Excellent walking tour of old town
This is an excellent way to learn more about the history and architecture of Puerto Vallarta. Sandra is fantastic. She is an expat who has lived in PV for over 16 years. We started at the Malecon and walked all over the old town plus stopped at shops to talk to the artisans. I loved seeing where Elizabeth Taylor lived! I highly recommend booking this walking tour on the first day of your vacation in PV. Sandra also offers a self-guided audio tour,

Fun, interesting walking tour of downtown and nearby Puerto Vallarta
My partner and I were on a 7 day Mexican riviera cruise and based on research I did before leaving home, I arranged for a tour with Sandra. We really enjoyed it.

We took Uber from the cruise port to downtown and walked the short distance from where he dropped us off to Los Arcos at the malecon in downtown.

Through our good luck we had Sandra all to ourselves because the other two reservations had their dates confused. Anyhow Sandra took us on a really interesting tour in the old downtown and then into the botanical garden and in the historic neighborhood up the hill where Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton lived and then to the beautiful, historic downtown church. We even saw macaws in the trees in the park. Sarah knows a number of the local shopkeepers who greeted her warmly.

I would highly recommend Sarah's walking tour whether you are only in Puerto Vallarta for a cruise stop or there for a longer stay. She has lived there for many years and knows the town well and is generous about sharing her knowledge.

Also if you are on a cruise and want to go downtown I recommend using Uber. In USD each one-way trip only cost around $6 plus tip compared with what we heard other people paid for taxis: much more. There are plenty of Uber drivers there.

PUT THIS TOUR ON YOUR MUST DO LIST
This tour was definitely long overdue. We have been wanting to see where the locals live and shop for a few years and Sandra certainly knew her stuff. The taxi driver dropped us off at the wrong location from where we were supposed to meet. We telephoned Sandra and she graciously waited for us. This simple act of kindness was HUGE, especially considering it was her birthday and she could have scheduled our tour any other day of the week. As we walked through the Emiliano Zapata neighborhood, many of the locals and store owners knew Sandra by name and were so happy to greet us. We especially enjoyed the renovation process of a botanical garden. Our stop at the showroom of Oaxaca rugs and tapestries was very interesting with the display of only natural ingredients such as flowers, seeds, etc, used to dye their quality fabrics. We were delighted by the largest outdoor produce market in Vallarta, Sandra treated us to a truffle from what I now consider the best chocolate maker, the butcher shop, the “juice lady” as she squeezed fresh pineapple for us, watching the entire process of tortilla making, Alfonso’s leather store and the “chicken lady”. We were privileged to watch artists sketch and hand paint ceramic tiles in the largest ceramic shop in Banderas Bay. This tour is literally a full body experience which satisfies, sight, sound, smell, taste and touch. Thank you Sandra for a splendid morning, the photos you took and sharing your birthday with us.

Wheelchair Accessible Walking Tour #2
My husband, a full time wheelchair user, and I took our first walking tour with owner guide Sandra in October 2022 of the Malecon after we learned that our cruise line offered no wheelchair accessible shore excursions whatsoever for Puerto Vallarta. We so thoroughly enjoyed our experience that we booked a second tour in April, this time of the Emiliano Zapata area. This area is full of charming houses, shops and restaurants, but harder to navigate with a wheelchair. However, Sandra enlisted the aid of Douglas who helped us work around narrow and uneven sidewalks and rough curb cuts to make this walk as enjoyable as the first. Thanks, Sandra!

Awesome!
Won the door prize draw at a local charity event, which turned out to be Sandra’s awesome day tour of San Sebastián near Puerto Vallarta. We invited 10 friends, asked Sandra to help with various “special details” , and she ably took it from there.
Super friendly knowledgeable drivers plus Sandra’s in depth description of the varied fun and interesting sites in and around San Sebastián made our day so unforgettable!
Great value. Comfortable easy drive. Amazing host and guides. Terrific day all round.
