AzulPitaya is a beach hotel in Sayulita with only 60 units located on top or bottom floor of a two story construction building.

Our layout of the hotel is all curved because we kept all trees from the original land with a beautiful design intended to preserve nature; our grounds are full with lush and vegetation, watch for local birds and iguanas inside the hotel.

The hotel is located in front of the famous Sayulita surf break and within walking distance to all restaurants and shops but without feeling like in the middle of the hassle.

Best hotel in Sayulita!

Best hotel in Sayulita! Perfect location right on the beach and very close to the town center. You can do everything on foot. The hotel is totally immersed in nature. A place full of plant and animal life. The pool is perfect, full of birds and iguanas walking around the hotel, a real spectacle. The rooms are comfortable, large, clean and airy. Everything perfect. As is the staff who work at the hotel. I can't wait to go back to this paradise.

Excellent value for money.

Excellent value for money, it has a lovely pool and nice touches like hammocks. The reception staff are very attentive and offer great recommendations.

Total peace and tranquility in this place.

This place will offer you total peace and tranquility. Excellent facilities for relaxing, swimming, and eating. The rooms aren't luxurious, but they are very comfortable and in excellent condition, ensuring a good night's sleep and cleanliness. I will definitely return with my family and/or friends.
P.S. Beach access is direct, but the rocks make it difficult to swim in the water.

One day into my stay and I was already happy

I almost did not book this hotel because of some of the negative reviews I read here, but after checking in and spending my first day, my experience has been completely different. The room I received is extremely clean, well prepared, and has all the amenities that were shown in the listing. The view is beautiful, and the overall atmosphere of the place is calm and pleasant. The staff has been very friendly and welcoming since check in.
Some reviews mention the sewage plant nearby. Personally, I have not smelled anything at all so far, and it seems likely that if it happens, it is occasional and depends on wind or specific maintenance procedures. I do not think the hotel should be judged entirely on that. Parking is what it is in Sayulita.. many places in town have similar limitations.. so that did not surprise me.
I am only one day into my stay and already very happy with the experience, and I am looking forward to the next couple of days here.
As a business owner myself, I believe it is important to leave positive feedback when a place deserves it. Sometimes negative reviews can come from very specific personal frustrations and may not reflect the full picture. So far, my experience has been very positive, and I am glad I decided to stay here.

Great little hotel right on the beach

Great little hotel right on the beach. Love the pool. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. They made up part of the couch as a bed for our kiddo :)

Amazing week at AzulPitaya!

Our whole family had an amazing week at AzulPitaya! everything was so clean, rooms were huge, pool area was amazing, beachfront breakfast was delicious, the staff was so nice and friendly, perfect beachfront location close walking distance to downtown Sayulita. Shout out to Rosario for being extra awesome.
