As a professional wedding airbrush makeup and hair stylist, I understand that on your wedding day you will want to feel radiant and exquisitely beautiful. I would love to work with you to ensure that your vision becomes a reality. Whether you prefer a look that is soft and romantic or sophisticated and elegant, it is my goal to capture your personal style and enhance your natural beauty. Your wedding day could very well be the most important and photographed day of your life! I’ve learned what are the finest quality professional cosmetics products that work best for professional photography, as well as the longest lasting makeup, so you look great all day!

On Location:

I travel to all of my clients within the Puerto Vallarta, Nuevo Vallarta, Mita and Sayulita area for both the trial and the wedding day. This is more comfortable and relaxing for you and your wedding party as you can get ready at home or in the accommodation of your choice. If you are from out of town and have an inconvenience with the fee that some hotels/resorts charge for bringing in an external artist or if you have a space issue, I am happy to open my home to host you and your bridal party on the wedding day.

Professional team of support artists

In case it is needed, I have a support team of artists who are professional and experienced. My support team is comfortable working with small and large bridal parties as well as with all skin and hair types.

I Cannot Recommend Enough!!!

I have never felt more beautiful! I went to see Mary Carmen and her assistants at her villa for my wedding in January 2024 in Punta Mita, and her and her team have done more beautiful work than I have even back home. I'm so glad I took the time to read reviews to take the 8 minute taxi ride from my resort to her place to get ready, because it was an amazing experience. We felt welcome in her home, and she allowed us a few minutes to take pictures in her beautiful yard after. I cannot stop looking at photos of my hair and makeup. You will be well taken care of if you book with Mary Carmen and her team!

Amazing Hair & Makeup

She did my makeup and hair for my wedding in Sayulita in November 2023. It was incredible!!! I could not have been happier. I don't normally wear a lot of makeup and she did such an amazing job making me feel beautiful but still like myself. My hair inspo was this complicated braid half up do and she did an excellent job recreating it! She even came to the venue to do touch ups for the pictures, really went the extra mile. She is really incredible and I highly recommend her.

Forgot my hair accessories and she saved the day

All the reviews will tell you what a wonderful (and may I mention multitalented) artist MaryCarmen is and it’s all true, so I will share a different dimension to her. I took an Uber to MaryCarmen’s home for my bridal hair and makeup and she nailed it. My wedding was a 30C and very sunny day which meant sweating a lot but everything held on. When I arrived at MaryCarmen’s, I realized I left all my hair accessories in my hotel room and there wasn’t any time to go back to get them. She quickly coordinated with her husband to drive over to my hotel to pick them up from my partner. Everything worked out swiftly and stress free with her quick thinking and solution. She directed me to request my Uber early and had her husband to hold the driver as I would learn later in the week, Uber drivers will not wait for you and sometimes the next driver available driver will take 20-25 minutes. Just trust her. When you have wedding day brain, she will make sure you time with her is the most relaxing part of your day.

I’m still in awe!!!

Wow!! Was the reaction I had of the final results. Makeup has been the best I’ve ever had done and it held the entire night. I stepped out of my comfort zone with my hair and it was the best decision I made. Mary did a phenomenal job and I felt very pretty on my special day. Highly recommend

Amazing wedding/bridal hair & makeup!

I have gotten my hair & makeup done many times as a bridesmaid and have never been happy with how it turned out until Mary Carmen! She did my hair and makeup for my rehearsal dinner and wedding day. I loved how it turned out both nights. She and her team are wonderful!! My 8 bridesmaids looked stunning and all loved how they looked. The makeup was natural and lasted all night, which surprised me in the humidity! I have never felt so beautiful. These ladies were kind, punctual, and very easy to work with. Professional top quality service for brides and wedding party

Carmen led makeup for my wedding party and I. She brought an entire team together to glam up my bridesmaids while she made me look and feel like a princess. We did a boho updo and a natural glam makeup look which looked beautiful until 2 am when I finally washed my makeup off. We also did a test day after the 2023 hurricane without AC (no power). Carmen was amazing at working with me in challenging conditions and finding a way to keep my hair done even in crazy humidity. I firmly recommend Carmen for brides who want their makeup done in Sayulita!

Amazing service

Carmen is so talented and professional! She did my makeup and brought one of her employees to do my hair back in January for a double elopement. They were so amazing and good at what they do. I was so happy with my make up/hair and I’m really picky lol. I don’t usually wear makeup and I didn’t want it caked on and it turned out perfect. My hair is naturally curly and doesn’t hold curls well (it’s weird I know) so I was really worried my hair wouldn’t stay. My hair held up till I went to bed that night! I do recommend doing the trial a couple days before just so you can see what you like/don’t like. Thank you so much Carmen
