Description

Brand new pool and wellness space.

Rancho Poco a Poco in Sayulita is nestled comfortably within a private garden oasis of over an acre of land surrounded by mature palm trees and a variety of other jungle species. With a brand new pool and wellness space Rancho Poco a Poco has become the ideal getaway! The property holds two separate dwellings which were carefully designed with the concept of traditional Mexican hacienda meets contemporary craftsmen to create a safe harbor of tranquility in the middle of the tropical jungle; yet is situated only minutes away from the famous surf break and beaches of the bohemian village of Sayulita and the bustling good times of local restaurants, bars, and shopping mercados.

The Hacienda

The original Hacienda transports you back in time with the traditional red clay roof tiles over a long shaded veranda with exposed wooden beams as seen in the days of old colonial Mexico. The covered outdoor kitchen is fully equipped for group meal preparations or optional chef-prepared dinners on-site which may be shared and enjoyed at the antique wooden communal dining table under the veranda equipped with numerous ceiling fans for airflow. The open-air living space adjacent to the dining area offers plenty of comfortable seating to allow time to enjoy the ambiance of the garden views while taking the first morning coffee or indulging in long conversations and sipping specialty tequilas and mezcals as sampled by ¨catadores¨ or expert tasters as requested.

The bedrooms of the Hacienda consist of four large and spacious rooms each with its own separate entry, private bathroom, and are fully accommodated with air conditioning, black-out blinds, and internet access.  Each situated to look out onto the open garden space from the large windows, all four bedrooms are spacious yet cozy; brought to life with a unique perspective of the local flora and fauna with custom-designed abstract art wall murals and complimented by a collection of bedding, plants, and artwork collected from across Mexico that are combined together to create a distinctive feel that you won't find anywhere else.  Each bedroom is equipped with the option of two twin beds or an easy conversion to a king size bed on custom designed wheeled bed frames with clothing storage. The exception being one bedroom that offers the additional sleeping space of a private alcove equipped with a loft bed matrimonial/ twin bed combination. The total sleeping capacity of the Hacienda is spacious enough for ten guests to rest comfortably.

The Villa

The Villa recently completed construction in 2019 and presents with a modern zen atmosphere while having all the comforts of a well-appointed home. No details were overlooked in the design of this peaceful space which can comfortably accommodate six people for sleeping in one of the three master suites while offering plenty of room to spread out in the serene and quiet spaces provided by the adjacent yoga studio/greenery room along with the lounge zone complemented by two custom-designed sleeping daybeds set off the kitchen space.

Two of the three master suites are located on the second level of the villa and hold king-size beds complete with bedding and textiles from Oaxaca and artwork from numerous regions of Mexico adding warmth and color while reminding you of the beautiful culture that is Mexico. The third master suite is located at garden level and also features a king-sized bed with all of the same customized design features of quality bedding and artwork throughout to allow for the feeling of being comfortably nurtured in your home away from home. Additionally, each master bedroom suite has its own spacious bathroom brightened by unique specialty concrete tiles from Guadalajara and are equipped with on-demand hot water so that you can enjoy a luscious shower after your ocean swim or jungle hike.

The kitchen of the Villa is equipped with a full-size oven, gas cook top, and a dishwasher which are not often found in vacation rentals.  The spectacular views of the surrounding jungle offer a lovely backdrop for meal preparation while standing next to the granite counter tops and utilizing the essentials of the well appointed kitchen. Of course, if you would prefer to have someone do the cooking for you, there is also the option of bringing in a private chef to prepare delicious meals ranging from Mexican/Asian fusion to Italian to Vegetarian and beyond while you kick back on the ample deck adjacent to the kitchen and enjoy taking life slow under the beautiful shade trees listening to the birds chirp in the distance.

If you happen to be traveling as a work retreat and would like to show a media presentation or are just simply interested in having a space where you can relax with the AC and a good movie, a "secret pathway" off the side of the kitchen will lead you to a cozy media room where you can tuck away from the day and watch Netflix to your heart´s content on the comfortable leather couch and big fluffy beanbag. There is also a desktop computer available for a quick log-in.

And finally, as you continue out of the media room and walk down the set of stairs down to the ground level, you will find yourself next to the water fountain which plays the background musical subtleties of cascading water for the tranquil bodywork treatment room equipped to accommodate private massage and a variety of health and healing modalities as brought to you by highly skilled professionals of the Sayulita community as requested.

A beautiful experience awaits you at Rancho Poco a Poco Estate in Sayulita, where little by little, you relax into the slow pace of life and enjoy the beauty of the natural elements that surround you. We are more than happy to help you experience an adventure like never before including the sacred ceremony of a shaman led temazcal or a ¨sweatlodge¨ as they are known in the United States. We are also able help organize guided tours to discover the plethora of amazing hikes and natural treasures that surround the vicinity, connect you with fishing and whale watching tours and more.

Fantastic retreat space for a life changing week in a sacred container
The rooms were all well arranged and decorated, really comfortable beds, great outdoor kitchen space for family-style buffet meals. The pool was clean, pristine and the grassy grounds a pleasure to roll around in. The temazcal was an incredible and authentic experience!

Beautiful jungle ranch in the outskirts of town
Hosted our retreat a couple months ago at Rancho Poco a Poco.
The facilities are great, big shala, pool, gardens, rooms and great staff.
One of my favorite things is that they have a Temazcal on-site.

Would totally recommend for anyone looking for a venue to host a wellness event/retreat.

Beautiful, Peaceful Ranch - Perfect for my Yoga Class!
Rancho Poco A Poco is not only stunning in every sense, but the family that runs it is even better! The facilities are gorgeous, with all new furnishings, spacious rooms, family style kitchen and communal area, a big pool, and landscaping that honors Mexican architecture blended with the beautiful nature of Sayulita.

I taught my yoga class here with around 30 participants and they were fully equipped. Mats, blocks, weights, the whole 9-yards. Not to mention the space is on the second floor so there is a nice breeze, as well as curtains to block out the sun or let in more light. So peaceful!

The property management is also excellent. Any question was immediately answered with warmth and care. 10000/10 I will be back again!

TAKE ME BACK!
What a wonderful stay! The property was a beautiful oasis that had everything we needed. My guests were blown away from the moment they walked through the door (some of them didn't want to leave!). Caleb was fantastic in making sure we had what we needed and checked on us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. It was my second time returning to the ranch and I plan to go back again real soon!

Amazing venue for hosting a physician heal thyself retreat!
Brought an intimate group of medical professionals into the jungle for deep self care and comaraderie. The container was perfect for rest and rejuvenation but also self exploration and many joyful moments. Great location for being away from the hustle and bustle but close enough for an easy walk into town. The night skies and talks and laughter around the fire was balm for the soul. We loved the ability to prepare group nourishing meals, see each other out of the Zoom Room, and create lasting friendships. Already planning a future retreat! Thank you!

A perfect and amazing place hosted by perfect and amazing people!
This place is absolutely incredible! We rented the entire property for our wedding and stayed with family and friends for a week. It is out of the busy hustle of Sayulita town so you can enjoy some piece, quiet and relaxation, but still close enough to be very convenient when you want to go enjoy Sayulita’s food, fun and nightlife.

The property and houses on it are gorgeous! Everything is so clean and well kept. The staff helped us with anything we needed and both the caretakers Victor and Erika were so friendly and welcoming.

I also cannot speak more highly of the owners. Caleb helped me with booking and answered all of my many questions. He was very responsive and I never felt a lack of communication. He even helped with wedding planning along with giving me amazing referrals for vendors and businesses which lead to an incredible wedding and party! We had the wedding and reception right on the property and we could not have asked for a better venue. To our surprise we found out he is a talented photographer as well. He even ended up photographing the wedding for us and we loved the photos so so much!

Caleb’s mom Amy was just as wonderful. She greeted us and gave us the grand tour so we knew exactly where everything was and how to enjoy it. She went way over and beyond by cleaning out a small room they had closed off to guests that they were using as personal storage just so we could use it as an outdoor bar and food area for our celebrations. It was a lot of work to clear everything out and she came herself and had it done before I even woke up the first morning.

I have never experienced hosts for a vacation rental anywhere I’ve ever been that treated me as well as Caleb and Amy did. They made my family and I feel like we were a part of their family. Thank you both so much for everything you did! We will never forget our experience and you will always be a big part of those cherished memories!

So basically if you aren’t sure where to choose to spend your vacation you do now. Choose Rancho Poco a Poco. Whether you’re renting a single unit or the entire property this place will not disappoint you.

Our family moved here based on a dream. The desire to live and immerse into the Mexican lifestyle and culture, the desire to experience an entirely different feel from that of the U.S. We have traveled to many places across the world such as Europe, Asia, Africa, Central America and have found ourselves in love with what Mexico has to offer. We are all originally from Colorado and have been loving the tropical climate and la vida Mexicana! Over the years we have all grown fond of separate and amazing things that Mexico has to offer. Hazel, the youngest of our family has the privilege of riding and training with horses, Luke has found his niche and helps people who fall in love with Mexico to find their dream home, Amy has a desire for bringing emotional and spiritual clarity through cohesive and powerful experiences such as the temezcal structure and it's ceremonies. And I Caleb can speak for all of us when I say we really enjoy how beautiful Mexico is, the rich history and cultural events such as Dio De Los Muertos, Semana Santa, Navidad and countless others are captivating. The surf breaks draw me in and the friendly and easy-going vibe has created a home that we all enjoy. We are very glad that you have chosen to stay with us and look forward to creating unforgettable positive memories. ¡Bienvenidos a su casa!
