Perfect Location
We just spent (3) nights at Casa Ballena...it was very last minute. Thankfully, Jean was able to accommodate us.

The house was very clean with everything you need. Loved the outdoor shower! Jean was very helpful and easy to deal with. We do travel to Sayulita often and will definitely stay here again.

Thanks so much, Kathy

Nice location
Casita Molusco at Casa Ballena is very pretty and well kept. The grounds were lovely and the house is clean and new. The location is pretty, above the town in the trees.

Great new casita in awesome location
Jean's new casita is fantastic! Excellent location, a very quick walk up the hill from town which is perfect as it's nice and quiet but only takes about 5-6 min to walk into town. This place would be great for a couple, it has a lovely patio that is really quite private with a nice view. Jean was very easy to get in touch with and provided some good local recommendations. I would love to stay here again.

Beautiful home
The photographs of Casa Ballena do not do it justice. It is a beautiful home with a unique and inviting open floor plan. The patio palapa is a wonderful place to enjoy morning coffee and have a quiet evening when you want to escape the lively downtown scene.

We had several friends vacationing in the area at the same time and they were all jealous of our awesome digs! When we first arrived I felt we were a little removed from downtown, but the walk to el centro turned out to be a very fast five minute jaunt down the hill. The location is very convenient; close enough to get into town quickly, but just far enough up the hill for it to be a quiet, peaceful escape.

I was up before dawn every day to surf and it was an easy 10 or so minute walk to the beach (at first when you see the water from the road it seems so far away, but the beach is actually closer than you think. It really is a short, easy walk and I would be in the water about 15 minutes after rolling out of bed each morning.) Lastly, the outdoor shower cannot be beat.

Incredible!
Sayulita is incredible and Casita Molusco really made us feel at home. It's small but all you need is there. My boyfriend and I stayed for 9 days. Jean was fantastic, her communication was great throughout the entire stay. The filtered water provided was really appreciated. Jeans spot is a short walk to the town and beach, you were far enough from the town to feel out of the hustle and bustle, but you could still hear the sea. Jeans neighbours can get a little rowdy; they involve: a rooster, birds, donkey, dogs and a turkey. They wake up pretty early, so earplugs are strongly recommended, but they're pretty funny and lovable.

Great for a solo traveler
Casa Ballena's new casita was perfect for my short solo visit to Sayulita. It's less than a 5-minute walk to shops and restaurants, and just a bit farther to the beach. The neighborhood is residential, with some beautiful homes and lush jungle trees and flowers. I loved having my morning coffee while enjoying the views from the deck, and despite being so close to all of the action the casita was very comfy with a great bed and well-equipped kitchen. Jean is lovely and was very communicative both before my arrival and during my stay. Will look forward to staying there again!

Wonderful stay
Jean was very communicative and swift with responses to questions. She provided a lot of great information regarding getting to Sayulita by public transportation from the airport, great places to eat, shop etc. Lovely spot, away from the business of the town but also minutes walk to it all. Super clean and had enough of a set up in the kitchen to make own breakfasts, coffee, etc. which we enjoyed on the terrace above the tree canopy.

Amazing, close walk to town yet far from the nightlife noise
Casa Ballena is amazing! A quick 10 minute walk up the hill from the center of Sayulita, Casa Ballena was an oasis - perfect for two people who need & want to relax! The kitchen was fully equipped, the garden was beautiful, and it was super comfortable. Sayulita can be a bumpin' town, and this house was just removed enough to be quiet - the house across the street does have some vocal chickens and one sassy turkey, but it wasn't an issue at all, one of the charming aspects of Mexico. The outdoor shower is amazing!

We arrived close to midnight and it was a little confusing once we got to Sayulita in a cab - we got to the plaza in the center of town, headed up the hill and made the first left. The house is on the left past a little jungle-y split in the road. If you are using Google Maps, be warned that the location of the house is wrong in the app, but it is correct on SayulitaLife.

Jean is extremely communicative and accommodating and definitely takes pride in her guests and property. 100% would stay here again!
