Magical experience!
Casa Agave was overall, magical. The views from the back patio superseded my expectations. You see the entire town as well as the main beach to watch surfers and absolutely stunning sunsets. The home itself felt very tradition styled and gave a great at home feel. The appliances didn’t function at top performance - the fridge didn’t stay very cold and we have a few items go bad. All of the beds seemed to be very comfortable and it was great that each bedroom had their own bath. We did see a scorpion so keep your eyes peeled. It was very small. Very very private home. It is definitely not walking distance to town, the way down is fine but the way back up is a trek. Golf carts are a must. The property manager, Heather was WONDERFUL. So available, proactive and took care of any problem almost immediately with no questions asked. The pool is smaller than it looks in photos - 10 of us fit extremely snug when all of us were in it. Overall, great experience and highly recommend.

beautiful home & excellent location
Great house, we had a fantastic stay. As a lot of the others say, it’s a fair drive up and down but being out of town was wonderful.

Stay here. You won't regret it.
Our stay was awesome. The house can be tricky to find the first time but after that it's easy. It's a partially open-air home so be ready for plenty of beetles, geckos, and other winged/six legged jungle friends. By day two we were all friends lol. Also, the listing mentions A/C but it's only in the rooms, so if you're visiting in August/September be ready to sweat it out. We didn't mind, but it could be a lot for elderly/young children. Get a golf cart or two and skip the rental car. We got a $450 SUV for the week and only drove it to and from Puerto Vallarta. Way easier to park downtown that way. The house manager that lives downstairs was awesome! She cleaned a few times during our stay, hooked us up with the golf cart folks, an suggested a few cool activities. Don't worry about the stability/safety of the house. We experienced the 7.6 magnitude earthquake and barely the shake. Book this place. You'll make memories.

10/10 Recommend
The house is exactly as it appears- beautiful, spacious and with an incredible view of the ocean and town below. Theresa is very accommodating, as is the team that works with her to make sure your needs are met during your stay (extra towels, water, etc.). Our group was younger and is very active at home- think gym, soccer, Iron Man and Marathon runners. Golf carts are such a good idea at Casa Agave! The climb is steep and walking is absolutely doable. But sometimes it is hard to beat the convenience of the carts. Absolutely stay here. It is incredible!

This property is absolutely stunning, and we can't wait to return next year. The house is extremely spacious and has amazing views. It has everything you need for a home away from home. Loved watching sunset on the top deck, a very beautiful place to stay whilst enjoying Sayulita. Definitely recommend the golf carts, not only are they a good means of transport, but they're fun too!

Highly Recommend
Casa Agave is lovely! It's tucked up on the hill so away from the hustle and bustle of the town but easily accessible. The house was clean, pool well kept, and communication clear. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked, but we didn't cook at all since Sayulita has so many great food options. Highly recommend Casa Agave!

Great for families and groups!
We enjoyed our stay at Casa Agave! Located on the hill with beautiful views. We had a larger group, and this house was a great fit for our family. As it goes with most of the locations in Sayulita, this home is accessed via a steep road, but our SUVs did well, and there is ample parking. The upstairs bedrooms are spacious and offer great views, and the home is surprisingly quiet when the bedroom and bathroom doors are closed. We happened to visit Sayulita during Beer Fest, which could be heard outside, but it was nice and quiet inside when we were all ready for bed. The home was furnished well enough, and we enjoyed meals both at home and out and about. The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable.
