Hi, I'm a Mexpat who grew up in Colorado and now lives in Sayulita with my husband and kids. We live a two blocks away from our vacation rental listing, Casa Colorado. I like mountains, beaches, sun, greenery, and big views. I've left a piece of my heart in every place I've ever been but these have the biggest pieces: Mexico, South Africa (where my mom is from), Ecuador (where I lived in my 20s), Colombia (for the aguardiente), Brazil (for the music), Nepal (for the trekking), India (where I was born and where I go for work often), Japan (for the shabu shabu), Spain (for the churros y chocolate) and the USA (where being a woman still isn't so bad)! I used to love to travel and trek around with no plans but now would rather stay put with my youngins in my free time now. I'm a product designer by training. I've been working remotely for a non-profit design consultancy, Catapult Design based in Denver, for the last 6 years. That has me on the road a bit. Before that, I lived in Johannesburg working for the African Leadership Academy, San Francisco for The North Face, and Portland for Nike. I went to University of Colorado Boulder for undergrad and Stanford University for grad school.
