Casa Compadres in Sayulita is a four-bedroom, four-bathroom villa of rare elegance, designed by acclaimed architect Jose Enrique del Valle and positioned to deliver sweeping Pacific views, vivid sunsets, and one of the most coveted addresses in town — close enough to everything, far enough to actually sleep at night.

Step through the charming antique front door and you're immediately in a different world. A dramatic open stairwell rises through the heart of the house, lit by three stunning chandeliers, drawing you upward to the four air-conditioned bedrooms on the upper floor. Each room flows seamlessly onto its own generous private terrace with views of the ocean and the village below — the kind of views that make you reach for your camera before your coffee. From the rooftop patio, the perspective opens even further: Monkey Mountain to the east, the Pacific stretching to the horizon to the west, and during the right season, dolphins leaping and whales breaching in the distance. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay in Sayulita. Beautiful house, views, pool. Pretty much everything you could ask for in a vacation home. House is on the north side of Sayulita which is more laid back than the downtown area. Easy walk down the hill to the beach, house was equipped with beach umbrellas, beach chairs, towels which was really nice. The house is on a hill so it’s a bit of a climb coming back from town, but you could always rent a golf cart if that was an issue. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at Casa Compadres

The host was excellent, very helpful and responsive! The house itself is fantastic and is an oasis where it is easy to relax , rest and enjoy the Mexican sunsets. It is spacious and has everything you need, a lovely pool and a couple of great terraces. I will definitely stay again the next time I return to Sayulita.

All and all we loved the place and the surroundings

Beautiful building with lots of space! Loved the pool and the place was spotless and clean. Loved the location which was close to the action but peaceful. Older people might want a golf cart as the hill was pretty steep. I am 78 and walked it several time a day with no problem. Lovely bedrooms with in suite bathrooms all separate for privacy. All and all we loved the place and the surroundings. Would definitely stay here again. Also check in and out was smooth and effortless . Arranged pickup at the airport and back was great.

A+ experience at Casa Compadres

We had such a great experience. Kevin is such a great host and was super responsive from when we were booking to our time in the house. The house is super clean and well equipped with towels, safes, and everything we needed. Cesar, the concierge, was so nice and was always just a few minutes away if we had any questions.

Perfect House - Amazing week in Sayulita

We had a large group of friends celebrating a Birthday in Sayulita. We were so lucky that Casa Compadres was available for the week we were visiting.

We loved the layout, spacious rooms and amazing pool. The house was very clean and had everything we needed.

It was an easy walk to town and restaurants. And very close to the beach.

We will definitely be back!

Great host...a real life saver

We visited Casa Compadres in February with three other couples, and we had a blast! Casa Compadres is a well-maintained rental home with a comfortable pool for lounging in the afternoon and a lovely upper deck for evening drinks. Cesar, the concierge, was very friendly and helped us with all our questions and in-town needs.

Kevin and Cesar went the extra mile during our stay. We ran into some flight schedule issues during our visit, and they addressed our issues with grace and fairness. We appreciate their willingness to work with us as we tried to rebook flights for the next day.

Highly recommend a stay here.

We were happy that we chose Casa Compadres!

We had a very comfortable 10-night stay in Casa Compadres. Everything was easy, from the booking, to the check out and everything in between. The host has local people who take care of the day-to-day at the home, and we found them reliable and non-intrusive. It is a 3-story home with a large rooftop patio; three of the four bedrooms are large en-suites, with good AC. (The fourth bedroom is very small, and accessed via one of the two bedrooms on the second floor.) The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, and there are also many restaurants and small markets within a 5-10 minute walk. The yard is lush and the pool is in great condition - comfortable and private. Parking is easy with a spot ‘reserved’ right in front of the house. You will hear roosters in the morning and sounds of the town throughout the day - we enjoyed feeling part of it all, while being a block or two from the liveliest parts of town. We were happy that we chose Casa Compadres!

I would definitely rent this house again!

Having not been to Sayulita before I didn’t realize how nice it is to be far enough away from the sounds of the town but close enough to easily walk to everything. The house has a great layout and it was a plus to have a pool to come back to after a long day at the beach! The outdoor area - terraces and yard were lovely. A great way to get the day started - having a coffee looking out at the ocean view from the upper terrace. I would definitely rent this house again!

My family can't recommend this VR enough! We had such a wonderful stay. It is walking distance to bars, restaurants, and the beach. House is lovely and clean. 5 stars for sure!!
