I surfed for different companies including Reef and Billabong who were my sponsors at that time. I also used to work at Papas Palapas in charge of all the kayak and surfing equipment rentals. Many people would come up to me and ask me for surf lessons which I did on the side. At first my family and I opened the "El Tigre Restauante" off the town plaza and then later on I decided to open the "El Tigre" surf school once I discovered that I could make surf lessons into a business that I really enjoyed. Shortly after that I opened the bar just above the restaurant.
