Cell phone tower in Sayulita Mexico

Telcel has recently installed a new cell phone tower at the top of the hill above the village plaza commonly referred to as "Gringo Hill." The tower is approximately 27 meters (89 ft) tall and has been placed on a 10X10 meter parcel. A new light at the top of the tower casts a red glow from sunset to sunrise.

Cell service is now available from Playa Patzcuaro to San Francisco (San Pancho). Of course, a new Telcel store has opened up in Sayulita, selling a wide selection of cell phones, calling plans, and disposable "minutes" cards.
