our ride! Do the massage on the beach!! It is inexpensive & wonderful!! Thanks to Sally for getting back to me via e-mail before our trip & Eric, who made suggestions & answered our questions while in Sayulita & Carmina for taking care of Casa Angel & our laundry while we were in Mexico! Thanks for getting out the large airbed for my daughter to use as the queen bed wouldn't work for my 19 year old dau & 23 year old son to use. My only suggestion would be for a set of twin beds vs queen in one of the smaller bedrooms. Thank-you all so much!!
