Description

Casa Suerte in Sayulita is a beachfront house located in the gated beachfront complex of Villas del Palmar.

Casa Suerte is 5 minutes from the South side of the beach and 10 minutes from the many restaurants, bars, and activities Sayulita offers while maintaining a quiet, calm atmosphere. When taking a break from adventuring, you can enjoy your time in the outdoor common area that includes a shared pool, lounge chairs, and garden area.

This vacation rental has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a kitchen and dining room, and on the third floor an open terrace with a barbecue overlooking the Sayulita Bay. Casa Suerte has 4 bedrooms. Three of these bedrooms boast a luxury King-sized bed and, the fourth bedroom boasts 2 single beds and two trundle beds.

Silvia, the host, makes this unit the BEST!

Place was tidy and worked for four adults and two young kids. Fixed shower heads but showers are hot. Bring your own toiletries as they only seem to provide handsoap. A/C in bedrooms were cold. I do hope they got to fix the one with the twin bedrooms, so verify with host first. No A/C in the living room/kitchen area so it can get hot. There are ceiling fans in every room/area which helps. Opening the sliding doors also helps. The beds are firm except the twin beds.

Kitchen is stocked with cooking, eating and cleaning supplies/tools but ingredients are almost non-existent. Be ready to bring basic cooking ingredients (sugar, salt, oil etc). Drinking water is provided using a plastic dispenser. The dispenser was clean but we cleaned it too just to be safe. The second floor is an open space so the squirrels have access to the kitchen. Do not leave fruits or food exposed.

Pool is not heated but can get warm from the sun. Still very fun especially after swimming in the ocean, which is steps away from the pool area. Lots of beach chairs to borrow for a beach day. Location is walkable and lots of places to eat close by: pizza place and ice cream spots across the street. The plaza is also an easy walk. Overall the place is the perfect homebase for a relaxing, quiet Sayulita trip.

But the best part is having Silvia as a host. She is responsive and kind. First, she allowed us to check in early and check out late. And when the civil unrest in Puerto Vallarta occurred, she offered her unit for us to stay in --- no matter how long we needed to (of course we had to figure out how to compensate her for that). She checked in a lot and offered assistance. Fortunately, the timing of our trip worked out with everything going back to normal so we didn't need to stay longer. But that peace of mind of having a place to stay in and a caring host during a (short) chaotic time is beyond wonderful. So thank you Silvia for everything!

Perfect family trip

6 couples and two kids were very comfortable with this unit.
There were Great Hot Showers. Didn’t run out of hot water.
We really liked the heated pool for the kids and grownups. Beach right there. Restaurants across the street and convenient tiendas nearby. Would definitely stay there again. Kids loved it.

Amazing hosts, home, and location!

Silvia's condo was the perfect retreat for our family of 9 for 8 nights. The location was amazing: steps to the beach and massage therapists on the beach, fruit/vegetable markets around the corner and great dinner and dessert options right outside the complex. The unit has an ocean view roof top deck: where we started our mornings with coffee and fruit and ended our day with dinner and games.
Any small issues we had were quickly resolved by Silvia and her house manager, Azucena. We really appreciated the midweek clean and fresh towels.
This is not a "high end" property, but it is comfortable, clean, affordable and an amazing location. For families that like to chill, cook their own meals, watch the sunrise and sunset on the beach and connect with one another, this is perfect!!
Something that I don't believe is mentioned is that the unit has an indoor/outdoor concept. All the bedrooms are enclosed, but the stair case and upstairs hallways are outside...very unique! We loved it.

Exactly what we needed to have an amazing time

If you are expecting very high end finishes and ultra modern accommodations, then this place is not for you. However, if you want a place to spend time with a large group of people comfortably, this will fit the bill. Location can not be better. Steps to the beach and to several great restaurants. 10-minute walk to City Square. The A/C was cold and the showers were hot. For the price, it was a good value. You come to Sayulita for the sun and exploring, not to sit in your room. The rooftop had an amazing view!
