Description

Casa Orion in Sayulita is a four-bedroom private villa on the quiet north side of town, just a 3-minute walk from the beach and an easy stroll from Sayulita's restaurants, shops, and surf. With ocean views from every bedroom and the main living areas, and a private saltwater infinity pool that frames every sunset, it's the kind of place that's hard to leave — and equally hard to forget.

Filled with local art and striking architectural details, the villa blends Mexican charm with modern comfort. Open living spaces flow naturally between indoors and out, with tropical garden views on all sides and terraces off every room. The fully equipped kitchen handles everything from a quick breakfast to a full group dinner, with an outdoor grill for evenings you'd rather eat outside. Reverse osmosis drinking water, high-speed Wi-Fi, a smart TV, secure parking, and an in-home safe round out the essentials.

The infinity pool is the centerpiece of outdoor life at Casa Orion — recently updated with Spanish tile and a playful turtle mosaic, it includes a shallow area perfect for younger guests and wide views stretching toward Monkey Mountain and the horizon. Lounge chairs, alfresco dining, and steady ocean breezes make it easy to spend entire days without going anywhere at all.

All four bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, private terraces, air conditioning, and ceiling fans. Three rooms have king beds; one has a queen. A queen sofa bed in the living room accommodates up to 10 guests total, though the villa is ideally suited for 8. The open layout makes it easy for groups to gather or spread out as the mood calls for.

Bilingual property manager Melissa will welcome you on arrival and is available throughout your stay to arrange anything you need — transportation, golf carts, private chef services, spa treatments, childcare, tours, and more.

A long-time local team handles housekeeping four days a week. One small note: Tozey, the resident cat, may make a friendly appearance — lovely for most guests, though worth knowing if anyone in your group has allergies.

Casa Orion is fantastic!

Casa Orion is fantastic! 👏🏻 It's a beautiful house with views that are absolutely worth it—the sunsets are incredible! Melissa was always attentive and very kind. Tere and Miguel, the cleaning staff, were also very kind and friendly.
The house is super well-equipped! It makes you feel right at home. It has tons of board games, a grill, and a gorgeous pool. Everything was spotless.
The area is very quiet. We had a wonderful family vacation!

Wonderful vacation thanks to Casa Orion.

We had the most wonderful vacation here. The host was incredibly kind, the house and setting was beautiful, and the town was so fun. We’d highly recommend Charlie’s place to anyone thinking of traveling to Sayulita- it was one of our best rentals to date !

Stunning house. Stunning views.

Casa Orion was absolutely perfect for our trip with a group of friends to Sayulita! The house is stunning and the pool is one of the best views we’ve ever seen. Melissa was extremely helpful to organize rides, chefs, golf carts, etc. Highly recommend getting a golf cart to bop around! We will miss Toszie the house cat and all the magical birds sounds you wake up to in the morning!

Excellent trip, cant wait to come back!

We had the most magical week at Casa Orion! The views are absolutely stunning, the home is beautiful and unique. The house manager Mel assisted us with additional accommodations - including golf carts, some home-cooked meals, airport transportation etc. it was seamless to organize and made our trip that much better. Mel and all of the folks that work with her are outstanding!
We spent so much time in the pool overlooking the ocean and even saw whales! We felt so safe the entire trip. We were there with young children - took golf carts into town daily, visited the pristine and quiet beach at the bottom of the hill - location was perfect. Truly excellent trip, we can’t wait to come back. Thank you!!

Already thinking about the next visit.

I can't express enough how perfect our 2-week stay at Casa Orion was. The house was perfect for us. We loved the pool, outdoor space, and the gorgeous view. We had the prettiest, most beautiful sunsets each night to come home to after spending a day on the beach.
Melissa was an incredible host and made our stay so easy. She coordinated the driver to pick us up at the airport, the gold cart rentals, and even our private chef dinner on our second day. She was proactive and made sure our stay was stress-free and relaxing. I truly appreciate her time and attention to us. She also gave us a generous discount at her candy shop downtown, which we visited twice with our kids.
Highly recommend staying here, especially for families. We are already thinking about our next visit!!

Breathtaking uphill views from this spot.

This house is located in such a wonderful spot. High up on a hill so the views are breathtaking. But, also able to walk into town. We had one golf cart and there were six of us. Between those who wanted to walk and those who wanted to ride, we were just fine. For a few days, we could see whales out in the water and the sound of the waves crashing just added to the wonderful atmosphere. Definitely recommend!
