Description

Villa Ocho Estrellas in Sayulita is located in Sayulita's premier luxury development, Punta Sayulita, offering an amazing vacation experience. Located a mile south of central Sayulita, it is the perfect home away from home. The Treehouse design offers a spectacular Palapa over the living room which features a full kitchen, a beautiful perota dining table, and a cozy living area.The infinity pool extends the living experience with spectacular views of the Sayulita bay. It's the perfect place for a special family getaway or a group of friends who want to just hang out and enjoy the beauty of Sayulita. A short video is available upon request!

The indoor/outdoor living room looks over Playa Los Muertos, the town of Sayulita, and the entire coast line that stretches north past the neighboring town of San Francisco (San Pancho). Three air-conditioned bedroom suites are located on the level beneath the great room, joined by an expansive balcony with sweeping bay views. The master suite has a king bed and a on suite bathroom with a shower and the room features a spectacular view of Playa Los Muertos. The guest suites, one with a king bed and the other a queen, share a bathroom. Upstairs there are one more bathroom and another air-conditioned room with a twin over full bunk bed.

The Punta Sayulita community offers 24-hour security guard services, and a beach club that features a restaurant, private beach, dock, two pools, a gym, a TV room, a full and walk or swim up bar (open 9am-6pm). Guests can check out paddle boards, surf boards, and kayaks to enjoy the spectacular Sayulita bay. Villa Ocho Estrellas comes with two parking spots, highly recommend a golf cart.

Your name is required to enter into the gated community of Punta Sayulita. Anyone not on the list, won't be permitted to enter.

Villa Ocho Estrellas is located 1 mile south of Sayulita. It is an easy walk thru the jungle but you SHOULD rent a golf cart during your stay. Our house manager can arrange golf cart rentals (usually $50/day). Golf Cart is not included in nightly fee.

Pricing is in USD per night.

Cancellation Policy

Full refund for cancellations made up to 30 days prior to stay. If the reservation is made less than 30 days prior or arrival, the guests will receive a full refund if canceled within 48 hours of making the reservation and at least 14 days prior to the day of arrival. If cancellation falls outside of this timeframe, the guests receive a 50% refund if the reservation is canceled 7 days prior to arrival. If there are 7 days or less prior to arrival, there will not be any refund issued.

Amazing Views

Very beautiful spot. Very special and unique house. Infinity pool, views and resort were AMAZING! If you are sensitive to sound don’t book during a holiday as sound travels easily to the house.

Incredible Stay

We had a wonderful stay at Ochos Estrellas! When you walk in, the home and view is absolutely breathtaking! It is exactly as advertised. It was perfect for our two families of 4. The home was well equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked, and we appreciated the drinks, condiments and snacks that were left for us. The pool/jacuzzi was perfect after a day in the sun. Communication with the owner Jeff and the house manager Luli was excellent. They did everything to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Our first day there, we were already trying to figure out a time to return. It is definitely our favorite home we’ve stayed in in all of our travels—from the views, comfortable bedrooms and beds, to the secure neighborhood and club house right down the hill. Highly recommend, and we will for sure be back!

Absolutely Breathtaking.

We spent Christmas 2022 at Villa Ocho Estrellas and it was SPECTACULAR. We went in with high expectations, and they were completely blown away. The house was absolutely amazing, the layout is perfect, it had everything we needed...and the view?? Unbelievable. Jeff was great to deal with, quick to provide information and always available. Luli the property manager was excellent -- the best we've ever encountered. She ensured we had everything we needed for our stay and made arrangements for us for airport transfers, dinners, excursions and had a golf cart waiting for us at the house upon arrival (golf cart is necessary!). Luli gave us a lot of comfort that anything we needed she'd be right there to help us out. The Punta Sayulita development is great, staff were extremely friendly, the beach club and restaurant were very nice -- however we spent most of our time in town, which itself was just a short golf cart ride away! We tended to park on the edge of town and walk in as the main part of Sayulita is BUSY! Villa Ocho Estrellas has the best lot in Punta Sayulita and the open concept palapa and infinity pool attached to the main house makes it arguably the best property in all of Sayulita. If you're looking for a place to stay to take your trip to Sayulita to the next level, THIS IS THE PLACE!

Authentic and Unique!

If you are looking for an authentic vacation, this is absolutely the home to choose. Top notch accommodations, authentic village, great food in town, and incredible hosts. This home was one of the most unique homes we’ve ever had a opportunity to visit. Lovely home away from home

This property is truly amazing! The photos are accurate, but they still don't prepare you for how great this home is in person. The living/dining/kitchen with its huge open air palapa sets the stage for the jaw dropping views over the pool and across the bay to Sayulita. The beach club just below the house is equally awesome with a beautiful pool, beach access, bar/restaurant (limited hours), massage studio and spa facilities (steam/jacuzzi/cool plunge). Taking kayaks or stand up paddle boards out to the bay from here is a great way to spend the afternoon. Some other listings are vacation rentals and others are vacation HOMES. This truly is a lovely home that the hosts have outfitted with every convenience and luxury that you would wish for in your own home. We really loved the Sonos sound system, the app based control of the pool temperature, air conditioning in each bedroom, super comfortable beds, quality linens and well outfitted kitchen. That list of features does not really tell the whole story. There are probably a hundred other details in the design/artwork/and furnishings that the owners have incorporated that elevate this property from a house to a home which we discovered over the course of our stay. On site management is provided by the capable and amiable Luli who arranges for anything you might need (chef, massage, golf cart rental, etc.). A quick phone call or text message was all that was needed to summon her expertise. We really adored our stay and hope to return again soon.

Thankful for this place

Charmin, amazing, Phenomenal, etc. We travel, we have been to many lovely spots and homes. From the moment we pulled up in front of the house until the moment we felt like we were in awe of the attention to detail, the uniqueness of the home and the stunning views of Sayulita, not evening considering the Club de Playa which we had access too. Descriptions provided by the host do not do the property justice. We can honestly say the Treehouse is unique and awesome. The on-site manager is super attentive and a great bonus. My entire family wants to go back already and we will. Thank you for putting such a special home on the rental market!

The best experience ever

This was hands-down our best rental experience (out of a lot of great ones!). This house is absolutely amazing--it lived up to the awesome pictures and then some. The open room and the infinity pool are the best places to watch the sun come up, or to chill over a big meal. Our group of 7 had plenty of room to spread out: The bedrooms are spacious and the downstairs porch was the perfect place for yoga. Plus the beach club is a perfect place to wander down to (with a black sand beach and genuinely delicious restaurant) and Sayulita itself is a very easy ride in the golf cart. The best part of all, for us, was the fact that this was incredible, like staying in a resort thanks to the owners, Jeff and Deborah, and the house manager, Laura. Laura helped to arrange EVERYTHING for us, from organizing that yoga, to bringing in a cook for several dinners, to making New Year's Eve restaurant reservations for us, to arranging car service to and from the airport. She was never more than a few seconds answer time away--it was the icing on an already delicious cake. At any rate, our two families will definitely be back, and we can't recommend this gorgeous Sayulita home highly enough!
