Fundraisers. It is really heartwarming to see this town working together and raising money for all the great causes here in Sayulita. As all Sayulita homeowners and business owners know, the taxes here are minuscule in comparison to the values and revenue produced by our homes/businesses. Like most of you, I also feel good about attending these events, but also feel obliged to donate to all of these causes since there is minimal tax-based funding in Mexico.
Sayulita has a few more fundraisers coming up this year so please continue to attend these events, bid on the auction items, and support your local community. By working (and donating) together, we can all continue to make Sayulita a perfect place to live and vacation.
Beneficios. Es realmente alentador ver esta pueblo trabajando juntos y recaudar fondos para todas las grandes causas aquí en Sayulita. Sayulita Como todos los propietarios y dueños de negocios saben, aquí los impuestos son minúsculos en comparación con los valores y los ingresos producidos por nuestras casas y empresas. Did you feel a little shaking under your feet on Thursday night? Apparently Sayulita was almost at the epicenter of a small earthquake. No damage or injuries were reported. General info is below but you can see more at the following webpage.

The bookstore, which has been officially reopened Tuesday, February 17th, offers a variety of different reading materials in both Spanish and English for people of all ages plus magazines, maps and travel guides. Also available at the Sayulita bookstore are Vallarta Plus bus tickets going direct from Sayulita to Guadalajara, Jalisco. The Sayulita bookstore offers Spanish lessons with Patricia Duarte as the teacher. Beginner and intermediate classes starting at 4:00pm and 5:15pm from Monday to Thursday cost $55 pesos and walk-ins are welcomed. Patricia also offers conversational lessons to advanced students.
Sandrita's Bakery located inside the book store serves delicious home-made treats and a selection of coffees and teas while you browse through the shop. Sandrita's bakery is open from 8am to 2pm and the bookstore itself is open from 8am to 6pm.
Después de varios meses de lalibrería de Sayulita cerrada, Nancy y Ed Rinas, los nuevos dueños, han vuelto a abrir la tienda nuevamente remodelada. La librería que ha estado abierta oficialmente desde el martes, 17 de Febrero, ofrece una gran variedad de libros en español e ingles y para personas de cualquier edad incluyendo revistas, mapas y guías turísticas. Los boletos del camión Vallarta Plus que va directo de Sayulita a Guadalajara, Jalisco también se venden en la librería. La librería ofrece clases de español para extranjeros con la maestra Patricia Duarte. Hay clases de principiantes y intermedios que empiezan a las 4pm y a las 5:15pm de lunes a jueves y cuestan $55 pesos. Patricia ofrece también clases de conversación para estudiantes mas avanzados.
La panadería Sandrita's esta ubicada adentro la librería y sirve pan dulce, pasteles caseras y una selección de cafés y tes. Sandrita's esta abierto de las 8am a 2pm y la librería esta abierta de las 8am a 6pm.

3. Born in Sayulita? No, I was born in Berugia Italy. I've been living in Mexico for 10 years. I came to Sayulita a year and half ago after living in Playa Del Carmen because my girlfriend knew this area well.

6. What is your favorite meal to eat or prepare in Sayulita? I would have to say my pizzas. I enjoy cooking and the pizzas we make are a traditional recipe. I also enjoy cooking different international cuisines. Our menu at the restaurant includes Mexican food, Thai food and of course Italian.
6. Cual es tu plato favorito de comer o preparer en Sayulita? Tengo que decir que mis pizzas. Me gusta cocinar y las pizzas que preparamos son de una receta tradicional. También me gusta cocinar comidas internacionales. Nuestro menú en el restaurante incluye comida mexicana, tailandesa y italiana claro.
7. Employment/business history. I was an air born officer/lieutenant in the Army back in Italy. After leaving the army I decided to pursue my hobby which is diving. I've been diving since I was 14 years old. I traveled all over Europe and Egypt diving and then I came to Mexico where I was a diver in Playa del Carmen. My girlfriend who is an artist wanted to come to Sayulita so we came here and after years of diving I wanted to do something else and I've always loved cooking. I opened Miro Vino restaurant on the 28th of January of this year.
7. Empleo/Negocio/Ocupación: Era teniente en el ejercito en Italia. Después de dejar el ejercito me dedique a lo que es mi pasatiempo el cual de el buceo. He estado buceando desde los 14 anos. Viaje por todos lados en Europa y Egipto buceando y luego me vine a México para bucear playa del carmen. Mi novia quien es una artista querría venir a Sayulita así que venimos aquí a Sayulita y después de anos de buceo, querría hacer otra cosa y siempre y ha gustado cocinar. Abrí el restaurante Miro Vino el 28 de Enero de este ano.
8. What do you like best about Sayulita? I like that Sayulita is a cool, wild place to be and you never know what to expect the next day. Waking up every morning is different.
8. Que cosa te gusta mas de Sayulita? Me gusta que Sayulita es un lugar tranquilo y chido y nunca sabes que esperar el siguiente día. Despertar todos los días aquí es algo destino cada vez.
9. One piece of advice for someone visiting Sayulita for the first time. I would say just to enjoy Mexico and the surroundings and forget about back home and the mindset of North America and Europe.
9. Algun consejo para una persona que visita Sayulita por primera vez? Diría a cualquiera visitando que disfrute México y lo que esta a su alrededor aquí y que olviden de la mentalidad de Norte America o de Europa.
10 If you could easily change ONE thing in Sayulita, what would it be? I think the town coming together more and uniting together to make necessary changes would be something I'd change. It's difficult for the community to come together and agree about many things.
10. Si pudieras cambiar una sola cosa en Sayuilta, que seria? Creo que el pueblo debería de unirse mas para hacer cambios necesarios, eso es algo que yo cambiaria. Es difícil para la comunidad unirse y ponerse de acuerdo sobre muchos asuntos.
