Description

Casa Tacaná in Sayulita is a quiet, stylish property located on the North side of town in the private and highly sought after Monterosa Condominiums. This 3 bedroom, 2 level condo is conveniently located two minutes from the north end of Sayulita beach and a short 10 minute walk to the centre.

Flooded with natural light, Casa Tacaná boasts over 2,500 square feet of living space and was designed as a place to create long lasting memories. You will enjoy incredible ocean views and epic sunsets from one of two private balconies and take in all the beauty from the oversized saltwater infinity pool. From the cozy beds, to the locally sourced art and handmade local furniture, no corner of this property was left unthought.

Bedrooms: Two Primary King bedrooms (one on each level) plus a third bedroom. Both Primary King bedrooms include 1 King sized bed, an en suite bathroom and luxurious soft linens. The third bedroom has 1 double bed and 1 twin bed to allow for plenty of sleep space. All Bedrooms including the living room are equiped with ceiling fans and AC to keep everyone comfortable during their stay.

Amenities: Take in the beautiful surroundings of this fully gated property while you relax at the salt-water infinity pool with plenty of lounge chairs, umbrellas and towels or enjoy a match at the shared grass tennis court! As a part of our 5 Star service, we include a daily cleaner who will help keep things tidy for you so that you can focus on enjoying your beautiful vacation!

Guest access

Our Property managers Ashley and Ben are very helpful and will help you with the booking process, greet you and answer any questions. They are fluent in English and Spanish. They also live in Sayulita and well be a great resource for you during your stay!

Guests can access the entire Casa and common area with pool as well as the shared tennis court.

Such a great time in Casa Tacana!

We had such a great time! It was far enough from the louder parts of Sayulita, but close enough to walk and very close to a couple really good food options. The place was clean, the pool was refreshing and our entire family had a blast. If you don’t like walking I would suggest renting a golf cart.

A relaxing getaway with amazing views!

We had such a wonderful stay here! The views from both balconies were absolutely incredible, especially the upper balcony as we spent most of our time relaxing up there and soaking it all in. The sunsets were stunning, and the outdoor shower on the upper balcony was such a fun and unexpected bonus.
The space itself was very clean and well cared for. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, which made it easy to cook during our stay. We even grilled local fish one night on the barbecue, which was a highlight.
The host was also fantastic and very responsive and helpful whenever we needed anything, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with amazing views!

Great Views

Stayed at Monterosa at Casa Tacana and had a wonderful time. I have stayed at Monterosa before and there is a lot of construction in front of the complex right now, but Casa Tacana is sheltered from most of the construction noise due to its location.
We arrived in the early evening, exhausted from our trip. It was a bit tricky finding the unit, I entered through the main back gates and should have entered from the smaller southern gate. But we found it eventually. After we unloaded our luggage and groceries, we treated ourselves to a meal at the hotel across the street on the beach. Then went back and had the best sleep in the super comfy beds.

The unit is very spacious, the lower balcony off the kitchen/living area is private and great for barbecuing and bird watching. The upper balcony is also spacious and has distant south, west views and beautiful sunsets. The outdoor shower was a treat, and we used the upper bedroom area as a day bed for reading and napping.

Berenice comes daily around 11am and does a tidy (except Sunday which is her day off). Not something that I am used to at a short-term rental, but she was extremely sweet and in the end I appreciated the daily clean up.

The kitchen in the unit is very basic. Just an electric range and basic cooking utensils. There are some smaller appliances available in the lower cabinets. The water pressure in the showers is excellent, I'm use to low flow plumbing fixtures, so it was tempting to spend a lot of time in there, but I tried not to since we were reminded to conserve water. It would be great to get some better bath products, the Kirkland shampoo turned my hair into a large fuzz ball and the conditioner was useless. I recommend anyone with longer hair to bring their own products.

The location of the rental is quiet but also close to downtown, which is busy and loud (especially during Superbowl). David (our host) responded quickly when needed and gave us some good recommendations.

This condo is gorgeous! My favorite thing was the outdoor shower with a view. It was far enough from town to be quiet but close enough for restaurants and fun. David in particular was very communicative and extremely quick with responses. We had one little hiccup which was remedied by the time we were back from dinner. We loved Sayulita and loved this condo. Hope to come back soon!

Loved the Top Deck view.

Location is great, beautiful sweeping views and a two-minute walk to the beach. About a 5-10 minute walk to town. We LOVED the top deck with the outside shower. We are a family with adult children and it was a great spot for us.
They also have daily cleaning which I think is a rare treat for a rental.
Having said that, I had invited my 80-year old mother and in the end was glad she wasn't able to make the trip as a caveat for this location is that it really isn't a great one for someone with any limited mobility, lots of narrow stairs and uphill walking (although, you could help a bit with a golf cart rental for your stay)

The management company was also great and was really hustling to get us sorted out, I appreciated their efforts. One other thing to note when looking for a rental, the kitchen, is really more of a kitchenette by my standards, no dishwasher, no standard oven, supplies are minimal, etc.

We can’t wait to return.

This was our first visit to Sayulita. Our host, David, really helped us prepare and made us super excited about going and he was absolutely, spot on! The location of this condo is great being on the north side and quieter area of Sayulita. The beach is less than a 2 minute walk and there are multiple access points from the road leading to the condo. There were 3 beach chairs and umbrella stocked in the home for guests to use which we used on a daily basis as we rented a car and explored other beaches. We always felt safe. The condo itself is very spacious with beautiful outdoor decks. You can hear the waves even with the windows closed at night! We loved that. The 3 bedrooms all had comfortable beds. Just note there is no tv in the main living room area, only in one bedroom downstairs. Not an issue but something to note. We ate out for all our meals because the restaurants in Sayulita are amazing and David has the best recommendations! We can’t wait to return.
