Views are incredible!
Just as the listing suggests .. the view is INCREDIBLE!! We loved watching our toddlers play in the pool, while the parents got to relax on the couches and loungers. We ate at the house frequently as the home is so nice, you really don't want to leave. The property managers were super helpful and quick to respond. Cleaner came 3 times during our week which was lovely .. made beds is always so nice! the road up is steep, so keep that in mind with a rental car. Wifi worked well on most floors. We had one scorpion visit during our stay, which Theresa warned us about so we were on the look out! Thanks for the hospitality and having such a lovely place!!

Great stay, wonderful location
It’s an amazing house with an incredible view! Ideal for young travellers or for people that like adventure . The house is in the perfect location for a great view perspective but not for coming and going to town as the road is quite steep . You need to hire a golf cart at around $40 per day . Heather the property manager is super helpful and always available. We had a couple of incidents and she was so helpful. 10 people fit comfortably.

Can't wait to go back! Fell in love with this house and town!
Wow, Casa Agave was such an incredible place to stay! We have every intention of going back to this exact house, here's a few reasons why:
LOCATION! The house is such a quick golf cart ride into town, it could not be easier. The owners even got us set up with Golf Car Rentals. Getting to town was so easy, we went every single day. But at the end of the day, we loved going back to our private house, private pool and view. It's the best of both worlds, close to town and but private.
HUGE House, Great Amenities! We spent every afternoon at the house, playing in the pool! It was fantastic! We also spent a lot of time on the roof top patio playing games and hanging out. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms was perfect. We all had our own space and did not feel crowded at all.
The cleaners came during our trip as well which was such a nice touch, it really helps maintain that "vacation mode" we are always looking for.
All in all, a fantastic place that we will 100% return too,

Best Vacation Rental for large group!!!
This house is an outstanding home for a large party and unbelievable value for what you get. I recommend this to anyone who is travelling with a group of 3 couples, or more.

The views are stunning, it is a spacious home with ample areas for lounging. We were a party of 11 -- 8 adults, 2 teens, and a toddler -- and we all had plenty of room to spread out. Having 5 full bathrooms is HUGE and so very welcome. Each couple had their own!

Heather, the manager, and her crew are amazing. Very responsive and attentive. I had no idea we would have someone come and tidy TWICE while we were there for a week. That was a pleasant surprise. Also, the pool is maintained every couple of days. Having a caretaker living below us, in the house, was also reassuring. The house is very large and we never felt their presence was noticeable.

Yes, the hill is impressively steep. But the view, wow, it's worth it. We rented a single golf cart to make life easier with our grandson, but the rest of us made do with walking. We are a very fit/athletic group. I could see climbing the hill on foot may be a challenge for people who are not fit, who are larger, or who have mobility issues. I recommend the golf cart or making use of the taxis. We only used a taxi once and it was 70 pesos from the main square to the driveway.

The house is bright and filled with light. There are plenty of windows that open to let the breeze flow through and during the day the house was always a comfortable temperature. The air conditioning in the bedrooms all worked well, and we only used them at night. The built-in seating areas are large and comfortable, with plenty of throw pillows.

The beds were all very comfortable, with nice mattresses in the 'soft' range. Our bed in the master had 4 king size pillows (not sure about the other rooms, but I think there we all equally as good). The linens were crisp and white. The blankets of a nice quality cotton, traditional Mexican style.

Bathroom towels were a bit on the small side, but, really, in this climate you don't need to wrap yourself in a giant bath sheet after a shower so makes no difference to me. Much more important for us: there were bath towels for everyone AND separate beach towels for everyone. I was delighted because you don't always get beach towels, especially at this price point. And the beach towels were big.

The pool is the perfect size for cooling down and relaxing. And the style with the smaller pool, flowing into the larger pool, and over the infinity edge is wonderful. The view from in the pool, with your arms draped over the infinity edge is amazing. Very well designed.

We found the kitchen to be very well equipped. The stove is wonderful and we made full use of it, between our cooking and we had a caterer come in for three dinners and cook for us. He was impressed and found the kitchen worked very well for catering. There is a blender and a manual juicer: the essential tools for making your own margaritas! The dish ware provided is very traditional and we loved setting the table using the ceramic dishes.

All in all, this is one of the best vacation homes we have rented in Mexico!

Amazing views
Casa Agave was beautiful and very well equipped. Lots of room and deck space to spread out for a large group. View and sunsets were stunning from all the decks but especially the roof top palapa.

Heather is in town and very responsive to any questions. The only down side is the VERY steep hill to get to the house - walking to town is easy but even the fittest of the crowd had a tough time walking back home in the afternoon!

Golf carts were helpful but can really only accommodate 3 going up....if we were to do it again we would probably just cab home - very cheap. Without the steep hill you wouldn’t have those amazing views so well worth the climb!!!

We stayed here with 3 families for a summer vacation. The house and view were beautiful!
We had visited Sayulita before and wanted to come back for a longer stay. Casa Agave was the perfect house. The weather was very humid this time of year but we spent most our time in the pool overlooking the gorgeous view, if we weren't down at the beach. The view of the surrounding jungle and beach town were amazing! The hill up to the house is steep but many days during our stay we didn't use a golf cart and instead walked down for exercise and took a taxi back up. On occasion when we needed groceries we rented a golf cart. The property owner, manager, and assistant were all very gracious and helpful in coordinating our trip. I highly recommend this house for any vacation!!

A fun, gorgeous place for a group
We were a party of 14, including some small children, some preteens, and some adults. Casa Agave was a great place to spread out. We all had enough of our own space to not feel like we were on top of each other, and the roof top deck was a huge bonus space and one of the favourite spots to catch an afternoon nap or watch the stars at night. The views from the house, and particularly from the roof top deck, were just breathtaking. Seeing the whole town from up there gave a great perspective on the area, and you could even see how the surf was on any given day!

The house was clean and well cared for, although there was a lack of dishes and cooking utensils that we mentioned to the host. They're putting it right for guests in the future, so no complaints there. We all enjoyed the pool as well as the time in the town. Renting golf carts was absolutely needed and so much fun. The kids all just wanted to go drive down the hill and around the town, and we did it all the time. The house's caregiver, Heather, was really easy to contact and ready to help with anything we needed. Anna, the woman who lives in the lower suite and cleans was very lovely, and had *almost* enough beach towels for us to each have one. (We were a really big party so we did a bit of sharing, which was fine.)

Thanks so much to Theresa, Heather, Anna, for a wonderful week! We'll definitely recommend Casa Agave to friends and family.

Spacious comfortable home with incredible views. Quiet and secluded overlooking the ocean
Celebrated a milestone birthday at Casa Agave with nine women for a week. Plenty of space with the five bedrooms and five baths. Main and upper level bedrooms were spacious with incredible views. Upper level bathrooms had open air showers overlooking the ocean. Lower level bedrooms were referred to as the dungeon..best for privacy and late sleepers!

The entrance from the lower level (housekeepers home) was a little creepy and we were caught off guard a couple times with someone stopping in to drop off towels, etc., at odd hours. Would recommend housekeeping use the front door. Very few bugs in spite of some of the prior reviews, but likely due to the winter season. There are more to be found in the rainy, summer season. We kept our food off the counters and had no issues. Pool was fairly small, but clear, clean, and perfect for our group to gather and cool off. Ana, the housekeeper, was very sweet and we hired her to cook a delicious Mexican Cuisine meal one evening and she even baked a beautifully decorated birthday cake. Heather, the property manager, was very helpful and responded quickly to requests for golf cart rentals, restaurants, and excursion referrals.

Lots of gathering space to accommodate our group. Overall very clean and comfortable, only complaint regarding housekeeping would be the windows! With such gorgeous views being the highlight, owners should invest in regular window cleaning.

Golf cart rental was a necessity with the steep hills leading up to the home. The town of Sayulita had a relaxed and friendly vibe, and we felt safe tooling around on our golf carts and exploring the beaches and shops. Meals in town were all tasty and quite inexpensive.

Overall a great trip and a great experience.
