Description

Vista Hermosa in Sayulita is a four-bedroom luxury villa perched 400 feet above the village in the sought-after Nanzal Hill neighborhood, where unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean, Sayulita Bay, Monkey Mountain, and the surrounding jungle set the scene from virtually every corner of the property. Close enough to enjoy Sayulita's surf, restaurants, bars, and beaches, yet elevated enough to offer real peace and quiet — this is the rare kind of place that gives you both.

Built in traditional Mexican style with arched brick roofs, wrought iron gates, mosaic tile columns, talavera tiles throughout the bathrooms and stairs, parota wood doors and windows, and colorful local art, the home feels rooted in its surroundings. The grounds cover over 1,200 m² of lush, private gardens blooming with roses, hibiscus, plumeria, bougainvillea, birds of paradise, and ginger, plus mango, lime, and coconut trees. The entire property is secured with exterior gates, cameras, and an alarm system.

At the heart of the outdoor space is a 26-foot heated saltwater infinity pool, perfect year-round, day or night. A poolside bar means you can have a drink mixed for you without ever leaving the water, and Vista Hermosa catches every single sunset over the Pacific — after dark, the lights of Sayulita glow below, framed by Monkey Mountain and the edge of the bay. For serious cooks, the stainless steel Blaze Professional Searing Grill — one of a kind in Sayulita — features 4 main burners, 2 side burners, an outdoor sink, and a prep area. A private chef can also be arranged through the property manager.

Inside, the fully equipped kitchen has granite countertops, a gas oven and stovetop, dishwasher, side-by-side fridge/freezer, Keurig, blender, and more — the dining area features a beautiful handcrafted Parota wood table, perfect for meals, games, and gathering with family and friends. The cozy living area offers comfortable seating, a 50-inch smart TV, and large patio doors that open directly to the pool and patio, blending indoor and outdoor living while showcasing the beautiful ocean and jungle views. Each of the four bedrooms has its own personality: the Butterfly Room opens directly to the pool on the ground floor; the Heart Room has a desk and 22" TV upstairs; the Gecko Room features a contemporary en suite with marble counters, double sinks, and a private balcony; and the Casita is a palapa-covered garden cottage with a hammock facing the ocean — more open-air retreat than standard bedroom.

The home runs on purified water throughout, with high-speed mesh WiFi in every room, a free landline for calls to the US and Canada, in-room safes, a security camera system, and gated parking for 2–3 cars. Housekeeping runs three days a week.

Property manager Gustavo (Gus) greets you at check-in, speaks both English and Spanish, and is available for anything you need — from private chef arrangements to local tips. Airport transfers from Puerto Vallarta (~45 min) can be arranged, and golf carts are delivered directly to the property: a 4-seater runs $75/day and a 6-seater $95/day. Beautiful house

This house is amazing! We had 4 couples and everyone had a nice room and bathroom. The casita is great, a little noisey with the birds in the mornings. The pool was our favorite part! Gus, the house manager, was very attentive. Golf carts are key to getting around town. We had a great time and felt very safe in town and at our house! We will be back!

Absolutely perfect spot for a family holiday in Sayulita!

Location and home was excellent, with all of the amenities one could want. Many lovely touches, including extra beach towels and blankets, coolers, work out mats with weights, BBQ with accessories. The owners arranged everything we needed in advance and helped us find restaurants, a gym and other activities that were highlights of our trip. Gus, the on-site manager was exceptional. Whenever we had small issues, he answered immediately and arranged solutions quickly. He’s a great resource! Finally we asked for Gus to arrange for a couple to come and cook a traditional meal in house for our last night! Best meal that we had and wish we had done it more!

Beautiful home

The house is PERFECT. Stunning views and you can't beat the pool. Spotless. Beach and pool accessories (towels, chairs, umbrella, pool floaties, coolers, etc) are at the house to use.

If you want a good workout, walk the very steep hill to the house! If you don't feel like breaking a sweat on your vacation, I would recommend the golf cart. Haha. Good news is that it only takes a few short minutes to walk DOWN. And a $5 taxi back up.

The open air casita is gorgeous! But the bugs can be brutal and it is a bit noisy (cars, people, nearby construction).

The house is really nice and the bathrooms are nice as well. We had an amazing stay and it never felt cramped. Gus, the property manager is incredibly helpful. It is nice to have a local contact to help you with anything you need or any issues that may come up.

Family getaway

Villa Hermosa was the best family getaway. There was plenty of room for the 8 adults. The pool was fun and a nice temperature. We were close enough to the beach and to town that there was plenty to do. We had a delicious dinner at the house prepared for us by Julio and Laura. Gus, the property manager was helpful to our questions and the Property owner was available via email. We had a perfect time and would highly recommend Villa Hermosa

Gracias!

Vista Hermosa is the real thing. We were there for 2 full weeks. Kitchen is stocked and awesome- cups, bowls, all the cooking supplies you need and more. Ted and Brenda were great from the time of booking throughout the stay. On Ted's referral, Margarito for taxi services (3 separate families with 3 separate arrivals and departures) was easy to work with and very reliable and on time. Gustavo as our POC in Sayulita was always there for us when needed and a fun guy to talk with. He set us up with a great in home catered dinner. We were celebrating my husband's 50th birthday - there were 3 couples and we each have one child, ages 2, 5, and 7. We could not keep the 5 and 7 year olds out of the pool. The home was super safe and cozy. The reviews about the views DO NOT LIE! The golf carts are a must, especially with little kiddos. We adored this home and all its amenities. Highly recommend. This was our 3rd time in Sayulita, we will certainly be back. Thank you Ted and Brenda and crew!

Girls Vacation getaway

We had a great week at this lovely house. The owner called before our stay and provided detailed and very helpful information about the house and the town. The home is big and the views were breathtaking. It is on a very steep hill but we were able to walk to town or taxi. The property manager was attentive and responded to our calls/texts throughout our stay. Would stay here again for sure.

Gorgeous view

A perfect house with a stunning view, gated, private heated pool, clean throughout, nice linen, awesome casa, air conditioned, etc. My husband and I stayed in May of 2020. The house was large for just two of us, but it had the amenities we were looking for and we had a PERFECT vacation. Every day we took the golf cart to town for lunch. The food and margaritas were delicious . We did not get sick eating local food and we felt very comfortable walking around town during the day. On the way back to the house, we stopped at small markets to grab food and fresh veggies for dinner and then stopped at the butcher for steaks. We grilled steaks on the BBQ and made fresh veggie salads. Getting a Covid test for return to the U.S. was easy. The living room is rather small if you plan to sit around and visit inside, but there is plenty of seating outside. The stools in the pool are missing some tiles, but that did not hinder our joy of the pool. A golf cart rental is a must. It doesn't take long to get to town, but the road is a bit windy and steep. I highly recommend this house.

This is a unique place and the view is gorgeous! The house is perfect and comes with all the ammenities needed to have a good stay. The owners were really easy to work with and the property manager was attentive and helpful. If you're looking for a great house with amazing views this is the one.

Our group really LOVED the place. breathtaking view from every point of the house and stunning sunset every evening. Very comfy layout. We really enjoyed the heated pool and the pool bar daily. Fast communication with the host before our arrival and the property manager was there within minutes for our every needs. We will definitely come back.

Great place !

We had such a perfect visit to Sayulita! Ted and Brenda were amazing source for ‘things to do’. Our children adored the turtle release!! The view from the pool is even more beautiful than the pics and is where we spent most of our time!! The golf cart was fun.. it’s a quick but steep trip into town. This home was our saving grace in the trash fire of a year called 2020.
