Sayulita Jungle Retreat in Sayulita is a Balinese-inspired hideaway tucked into a private jungle enclave.
Located inside a gated tropical compound of 6 authentic Balinese houses and casitas, this retreat offers a unique experience of handcrafted beauty and nature. Built in Bali and imported to Mexico, the main house features stunning carved teak, high ceilings, and a thoughtful open-air design that blends comfort with the jungle atmosphere.
Enjoy a full kitchen, a spacious 30-foot deck overlooking the lush jungle canopy, a patio with BBQ, and a high-ceiling living room with a ceiling fan. The main bedroom includes air conditioning if needed (though winter nights are naturally cool), while the rest of the house stays naturally fresh with fans.
For larger groups or extra space, there is also a classic Balinese casita available on the same property (additional charge). This casita offers one bedroom with two double beds, basic kitchen facilities, a private bathroom with a shower, and a small deck looking out into the jungle — ideal for friends, family, or additional guests seeking a separate, private space.

Beautiful place!
Second time staying here. It's rustic in the most magical jungle way! Love the solitude, the singing tropical birds, close to town but far enough away to feel completely secluded. Some days we walked to town at sunset & Alejandro drove us back, he's an exceptional asset to villa Bali He catered to all our needs from airport transportation, food recommendations, inside knowledge for good surf, showed us other towns with authentic art. He truly made our vacation paradise & the entire experience was relaxing. The walk to beach is short & is a real treat to kindred nature lovers.

Wonderful!
Wonderful, quiet location in the jungle. The hosts and staff on site were helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. We were there in mid May and slept without mosquito nets, with the doors open - no bugs! A great place to escape the hustle of the town. You go to sleep with the sound of the jungle and wake up with the birds. Thank you!

Exactly what we wanted!
This place is a little slice of jungle heaven! The pictures don't do the beauty of the location justice - it really is right in the jungle. Casita #3 is perfect for 2 people not afraid of a glamping vibe...the toilet is indeed in the kitchen, and the entire cabin is rustic but clean and well kept. Getting there from the airport at night was a bit harrowing, definitely have a cab drop you in the Sayulita square because the taxis in town know what they're in for. The nearby beach is perfect and incredibly quiet compared to the beaches in town. There were many times when we had the whole beach to ourselves! The property managers were absolutely incredible. They were in constant communication, had great recommendations, and helped us with a lot of transportation. Pepe even brought us a golf cart and helped us get a ride into PV at the end of our stay. The town is a walkable distance, but quite a hilly hike. Overall, an excellent experience, thank you Villa Bali!
