Casa Kelmar: All the things we loved

1. Safe and secure and private. Definitely the quiet side of town.
2. One block to beach, 6-minute walk to downtown Sayulita. Good restaurants and markets within 2-3 minutes. Coffee and breakfast next door at Bonita. Daily yoga classes there too.
3. Ernesto the house manager. Superman. Can do anything or get anything done. Impressive. Responsive. Booked our rides from airport, assisted in golf cart rental, arranged chef – returned calls or texts if we had a question or needed help with anything.
4. Well taken care of and clean – housekeeper came every day but Sunday. Claudia was fabulous.
5. Bed linens, towels, beach towels all good quality and abundant. Hairdryers.
6. Nice appliances (big Samsung fridge). Kitchen well stocked for cooking. Hired Chef Sirenia for 2 nights. She was fabulous and should have had her more often. She prepares on site, sets table, serves meal, cleans up and packages all leftovers. See Ernesto to book her for your stay.
7. Excellent sliding wall windows to open space completely or close it up for security. Great AC system in each room.
8. Main floor opens completely to outdoor dining table and pool area. Excellent for watching little ones and making PB&J’s. Great family gathering spot all around. Just the right size saltwater infinity pool. It got lots of use.
9. Nice TV area and big comfy sofa. Lots of books, DVD’s and games. TV worked great. Wifi good, we thought, for Mexico. No problems. Everyone was able to get their work done that they needed. Verizon and AT&T worked well.
10. Outdoor shower wonderful for washing sand off everything before coming up to house. Sand toys, beach chairs, umbrellas and surfboards available in garage. We rented a beach wagon to haul stuff to and from beach from Beach Baby. Casa Kelmar does come with a nice highchair and a pack and play.
11. Overall, villa is beautifully decorated and spacious. Delightful. We had such an enjoyable stay.

Guess we have to come back!

Clean, spacious residence, plenty of room for couples and families. Ideal location, walk to all your needs or rent a golf cart cheaply !! Wake up to a soak in the pool with your favorite coffee or hot drink from Don Bonito hotel next door or a beverage of your choice to carry on your lasts nights shenanigans. Walking or gym needs easily met for all levels. All our property needs or questions were handled quickly with a call to property manager Ernesto !!!
and the daily thorough cleaning was like clockwork!!

This is my second year staying at this house and it checks off all the boxes... 3 minute walk to the beach, close to town, comfortable, clean, bright, and decorated beautifully. So awesome! DO IT!

We spent our family Christmas vacation with grown children, spouses, and grandkids at Casa Kelmar. It was absolutely perfect for 9 of us to hang out together or have a quiet spot to relax by ourselves. The house and property is beautiful and spacious. The location is so convenient to the quiet north end of the Sayulita Beach. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. This is such an amazing gem of a vacation rental.

Casa Kelmar checks all the boxes for the perfect family retreat. It is spacious, luxurious, beautiful and private. Just steps from the lovely north beach of Sayulita and walkable to everything in town. Our entire family (7 adults and 2 kids) enjoyed a memorable Christmas here, with lots of space to hang out together on the terrace and saltwater pool or find a quiet spot to read in the yard or upper decks. Large kitchen for cooking family meals like fresh fish from the local fishboats or hiring one of the many chefs in Sayulita to make an authentic Mexican meal. Although everything is walkable, renting a golf cart was great fun and convenient for quick trips to pick up a few groceries or grab croissants at the French bakery for breakfast or explore more of town.
The owner, Kelly was so helpful. The housekeeper and property manager were wonderful, too.

My wife and I have been coming to Sayulita for over 20 years and have realized that there is a check list for finding the perfect rental in the area... How close to the beach, how flat is the area, how close to town is it for convenience, how far from town is it so you don't get blasted with noise all night, etc.. Casa Kelmar hits the sweet spot. It is extremely convenient for getting around but far enough from the action to allow for a relaxing vacation. The home is big, clean and comfortable and the pool is perfect for lounging on a hot day. We cant wait for our next trip to Sayulita and Casa Kelmar!

This was our first trip out of the country with our 4 kids ages 16-7. We also had our moms in tow. We waited two years after having to reschedule due to the onset of Covid and it was well worth the wait! Every single one of us had a fantastic trip. The house was gorgeous, clean, close to the beach and amenities and so well stocked. There is so much room in the house to spread out and have space. The staff were reliable and friendly! The owners were so easy to work with! There’s an adorbale cafe next door with coffee and smoothie to go. Yum. The pool is heated and clean! The beach is across the street. We can’t wait to come back!

Casa Kelmar checks off all the boxes. 4 minute walk to the beach, has all of the modern convinces, great staff, decorated beautifully, and the pool and outdoor area is perfect. I felt safe and taken care of. One of my most favorite trips. This will be an annual thing!!!

There is so much room in this house, with so many wonderful spaces to hang out. The north end location is perfect and the neighbors are great. The house has a water filtration system too. Staff is very helpful and responsive as well. This was my 6th trip to Sayulita, and for larger parties, this is by far my favorite house. I will definitely stay again.
