AMAZING all the way around. The house isn’t fancy but the amenities like Eygyptian Cotton sheets upscaled the stay. The main home and other casitas were clean, comfortable and gave each family a place to gather or be alone. The staff were professional
We will go back over and over again! The chef, Erika and caretaker, Luis, were sweet and professional and so willing to help us with questions about local places to go and arranged our surf board rentals and van pickup so our group of 14 could venture out together. The grounds were lush and full of life. The dinners prepared at the house were so delicious and eating together under the grand palapa was amazing! We feel so lucky to have found this amazing location and although we want to tell the world how great it all was, we kind of want to keep it our secret at the same time. GRACIAS!!!

Great place to unwind with family and friends
We stayed at Casa Rincon for two weeks in March 2019. The entire experience - from airport pick up to drop off - was terrific. The house is a delight. Great kitchen. Wonderful indoor and outdoor gathering places for meals, games and conversation. Lots of quiet corners to soak up the sun and sounds of the beach with a book or a special someone. Plenty of privacy for every member of our group. The location is ideal for surfing (not so much for swimming). But the best thing of all is the staff. Luis and Erica were gracious hosts who provided everything we needed from the smallest item to wonderful five course dinners. Jenny keeps the house spotless and is always smiling. A great vacation!

Awesome vacation for 5 couples
Not only was Casa Rincon amazing, but Pablo, Luis & Erica were fantastic. You could stay at another location, but you could never have better service, food, convenience, and location. The house is secluded, right on the beach with wonderful amenities. Every evening we had Luis bring wood to the beach for our post dancing bonfire on the beach as we watched the hermit crabs travel all over the sand.

They have 2 kayaks, multiple surf boards, ping pong, towels, sun block, etc. The waves never let up and were easy to surf for the beginners and great for the experienced a little further down the beach.

We rented a car and had Luis drive us to any destination we wanted to go: Sayulita, Dinner (Four Seasons), shopping at the Mega, getting more beer and tequila. We loved Casa Rincon and recommend it to anyone looking for a great beach vacation in Mexico.

I also recommend fishing one day at least We saw so many whales and caught over 24 fish. I don't know if it is OK to leave a recommendation, but Fernando was our fishing contact and the experience well worth the effort. We invited he and his wife for breakfast with our group the day before and they are really great people

Great Family Vacation
This was perfect for a family group of 12. Ages ranged from 6 to over 70 and everybody had a fabulous time. The property is on a private beach perfect for surfing, kayaking and all the equipment is provided for free! The property manager is very helpful and will do your grocery shopping, pick you up at the airport and arrange tours and taxis. The housekeeper Luis is fantastic he will set up fires on the beach and he and his wife will cook for you. The food is great and everyone raved about it. I would really recommend this for a great family holiday.

Relaxing, beautiful & unique
Our group of 10 stayed here and could not have been more pleased! This is the perfect place for those that love the outdoors. The property is absolutely wonderful. Lots of individual private living spaces that flow down through beautiful mature foliage, to a small sea wall at the edge of soft sandy beach. We spent many hours sitting on loungers by the sea wall, watching for whales... so happy we were there at the right time of year! I thought we would use the AC more, but we all ended up with open windows and doors, the plentiful overhead fans provided more than enough cooling, and it was fantastic to feel so immersed in the outdoors. Over the course of the week, we left the property only twice; once for dinner in La Cruz, and another time for a small shopping trip to the market in Bucerias. The rest of time we stayed put, and enjoyed the truly amazing food that Luis and the staff prepared. Can't say enough about how easy (for us) & tasty they made every meal. So thankful for the option! We ate every meal down under the grand palapa, right on the beach. We all felt truly blissful, fortunate, and relaxed. A couple of notes: the beach is quite rocky close to shore, so either wear the water shoes they have, or bring your chacos/tevas. The waves are really fantastic and fun to kayak on. Also, when we were there in January, the pool was quite cold. We still swam in it being from Vermont & Oregon, and I'm sure that its refreshing in July. Just be prepared. Last comment; we took the bus from the front of the community to Bucerias and back, and would do it again. Very clean, fast, and inexpensive. Much easier than driving. Barbara was lovely to work with, and we would love to return someday soon!

Surf in! Surf out! Casa Rincon is the best for a surf vacation.
We arrived late at night, Ivan greeted us with cold beers and picked us up at the airport. We arrived to Casa Rincon in the middle of the night, all was quiet save for the gentle sound of the waves in the distance. The next morning we woke to a beautiful sunrise and walked straight out to the beach. The neighborhood was sleepy and not many people were out yet, not that there were ever many people out walking the beach. This was one of my favorite aspects of this home, we felt as though we were on a private beach with very little foot traffic, much different from Sayulita. The next day was when the swell arrived, 3-5ft for the rest of our trip....hallelujah! We will definitely be back...maybe when the kids get older...but for now, adults only!

If you surf or want seclusion, you've found it with Casa Rincon. And don't cook, allow Luis to prepare desayuno y cena todos los dias!

Thank you Barbara!

Exceeded Our Expectations!
Wow. Our weeklong vacation at Casa Rincon was even better than what we had anticipated! When we first arrived at the entrance to the neighborhood, we were greeted by friendly guards who welcomed us into the neighborhood with a smile and a wave. The road to the Casa Rincon driveway is very cute and as you pass each house you get more excited! When we arrived at Casa Rincon, we had so much fun bouncing from Casita to casita checking out the vibe of each and picking our own suite for the week. The property is AMAZING! The photos don't do it justice! Each casita has its own unique vibe and design. Some with kitchens, most with AC, some have outdoor showers, there is something for everyone! The staff at Casa Rincon is also amazing and will cook for you, cut fresh coconuts for you, collect firewood, really anything you could ever ask for is done quickly and with a smile. We found it much more cost effective to have the chefs cook for us each night, the food is delicious, you choose the menu, and they cook and clean. What more could you want? Everything you need is at the property. It must have taken years to furnish the property with all of the things that make it so amazing. Everything from kayaks, to water shoes in all sizes, to towels and shampoo... everything you need is there! Just bring clothes and you're set. All the dishes you'll ever need and more, the staff does all the laundry for you and cleans your room everyday. We were beyond happy to generously tip them at the end of the week for all of their hard work. They made the trip extra special. Everything is decorated perfectly, everything is clean, we couldn't have felt more at home. Thank you Casa Rincon and staff for a beautiful, long-overdue family vacation! We made memories that will last a lifetime.

Best family vacation ever
Casa Rincon is a beautiful place and great location, with an amazing staff! My son in law wanted Erika to come home with us, so he could enjoy her fabulous cooking all the time! Dining under the Palapa while watching the surf roll in, was a slice of heaven! We were all saying that Erika’s culinary expertise was definitely 5 stars, plus she is so very sweet! We really enjoyed having our welcoming margaritas and best ever guacamole upon our arrival! We all spent a lot of time in the water; boogie boarding, kayaking, and of course surfing, and loved every minute of it! We also enjoyed playing with the grand babies in the pool! Great memories for all! Pablo took great care of us, picking us up from the airport, getting us a rental car, groceries stocked etc…

Christmas at Casa Rincon!
My family of 4, joined two other families (totaling 12 guests) for Christmas at Casa Rincon. Going to a new location outside of Sayulita, which is where we usually stay, I had only one concern and that was possibly being too isolated. That concern ended up being the best part of the entire trip as, besides food that can be pre-arranged, everything you'll need it already there! While staying at Casa Rincon, you will have a care taker Luis and his daughter and grand daughter to help cook and keep the house in order with clean towels etc... I highly recommend that you arrange for them to cook an authentic Mexican dinner and breakfast for you especially for your first night and morning there. We sent the owner some money in advance to forward down for groceries. After arriving at PVR late afternoon we were promptly picked up by Roberto who took us straight to the house, bypassing the big Mega store all together. We ended up taking a drive in a few days later to stock up on supplies but we really had everything we needed there including great left-overs for lunch the following day and an over flowing basket of fruit.

Because we had a large group, Luise picked up two extra SUP boards for us to use all week. I think the total cost for 2 very high end boards and paddles was $40 a day for both. Well worth it! (Note: be careful of the fins during the lower tides)

Going into Sayulita for shopping and dinner a few times was all that we needed for a
hustle and bustle experience in town. Being back at Casa Rincon for lazy days filled with surfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, playing ping pong, enjoying the beautiful beach and playing volleyball (we brought our own net) was just what we were seeking coming from the cold, rainy Pacific Northwest.

The best part about having everything there is that you don't have to wait for your family to be ready to go places all at the same time as we have in the past. There is no SUP rental company waiting for your return or a walk to the beach requiring everyone to be ready at one time. You just wake up at your leisure, and go at your own pace. Pajamas or bathing suits, your call. Many a morning I was up early sipping coffee and reading my book before a SUP outing. Then slowly people begin to rise doing their own daily agenda just like myself. True relaxation!

The neighboring fishing towns are OK too but if you haven't been to Sayulita, that's the place to go. It's about a $25 cab ride each way, but split between a group is a nice way to travel and you don't have to worry about directions. We definitely will be back!

Truly a magical place
2 adults, 2 young teenagers (12,14). I feel so lucky to have been able to stay at Casa Rincon. I had made prior reservations at a "mega resort" but knew it wasn't the right fit for my family. At a moment's notice, this home became available for our family. I quickly cancelled the resort res and booked Casa Rincon. This place truely is like a slice of heaven. My family was beyond happy with the home and the location. Walking right off the home property to the beach for walking, shell seaking, surfing, sea kyaking, SUP, never a dull moment. We surfed everyday. We rented a car so we had access to the lovely town of (10 min) La Cruz for fine dining or local street tacos. Very close to Punta de Mita for a more touristy town and to plan excursions. (10min). The staff at the home (housekeeping, cooks, caretaker) were a huge plus and all were very helpful, trustworthy, and delightful to speak Spanish/English with and learn from. The home is completely equipped with lovely linens, beautiful kitchenware/dishes; really more than you need. 30 min from the airport....far enough away but close enough also. The sea wall/back deck was a wonderful place to relax with a cup of coffee or later in the day, margaritas, while our kids searched for sea life and shells. Games, cards, a pool, and a fabulous ping-pong table. This was probably one of the best vacations my family has ever taken and I truly feel that Casa Rincon was a big part of the success. We are so grateful.
