Upon arrival to Casa Cariño we will have ice-cold water and beer waiting for you. The main living area opens out to the picture-perfect, tranquil pool/garden terrace with expansive ocean views and loungers for sunning. The main level features a sliding wood framed glass door that disappears into the wall when fully open so you can fully enjoy indoor/outdoor tropical living. A private heated saltwater pool with waterfall and wading area is surrounded by lush, landscaped gardens and 6 hole mini-golf course for kids of all ages to enjoy (adults too)! There are built-in outdoor surround sound Bluetooth speakers for you to play your favorite tunes. Plenty of outdoor seating great for al fresco dining on all levels including the rooftop terrace perched atop the home with jaw-dropping, panoramic ocean and mountainside views.
The well-appointed kitchen is designed for your entertaining pleasure. The fully stocked kitchen features granite countertops, gas stove (no oven), Air Fryer, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, pots, pans, cooking utensils & knives, silverware, plates, serving bowls, automatic wine opener, cutting boards, spices, wine glasses, coffee cups and drinkware. Everything you need to prepare anything from meals to margaritas. Main level is an open floor plan with a living room and dining room that looks out onto the lush garden and pool with ocean views. There is an awesome outdoor BBQ grill for all your grilling needs including grilling utensils.
The 2nd level features two master suites with glass doors that open up to an oversized ocean view balcony with lounging chairs and a separate sitting area.
The rooftop palapa terrace is by far many guests favorite spot in the house! It boasts unparalleled awe-inspiring 360-degree views of the Nayarit coastline and the surf. It features a custom bar with two beverage refrigerators, a full-size pool table, luxurious lounge furniture and built-in outdoor surround sound speakers to play your favorite tunes (Bluetooth)! It is perfect for coffee at sunrise, catching some sun, reading a good book, enjoying an afternoon lunch, or sipping your favorite drink while watching the sunset.

4 Bedrooms, 4 Bathrooms, Outdoor Shower by Pool. All bedrooms and the main living area on the garden level have individual air-conditioning units. The bedrooms have ocean views and are furnished with comfortable mattresses, luxury linens and feature traditional Mexican art and touches throughout.

The bathroom for this bedroom room has two entry doors - one from the bedroom, and one from the main living area.

LOCATION
The location is absolutely the best in Sayulita! Casa Cariño is located in the exclusive south-central area, on a little hill directly above Sayulita’s premiere beach. The beach and town are a delightful 2-minute walk via a beautifully landscaped, paved meandering path. Restaurants, bars, shops, and everything is no more than a 5-minute stroll.
TRULY STUNNING POOL!!
The swimming pool is HEATED in the cooler months (generally between December and April) - it is ozone-treated with a touch of salt. The pool features a shallow wading area perfect for sunning or kids, basketball hoop, tranquil waterfall and is surrounded by lush, tropical gardens. Kids and adults of all ages enjoy the new 6-hole mini-golf course.

How would you like waking up in the morning, without having to do anything?! Mayte will have coffee ready, fresh fruit out and she will prepare a delicious breakfast for everyone! Please note there is no breakfast or housekeeping on Sunday or holidays. The available menu options are sent prior to your arrival for you to select.
ROOFTAP PALAPA TERRACE with PANORAMIC VIEWS
The rooftop terrace is the place to be! This is hands down one of the most popular features of the house. There is a luxury lounging area, pool table for a game of billiards and a custom bar for all your beverage needs. The bar features two beverage refrigerators, blender, bar ware utensils, cutting boards, and ice bucket. Simply stock the refrigerators with your favorite beverages or use the blender to whip up an ice-cold margarita! Great location for al fresco dining too. The comfort and view are beyond perfection.
INTERNET
The house is equipped with PREMIUM WI-FI fiber optic internet available throughout the entire house if you must stay connected. We utilize SayulitaWiFi which is a newer broad band service in the area and much more reliable. Most homes do not offer this premium service!! Service interruptions can still occasionally happen, if you have to work and must stay connected, a backup hot spot is a good idea. (We often stream multiple TV’s (i.e., Netflix), work conference calls, and music streaming simultaneously without any issues).

We cater to your wants and needs! The home is fully staffed with our housekeeper (Mayte), and our property manager (Frank). Daily housekeeping included in the rate (except Sundays & Holidays). We provide a Welcome Email about a month prior to your stay with helpful info to help you prepare for your trip! We offer additional services such as airport transfers, golf cart rental arrangements, and scheduling any activities or excursions you may choose. Please reach out if you have any specific requests or need recommendations! Our property manager, Frank, speaks English and Spanish and will be there to greet you. During your stay Frank is available to assist you with any information or services you may need.

GOLF CART & PARKING
There are golf carts available for rental in town. We can arrange for one to be delivered to the house prior to your arrival. We have a parking space for a golf cart. There is street parking available right on the block if you have a car.
DEPOSITS & REFUNDS:
All reservations require a deposit of 50% in order to hold the dates. The balance of the rental charge is due 30 days prior to your arrival.
We also collect a $700 refundable damage security deposit 14 days prior to arrival date.

Security Our standard nightly rates are quoted in USD. These rates do not include 16% VAT. Discretionary tips are not included. If you have questions or if your needs fall outside of the options available, please contact us directly. Rates are subject to change until reservation is paid. Low Season (June – October), 4 night minimum stay, $550/night. 10% discount on 9 nights or more.
High Season (November – May), 4 night minimum stay, $695/night. 10% discount on 9 nights or more.
Holiday Season (Thanksgiving, Easter & Spring Break), 7 night minimum stay, $925/night.
Peak Season (Christmas & New Years), 7 night minimum stay, $1125/night.
Please be advised that we get booked very fast, particularly during for the peak and high seasons, sometimes up to and beyond a year in advance.
Cancellation Policy: In the unfortunate event you should have to cancel your booking, please see below for details.
100% refund if you cancel at least 30 days before check-in.
50% refund (minus the service fee) if you cancel at least 14 days before check-in.
No refund if you cancel less than 14 days before check-in.
Early check will not be refunded. We enourage all guests to purchase travel insurance.
We found ourselves lounging in the pool and playing mini golf or bean bags on the main level daily. There are stunning ocean views from the second floor which was perfect for sunning and reading a book. One of the ladies in our group had a yoga mat and did her yoga on the second-floor balcony. I can tell you that the rooftop terrace with the pool table is where we spent many late nights! We could play music, make drinks on the bar (and the property manager had it stocked with all our drinks when we arrived!!!). I even caught an early sunrise on the rooftop which was breathtaking.
We walked to the main beach a couple of times and brought along the umbrella and beach chairs which were super easy to carry. There was also a small soft sided cooler we back snacks and drinks in.
We ate out for most of our dinners but a few times we cooked lunch and grilled dinner. The kitchen had everything we needed.
The beds were very comfortable as were the pillows and bedding. I thought the Mexican art throughout the house was amazing.
We had plenty of hot water and the pool was perfectly warm! There were a few of us that had to work so when we had to do conference calls or meetings, we had ZERO issues with the WI-FI. In fact, we had music going on the main level, rooftop and tv’s streaming Netflix shows at the same time with no interruption.
We had a golf cart but didn’t need to use it much as we walked everywhere. The property manager, Frank, was very responsive even arranging our airport transfers, golf outing, and our grocery order which was delivered and stocked prior to our arrival! Well worth the $$$!!!!
We were worried about Covid-19 and traveling. We purchased Allianz travel insurance (highly recommend) to cover in case any unexpected changes occurred. We had absolutely no issues and no one in our group got sick whatsoever!! I can say I saw very few masks in town and most restaurants don’t require a temperature check any longer. Many restaurants and bars do have staff wearing masks. Bottom line – wear a mask to your comfort level. I also noticed hand sanitizer at most store and restaurant entry doors. I can say though we dined outside almost every time.
We already planned our trip back next year and hope for this to be our new place for our couple’s annual trip!!!! We are beyond grateful for all the staff that made our stay magical. See you next year!

We had a golf cart for the week which was another luxury. Everything is within walking distance and the food in Sayulita is fantastic. Also, be sure to get the black suburban airport transfer - there will likely be cold beers in a cooler to get you moving in the right direction.
Don’t think twice about this vacation rental. Book it if checks your boxes!
