Casa Ballena in Sayulita is a small, aesthetically-designed vacation home, built for me by Sayulita's favorite architect, Estela Gayosso. With one bedroom with King size bed, and one bath, this romantic home is perfect for a couple. The parota-wood doors open from the living room out onto the cantera stone-tiled terrace with a beautiful palapa providing shade and breezes, as well as entertaining and outdoor living space. It is only a 6-minute walk to downtown and the beach from the beautiful Gringo Hill location.
Named for its whale fountain, Casa Ballena treats one to a lovely "botanical" garden with a "cantera rustico" walkway, an outdoor shower, a fully-equipped kitchen with a pass-through window for entertaining, and a little back yard with clothesline for drying your beach clothes. The new palapa (October, 2016 ) is lovely and is the real livingroom of the Casa, where you can enjoy the outdoor tropical living lifestyle. New rock-enclosed gardens are along the walkway. New and excellent lighting provides safety at night.
Please take a look at Casita Molusco also available on the property - it can be rented separately or together with Casa Ballena if you are in need of more space.
