Description

Casa Colibri at Selva Maaku in Sayulita is a spacious, serene 2-bedroom jungle home tucked into the lush hillside just outside town. Here you wake to birdsong, the sun shines almost every day, and the pace slows the moment you arrive. It's an easy place to settle in, whether you're after a quiet getaway, a family vacation, or a peaceful place to work remotely in the Riviera Nayarit.

The home sits within a gated, low-density residential community with 24/7 controlled access, so you get privacy and peace of mind while staying close to the action. It's just 5 minutes by car or about 15 minutes on foot from the south entrance of Sayulita, which puts downtown restaurants, shops, and beaches within easy reach. Guests also have access to the community's clubhouse with a swimming pool and multipurpose palapa, a lovely spot to swim, relax, or meet up with friends.

Spread across three storeys, the house gives everyone plenty of room. The living room and dining area, seating six, open to a full kitchen with an island that seats four, so you can prep breakfast, pour a drink, and chat all at once. A guest bathroom on the social level keeps things convenient when friends come over.

We enjoyed staying there and would do so again.

The host was responsive, the house is beautiful. Fairly close to downtown Sayulita. It is walkable (our son did do 2-3 times), but most would rent a car/golf cart or take taxis. We went to 4 different beaches, all lovely. We enjoyed staying there and would do so again.

I had never seen such a complete rental.

I loved staying with Jessica. She has everything you need to have a good weekend. I had never seen such a complete rental. The service was excellent, and the place is very nice. The area is very quiet and not far from downtown Sayulita. I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was excellent. Casa Colibrí is a little paradise that makes you feel at home. The place completely exceeded our expectations: everything was impeccable, comfortable and with incredible service from the host and co-host, who were always very friendly and attentive to every detail.
In addition, they were very considerate in allowing us to check in before the established time and also to check out a little later, which we greatly appreciated.
Definitely a highly recommended place that we would be happy to return to. Thank you so much! 😊
