Hi Nicole,
That is very unfortunate and I wish it could be different! Sayulita has become very popular and people come here from all over the world so it takes one person to sneeze on a table that has a virus and in this hot tropical climate it goes wild!
The town is two weeks away from completing the emmisor line from the waste treatment plant which will return pristine waters to Sayulita and the town should never have that problem again in the future. Great effort has been undertaken in this project.
Again we are saddened to hear of guests falling ill and continue to try and eradicate this problem. We have never had guests get sick here at the Estate but when they go to town they seem to contract it. We just had for groups of guests here and they did not go to town, none were ill!
As one of our pickiest guests said, "... this was the best wedding I have ever been too."
