Secret Garden Suite at Casa Makai in Sayulita offers a tranquil ambiance close to the heart of Sayulita. Just an 8-minute walk from the main beach and town plaza. The Secret Garden Suite is one of 4 suites on the property, offering the perfect escape with stunning mountain views on a quiet street close to all attractions. Enjoy our heated saltwater pool, and modern design villa with all amenities such as high-speed internet, Air conditioner, and kitchenette in each suite.

Makai Oasis is a 4-suite villa that has a pool and terrace outdoor living area. This suite is provided with one king-size bed and one sofabed, kitchenette, TV with Netflix, AC, ceiling fan, closet, and a private bathroom in each room. Maximum capacity of the villa is 10 people.

Guest Access:

This studio has a private entrance to the room and its small secret garden, and is also located on the terrace common area level where you can cool off in the pool or relax in the outdoor livingroom while enjoying the incredible mountain views.

Casa Makai is a place of rest and night parties are not allowed.

Due to the terraces, balconies, and stairs, our accommodation is not recommended for small children or people with reduced mobility.

This was the perfect place to stay for our anniversary getaway. Maurice and his family were incredibly friendly and accommodating hosts. Our unit was even better than the pictures and the location was perfect for walking everywhere (if you enjoy walking and don’t mind steps / hills). Sayulita is very vibrant and naturally noisy; however, our unit was super quiet and restful on the inside. The air conditioning was excellent!!! I wish I could rate my experience as more than 5 stars and am missing my vacation life ❤️

I loved everything.

Wonderful place to stay in Sayulita!

Wonderful place to stay in Sayulita! The room was spotless, and larger than expected. Pool and common area were incredible. Close to the party zone but far enough away that it was quiet in the evenings. Decent amount of stairs to get up to the suite but that felt very welcomed after all the tacos that were consumed. Hosts were very kind and helpful. Great spot, 10/10 would return.

Sayulita is a beautiful destination, and we’re already looking forward to returning!

We had a wonderful stay at this property in Sayulita. The room was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with all the amenities we needed. We stayed in a pool-level room, which was such a treat …the pool and patio area are beautiful and offer stunning views of the lush, jungle-covered hills and breathtaking sunrises.
The walk into town was easy and took less than 10 minutes to reach the centre. It was so nice to return to quiet, peaceful accommodations away from the bustle of town at the end of the day.
As mentioned by the hosts, there are quite a few steps to access the property and rooms, but we found them manageable and well worth it for the views.
Estefania and Maurice are wonderful hosts ..warm, welcoming, and quick to respond to any questions. We would absolutely recommend this property and would happily stay here again.
Sayulita is a beautiful destination, and we’re already looking forward to returning!

We would stay again for sure.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Casa Makai for just around 10 days and our stay was perfect! The hosts were responsive and awesome to communicate with. Half way through our stay their cleaner came to tidy the room up and we were blown away at how pristine it was after! It’s a walkable distance from everything in Sayulita as well! We would stay again for sure.

The location is perfect: within 5 minutes you are in the city center and on the beach. At the same time, the accommodation is wonderfully quiet, and you overlook the green jungle from the swimming pool.
The room is comfortable and equipped with every comfort. The hosts are incredibly friendly and welcoming.
Highly recommended!
