Casa Ventana al Mar in Sayulita is a beautifully designed luxury villa where architecture, art, and the Pacific horizon come together in perfect harmony. Four spacious bedrooms and five bathrooms are arranged for privacy and comfort, each with its own bathroom, terrace, ceiling fan, air conditioning, and screened windows for restful nights. Throughout the home, a relaxed tropical style unfolds in rich color palettes, handcrafted ironwork, artistic tile, and local artwork that reflect the spirit of the Riviera Nayarit.

At the heart of the villa, an open-air living room rises beneath a soaring 30-foot palapa, an ideal gathering place for family and friends or a front-row seat to watch the sun sink into the blue Pacific. High-speed fiber optic WIFI keeps you connected, whether you're catching up on work or streaming your favorite shows in the evening.

The fully equipped kitchen and dining area invite you to prepare memorable meals, complemented by a whole-house water purification system for peace of mind. Gather around the handcrafted copper dining table for a leisurely dinner, or let one of our local chefs come to the villa and cook an unforgettable Mexican feast.

Outside, Casa Ventana al Mar boasts one of Sayulita's finest saltwater pools, surrounded by lush tropical grounds filled with palms, red ginger, bananas, bougainvillea, and heliconia. A shaded poolside palapa comes complete with a built-in gas barbecue, sink, refrigerator, and outdoor shower, perfect for blending margaritas, grilling the local catch of the day, or simply losing yourself in a good book poolside.

Set on Sayulita's tranquil north end, the villa places you close to charming cafes, bars, and yoga studios. A three-minute stroll down a cobblestone path leads to the beach, while the lively town center is just 10 to 15 minutes away on foot. We recommend renting a golf cart for easy exploring, though car rentals are also available, and covered parking for two vehicles is provided on-site. Prefer to leave the driving to us? We're happy to arrange round-trip airport transportation and a grocery stop before you arrive.

Children are welcome at Casa Ventana al Mar, though as with many Sayulita villas, low balconies mean toddlers and small children should be closely supervised.

Frictionless Stay

Our stay was frictionless from the beginning. Lucero, our local hostess, met us upon arrival and walked us thru the house and all the details about the property we needed to know. ( Lucero was amazing! We messaged back and forth In the weeks leading up to the trip and she was able to help me arrange a golf cart, excursions and local recommendations. Cannot speak more highly of Lucero- thank you!). The rooms are all very nice and comfortable. Air conditioning in each room, some rooms get colder than others based on the size of the room, as would be expected. It was very hot outside and we spent more time in our rooms on the afternoon as a result. Of note, this is an open air home. Beautiful and scenic and comfortable and well appointed but the common areas are open air so just be aware. It’s actually very fun and really adds to the beauty of the experience but others found it just too hot.
Pool area is amazing. Outdoor kitchen. Entertain. Lush gardens.

If I could give this 10 stars, I would. Our stay at Margreet’s home in Sayulita was among the top family vacations we have ever had. I cannot begin to to describe how special this home is; the peacefulness, the beautiful decor, the numerous perfect spaces to spend time as a family or to have space and privacy as a couple or individual, including the incredible open air living room, the dining room with a massive copper table, the salt water pool surrounded by the most beautiful jungle garden full of multiple different types of palm trees and flowering plants, with outdoor couch, tables, and multiple deck spaces. All of it feels very private while being only a 5 minute walk to the beach or the north end of town. Sayulita is such a unique mix of truly rustic Mexico with modern sophisticated shops and restaurants mixed with tortilla stands, food trucks, and great, authentic Mexican food (some of which can be better than some restaurants). Excellent stay, wonderful memories!!

Exceeded our expectations!

This lovely house far exceeded our expectations- much bigger than photos imply. Great location on the quiet end of town, but a lovely 10-15 min walk along the beach to the town centre….and a magical beach bar just a few minutes walk to the north for sundowners

Beautiful home / treehouse for a large group

It was a Beautiful home/treehouse for a large group. It was extremely well cared for and had everything, plus more , you needed. Lucero, the house manager was extremely friendly, and always responded within minutes , when we had any questions, and helped us immediately. It is a truly special home !

Loved everything

Perfect. Loved everything. It was an amazing getaway. Margreet had us picked up at the airport and we stopped at a market on the way. Lucero and Katy were waiting for us. The house is beautiful. We explored town and surfing. Great restaurants, food, shops. I was sad to leave. Definitely coming back!! And staying longer. Recommended to all my friends!

Magical setting!

he house was the most magical setting to celebrate our friend’s birthday. Margreet was extremely communicative and helpful throughout our stay: check in, facilitation with transportation to/from the airport and assistance with renting a golf cart in the city were all made easy with her help. The villa itself was gorgeous and clean with a pool and view. Moments from the beach and main town, the memories made here will last us a lifetime and we have so much gratitude.
