Cancellation Policy

You're eligible for a full refund as long as you notify us at least 60 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. If you cancel within 60 days, we’ll do our best to rebook the casita for your dates. If we are able to find a replacement booking, we’ll refund your payment minus any transaction or processing fees. If we’re unable to rebook the casita, the deposit will unfortunately be non-refundable.

Welcome to Casita Camila Studio – A Private Ocean View Loft in Sayulita

Tucked away at the top of Gringo Hill, just a few minutes from Sayulita’s main beach and vibrant town plaza, Casita Camila's two-story Studio Apartment with ocean views offers a loft style space with 4-meter high ceilings surrounded by lush tropical greenery. Whether you're enjoying your morning coffee on the balcony, sunning on the private rooftop terrace up above, working outside on the landing, this is the perfect place to relax, recharge, and feel at home.

The Space

Casita Camila's Studio is a unique and cozy two-story tiny house above a garage, with artistic touches and natural elements throughout. A stairway plus outdoor caracol go up to the studio. Another caracol goes up to the roof terrace. All have handrails. Step into your 4-meter high private space featuring:

A king-size bed with quality linens, plus a fold-out double sofa bed
A large marble table on the balcony, built-in cement bar counter with stools, sofa with glass coffee table, all are ideal for remote work as the wi-fi modem is right there
A fully equipped kitchenette with a microwave, large toaster oven, large refrigerator, coffee makers, and essentials for light cooking
Purified water is provided in large bottles (garafones)
A modern curved bathroom with shower and sink
A private terrace up abpve with seating, perfect for sunning, lounging or working outdoors
A private "landing" between floors with chairs and small table for coffee y email
Designed by owner with high ceilings and polished cement ("Palito")
Overhead fans inside and on the balcony; IF you use AC, long-term guests pay their own actual electricity usage from a separate bi-monthly CFE bill they'll see.

We prioritize monthly or multi-week reservations, but may accommodate shorter stays (7-night minimum) when availability allows—feel free to inquire.

Wonderful stay!

Jan met us despite a late night arrival to ensure we were informed and comfortable...her communication was thorough and timely...she even found us a pet sitter so we could go boating and snorkeling. The climb up Gringo Hill was helpful in ensuring we could eat and drink all the flavours México has to offer...
Despite being high season and the Sayulita Festival, the nightly noise from the town was well muffled in the cozy casita! Thanks Jan, Cmailla, Sydney and Tofu!

Excellent stay

Excellent stay after a month in the house. Clean, well equipped and very pleasant to live in. Everything was as described. In addition, the owner is taking great care of her tenants.

A wonderful stay! Overall the location was excellent. It’s definitely an uphill climb back so I was very grateful for the golf cart on many occasions. I worked remotely and WiFi was excellent, easy to do everything I needed. With the spot above town, you do hear a good bit of noise but I found that a white noise machine took care of that. In the mornings chachalaca birds do wake you up so that helps with that too! The area is well thought out, and the pool s great for some late morning/early afternoon sun. If you need more getting to the beach is easy. Perfect for 1-2 people.

Quite Oasis

Casita Camila is centrally located on Gringo Hill, just a short hike up the hill from the main square and off the main Punta Mita Road. You'll have everything you need for a short or long stay. The kitchen is fully equipped to make meals. The bed is very comfortable. The pool is relaxing although I didn't get a chance to enjoy it as much as I would have liked. Morgan lives onsite and is available to answer any questions or give a helping hand. She even gave me a ride down to the Friday Farmer's market.

Highly Recommend

Casita Camila is like an elegant grotto, a luxurious yet rustic space artfully designed. It’s a cool retreat from bright Sayulita sun, the accommodation and waterfall pool balm for eyes and body.
The living space is very clean, well stocked for the traveller and a quiet location near the top of Gringo Hill.
Morgan has been in the styling and condition of the place, in her approach, very detail focused. She is responsive to email communications with inquiries. She is direct and no nonsense, what you see is what you get.
There are two wonderful animals, Camila (dog) and Sidney (cat). They are as present as you want them to be. Sidney and I enjoyed some warm cuddles during my stay.
I appreciated that Morgan was kind and flexible in accommodating my departure schedule, taking the stress out of a busy day.
Be prepared for power cuts/loss of internet for hours at a time during high season. I stayed 4 weeks, it was only the last days this happened.

Everything was perfect!

We can’t say enough amazing things about Morgan’s place. It’s stunning, rambling, comfortable. It stays beautifully cool with the fans and the dipping pool is the perfect way to cool off before bed! It is so lovely to be so close to town but in a quiet area with the local chicken and burro and bird sounds.
