Villa Gran Rosa

The house is a perfect pace for a big family. The kitchen is gorgeous and Rosemary is super helpful setting up any extra services you need. Massages, airport transfer, go-carts. Hi highly recommend go-carts for the property but they are so fun to drive back and forth down the hill and make trips to town a quick and easy trip.
Her staff is super responsive to any issues that arise. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Rosemery was a gracious host. She responded promptly and was so sweet to arrange the airport transfer, golf cart rental, and massage at the house! It's a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. The beds were comfortable. Daily cleaning was great as well. Golf carts made the trip up and down to the main part of town easier than walking, but it's a pretty steep and dusty hill. We arranged our day to make the trip less frequent. I would definitely recommend this house!

The house was more than expected. It sits up high on a hill with beautiful views. Pool is perfectly heated. The kitchen is large and well equipped for large groups. The owner Rosemary is fabulous. She is easy to reach and accommodates anything you may need.

This place is beautiful. The pictures don’t do it justice. The best part of the house is the breathtaking view of the town and the ocean from the infinity pool. The main house has 4 bed rooms and you have the option of 2 bungalow equipped with their own stove and fridge. Perfect for big families or a group of friends. Apart from the house, there is so much to do in town which is not that far. Overall had the an amazing time!

I highly recommend this place

From the moment we booked this beautiful home Rosemary was always there answering any questions we had and quick to respond. She booked our transportation, golf carts (I highly recommend golf carts for your entire stay) and even gave us ideas on how to best exchange our US money.
Her beautiful home fit 4 families comfortably for 7 nights in December. We enjoyed having the heated pool, especially in December, the outdoor seating area is where we spent all our time The kitchen is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, and has anything you need. All the rooms in this house were perfect, I loved the upstairs master. The views from Villa Gran Rosa is by far my favorite thing about this house. You can just sit outside and see the city and the ocean, it’s breathtaking. If you are looking for a view from the top of Sayulita, this is the place to stay! We can’t wait to go back and stay.

We had an absolutely spectacular experience at Villa Gran Rosa. I cannot recommend this amazing place enough, for any type of getaway that you need. Every expectation we had was uniformly exceeded. A group of seven old and new friends gathered for a 40th birthday celebration, and we all had very different requirements for this “vacation”: some of us had to work for several days, and some of us needed to shut off from work completely; some of us wanted ample exercise, and some of us wanted complete relaxation by the pool. We all had more than enough space for ourselves, and for gathering. The kitchen is a literal dream, both for cooking and for convening – it’s perfectly equipped with everything you could possibly need to feed a group of people, and the 8-burner Viking range is a thing of beauty. Ultimately, Rosemary’s entire home is stunning (I’ll echo other reviews when I say that photos don’t do it justice), and the location is truly incredible: the views are breathtaking, and the walk up the hill is a great workout – with an outdoor shower and a pool at the end! We would recommend a golf cart for a day or so to shuttle provisions up to the house (and because they’re fun!) but did not feel that one was necessary for our entire stay (although we did plan to only need to walk up the hill once per day). The couple of times that members of our group were not enthusiastic about the hill climb, we were able to find taxis in town to drive us up for about 180 pesos. It was genuinely lovely to come back to such a peaceful place, after enjoying the energy of the enchanting town of Sayulita. Rosemary was so very helpful throughout the booking process, and once we arrived: communicative and responsive, and full of excellent recommendations. She connected us with a wonderful yoga teacher, Thea, who came out to the home to lead a couple of classes for us on the rooftop (at sunset, absolutely magical). Maricela attended to our EVERY need; Rosemary arranged a fishing trip for 6 of us one morning (HIGHLY recommended!!) and Maricela was kind enough to provide our transportation to and from that adventure. She also kept the house immaculate. So very grateful for our time at Villa Gran Rosa, and would go back in a heartbeat.

This is THE place to vacation. Whether you have a large group, or are on a couple's trip, this is the place. The bungalows are comfortable with everything you'd need. Located in the jungle, you will not get tired of the endless scenery that is Sayulita. Nestled at the top of a hill for ultimate privacy! Be sure to take advantage of the lookout point,and prepared to pick your jaw up of the floor.
The plaza is but a shory drive away, via car, foot, or even CanAm. Did I mention the CanAm? The perfect vehicle to get you around the cobblestone streets.
The Casa is impeccable. The pictures are great, but don't do it justice. It is so much greater! The tropical scenery, the privacy, the space,the amenities. The kitchen will make you feel like a five star chef. The plants will make you consider becoming a botanist. Every room is neatly decorated with both local decor and pieces of Pendleton, Oregon. You may,however, look forward to your A/C and king bed at the end of your long, beach day.
As you step onto the patio your are greeted with a breeze and ocean views. An infinity pool invites you in to take a second perspective of the view. Towel off or sunbathe comfortably knowing you have a bar, fridge,speakers, and outdoor shower at your disposal.
The town and locals are all too friendly and welcoming. The food, bars, and community may have you questioning your current living environment.
The property manager and owner will do everything in their power to make sure you have the very best Sayulita experience,within their control. Will always come back!

Wow just wow this home was far more beautiful in person from the moment you open the front door to the size of the home to the absolutely amazing views. Our group fell in love and not to mention the host, she was so great and made things so easy, always available with a fast response. We can’t wait to return.
