Great service, lovely place, quiet, and everything is very close by.

We booked a 1-Week Stay this year, and seeking to support local, we booked through Sayulita Life. I have traveled all over the world and in Mexico and I understand this is a beach stay and a small town, but there were some unacceptable moments especially for the price which is the same as any other updated, newer, luxury rental in town. We made it through the week, but there were many times we thought about going somewhere else due to the many issues we had here. If you are bothered by heat, bugs, aggressive dogs, noisy doors, do not stay here. Our comfort levels were the same as glamping or a hostel.

Facilities: Kitchen is great, beds and couches were very comfy. Downstairs bathroom the water stayed hot in the shower which was great. But the doors on rooms and bathrooms are medieval chamber doors and basically wake everyone up each time you open or close them and you have to keep them closed to keep in A.C. so it is a lot of opening and closing.

Location: 5 Stars on Location. Really close to several amazing beaches, but you need a cart to get to them as well. It is on a medium sized hill, walkable, but we had to get a cart. It is hard for drivers to find due to a road being closed behind the house it tries to route you to.

Cleanliness: 3/5. Downstairs was fine. Upstairs was not ok. The upstairs bathroom is unusable. There is barely a drop from the shower on water pressure or the sink. It was dirty, and unusable. The water pressure is so bad the toilet barely flushes. In the 100 degree heat, it was so smelly and gross to use, not to mention, ZERO privacy with the construction workers up against the bathroom all day. The upstairs was also really hard to cool down and pretty hot the whole time and I found rat droppings on the bed every day along with various bugs appearing. The downstairs bedroom my friend woke up to a huge roach on his face.

Safety: 4/5 Besides the neighbors aggressive dog, we felt safe. I had my dog with us and on arrival the neighbor's dog chased us up the stairs to the door snarling and growling and barking. We hadn't checked in and found the key yet so this was extremely scary and I genuinely felt we were going to be attacked. There is no fence for the neighbor or our pool and share a driveway so we were fearful every time we left, were at the pool, or had to take our dog outside. My dog even got a UTI from being so scared to go back outside after this and holding their pee all week. Not to mention it took 2-days to hear back and get a response that the neighbor would keep her dog inside during our stay.

Communication: We had safety issues with the neighbors aggressive dog and it took 2-days to get a response via email (which was given as the preferred messaging). It also took a while to hear back on cart recommendations. Otherwise, once we switched to Whatsapp, they wre fairly responsive.

Cart: A normal golf cart died on this hill day 1 and we had to get a new one. Get the big Ranger.

Wifi/Power: WiFi is good to WFH. We did lose power for an entire half day for most of the town.

Construction: There is a house being built right next door. The noise isn't too bad and they start around 9 AM, but it sounds like they are inside the upstairs bathroom which is open air, so they can hear everything.

Pool: it was nice to have a big pool, but it smells like straight bleach is being used and it was extremely hot. 85 degrees in the pool.

Staff: Cleaners are required to come 3x per week, landscaping is required and you are required to tip them. We asked for the cleaners not to come and they basically told us we had to have them come so they'd get paid. Why are guests paying for the landscaping and cleaners outside of the rate?

Great house! Easy to walk to stores and both beaches and next to a couple cute coffee shops. 10/10 recommend!

We had a great experience staying in this beautiful Casa. The staff are very helpful, the pool is amazing for daily swims. The birds were fascinating to watch & listen to. The kitchen is great & well equipped , beds are comfy & quiet sleeps Everything was super! Would go back on a heart beat! Thank you for making our stay memorable!! 🏖️🌮🌶️and we walked to the beach everyday!!

Beautiful place, stunning colours and great pool!

The house is in a nice quiet location, with nice views. It is also close to town and two different beaches. The pool is fantastic and was much appreciated during our June stay. Inside the house we had everything we needed, such as comfortable beds, cool a/c, and a kitchen stocked with any items we needed to prepare meals.
The grounds are vast and lovely. Everything was well maintained and cared for. We will definitely be back.

We loved staying here. The property and the house was beautiful, cozy, well thought out, and very well maintained. It had great energy and we felt right at home immediately. The walk up to the house was a small hill, that was minimal compared to some other places in Sayulita and the beds were all very comfortable. Really easy walk to town and quiet and night. The best of all worlds.
