Can't recommend this place enough!

I had been wanting to learn ceramics for a couple of years. I found Johanna from an Instagram ad and wasn't sure what to expect. She truly changed my life. I started with one workshop, then a second, and then became a monthly member because I couldn't get enough. Her workshops are truly special. Some with food and drinks and beautiful women who truly love to create and connect as much as I do. I went for ceramics and feel like a found a home. Fantastic!

This review is long overdue. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ! Had a great experience. If you have 5-7 days in Sayulita you HAVE to make the time to create a beautiful piece of art with Johanna. Her whole set up is perfect. I’m heading to Sayulita in a few months and will definitely book some time to be creative.

Definitely recommend it!

I had the most wonderful time at Art House Ceramica with Johanna.

I signed up for the month membership and was in there almost every day. Johanna is incredibly helpful, flexible, knowledgable and kind. She also shows you respect and lets you craft solo when you’re in a nice creative flow.

Her range of glazes are both abundant and beautiful, and I wish I could have spent more time there.

It was wonderful having Reyna (her gorgeous dog) as a frequent companion in the studio too.

Magical experience!

My new favorite activity in town! Johanna has created such a magical, peaceful space to get creative and work with your hands. I attended her “Cafecito, Waffles and Clay” workshop where she made us a delicious breakfast then we hand built items of our choice. I asked if I could sign my 10 year old daughter up for the workshop and she so graciously opened her space to her as well. We had 2 amazing Sunday sessions working on our pieces. We both made coffee/tea mugs that turned out so cute and functional. Highly recommend!
