For four years now, Quiverito Surf Shop has been the only surf shop in town to rent and sell retro, collector, and high performance boards to intermediate and advanced surfers.  With its recent expansion, tripling the size of the shop, they will be adding a few more feathers to their cap.

Marilee Woolace, the very friendly and down to earth owner, will soon be offering several new and exciting services.  For starters, beginning in early October, and again being the first and only in town, she will have storage space to safely and securely accommodate 12 boards of any size, whether SUP or surf.  Seasonal prepaid rates will be available, in addition to daily, weekly, and monthly storage rentals.  Given the current limited parking situation and the chore of loading and unloading boards, or the distance of some homes and the burden of having to carry a large board to the beach, this is a much needed convenience which will soon be available in Sayulita.  No more schlepping of boards will be necessary, as the shop is a half block to the beach.  During the high season, the shop will be open from dawn til dusk, ensuring easy all day access.

In addition, smaller storage lockers will be available for beachgoers’ personal goods, such as laptops and cell phones, with the lockers featuring a cutout in the back to allow such devices to be charged while being stored.  Renters will be given a small numbered pin, attachable to shorts, etc. such as those utilized at spas and saunas, which will allow them to easily access their items.  The lockers will be rented by the hour.  A bathroom will be available for changing prior to or after going to the beach or elsewhere.

Lastly, Quiverito will be partnering with SayulitaWiFi, which will be bringing lightning fast fiber optic public internet access to Sayulita in October.  Quiverito, as the main affiliate, will serve as the sales headquarters where users can sign up and purchase this exclusive wifi service, which will allow them to surf the web, check email, or text on the beach, in the plaza, and eventually throughout the bulk of the downtown area.

Marilee can also serve as a great hook-up and referral service for information on guided surf trips, by car or boat, and tailored to experience level.

Quiverito Surf Shop is located at 12 Marlin, just up from Don Pedro’s.  This street has seen vast improvements, upgrades, and general beautification over the last six months, with many other businesses being added or expanded, in addition to a transition to a generally pedestrian only thoroughfare, with widened sidewalks.
