Sayulita Beach Cleanup

On Friday, October 21, a Sayulita beach cleanup was organized by Armando Campos Salgado, Sayulita judge, and Cristobal Rodriguez, Sayulita Treasurer (both pictured) in cooperation with Orgullosamente de Bahia, the Mexican Tourist board of the Bahia de Banderas area.

T-shirts and heavy duty trash bags were donated by Orgullosamente de Bahia and give out to all of the volunteers who participated in the event. Most of the volunteers were made up from the Sayulita junior high school (pictured) who seemed very happy with the t-shirts and enjoyed the publicity photo-shoot.

Many thanks to everyone who volunteered their time and help get our beaches ready for the upcoming winter season. Our appreciation also goes out to the Sayulita garbage crew and truck for working overtime that day.

Overall, 30 large bags of trash were collected from the main Sayulita beach as well as an additional 10 bags from Playa de Los Muertos.
