Perfect spot for a Sayulita getaway 🏖️
We had such an amazing time at Casa Cascada!! It was the perfect location for us-nice and quiet but a quick walk to downtown and lots of food and drink options close by. And best of all, it’s a quick stroll through the condo (with access to 2 different pools) and you’re right at the beach! The place itself was really nice as well, including a recently remodeled kitchen and a large enclosed outdoor patio. We loved our time in Sayulita and would be thrilled to return to Casa Cascada someday 🌊

Amazing home & host
Our family (2 adults and 2 small children) spent just over 10 weeks at Las Cascadas (departing early March 2022). We were fortunate to have found this gem which more than suited our needs. Our children basically had the run of the large pool and hot tub and they are now proficient swimmers. We thoroughly enjoyed the location with close proximity to the main plaza, restaurants, cafes, and the main surf break. Everything was within walking distance so there was no need for a cart rental which was a big plus.

The accommodation itself was great. The kitchen was bright and great to work in and the views of the ocean were spectacular - even more so from the rooftop. There was some noise of course from the main plaza at night, however, we were not affected as the glass sliding doors and hum of the AC units drowned most of it out.

The owner Gary was incredibly accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. He was very responsive to any of our needs and we will not hesitate to seek out renting from him again.

Wonderful vacation!
My husband and I spent a wonderful week at Casa Cascada with our 18-year-old daughter and 2 of her girlfriends. The layout was perfect - they shared the 2 bedrooms with the adjoining bath and we had the master suite. It's true that the early morning noise from the school across the street wakes you up, but the girls never complained! The villa makes up for it with a very large, private outdoor seating area where we hung out in the evenings, and a beautiful front seating area that overlooks the pool to enjoy morning coffee. The pools were never crowded and guests were very respectful. We met some great people while enjoying sunset cocktails in the common area overlooking the beach.
The beach and town are very safe. The girls did their own thing during the day and we all went out for dinner together at night. The town vibe is great! The beach is great - the best seafood we had was from the vendors on the beach right out front of our villa! Lots of vendors selling a variety of local crafts but they are generally not too pushy. Great bargains to be had.
The villa has 5-gallon water jugs to wash fruit, make coffee, brush teeth, and was restocked as needed. Daily maid service was great since there wasn't a dishwasher (although we ate most meals out). The manager is onsite from 10 am - 1 pm daily if you need anything. We didn't see security guards at night, they may have been around but we didn't notice. We were very careful to keep our doors locked and all valuable in the safe and had no problems at all.
We are already planning our next trip!

Great location!
We loved the location and the place was spacious and comfortable. The necessary “safe” for locking up valuables was duck taped together. Our things were stuck inside (money, passports). The wifi didn’t work well.

Great home! Very convenient to all amenities and beach
We had a wonderful time. The condo is very spacious with so much wonderful outdoor patio space. Pool is literally a stones throw from unit and beach is only a 2 minute walk which was the best part. Easy to walk to town for groceries or restaurants and the maid (Tonya) was so sweet and always accommodating. Would definitely visit this location again. Gary the owner was so helpful with questions we had prior to arrival.

Very roomy and well kept
We were three couples. There was plenty of room inside and out without being under each other's feet. The unit is very well kept up with attention to small details. The maintenance people were fabulous. I have stayed in the property next door, which was a lot more money and the maintenance people didn't want to be bothered, so this was a wonderful change.

Pretty good!
Thanks Garry for the rental of your property...we had a really nice time! We were a party of 6 adults and 2 young children.

The positives were many - Tanya the daily cleaner was amazing and very sweet! The bedrooms and living space were fine. The private back outdoor area was great, and the front outdoor area was nice and convenient. We used them a lot. We met some really nice people staying in the place next to us (crash cart Linda!!), and that always makes a vacation better!

The folks maintaining the property are nice and helpful as well. The only thing not ideal in the condo was the kitchen...it is in need of updating, it functions but is quite warn. The pool and grounds are also somewhat tired and overgrown...having said that we did see that some cutting back was happening while we were there.

The school and street noise others had mentioned, we did not find to be a big issue at all...its just normal everyday sounds. Overall we had a really nice time and enjoyed Sayulita!

Some of our group swam in the ocean on the north beach and it was ok - you have to be a decent swimmer to body surf but it was do-able and lots of people were in the water.

We only used bottled water - to brush teeth and drink and cook with (which is readily provided by the complex so that is very convenient and nice)...used tap water to shower and wash hands only.

We did rent a golf cart which was handy especially with the kids and for getting groceries etc. but you can also easily walk to town with no big hills because you are at beach level.

The one minute walk to the beach from the condo is no problem and the beach chairs and umbrella are great - other than a few of the chairs needed replacing as they were understandably well used!

Pizza Venezia is awesome and a must have more than once! Mary's Taco's is amazing and a must! La Rustica was also very good! And the ice cream place next to Pizza Venezia was a must stop in every night!

All in all, a great trip - thanks Sayulita - its friendly, fun, nice beaches, and places to eat etc! And thanks Garry!

A great place to stay in Sayulita
As far as vacation rental owners, Garry is one of the most personable we have dealt with. The staff at Los Delfines are very accommodating as well. The daily maid keeps Casa Cascada very clean & tidy. We had three couples and this worked almost perfectly for us. I hadn’t read the description close enough & didn’t realize that the third bedroom had three single beds (our mistake!) I thought it was one double & the bunk beds, but we were still very comfortable. There is some street noise in the morning, but we would definitely recommend staying here & loved our visit!! Who wouldn’t, the beach is literally less than a minute away & is super nice!

Decent place but very expensive for the quality.
Great location and decent set up but the house was very expensive for what you get. I was underwhelmed.

great place to relax and enjoy a real vacation
We loved Casa Cascada! It was spacious, clean and a great place to rest and relax and enjoy the vacation we needed. The air-conditioned bedrooms were perfect for sleeping, but during the day the fans and a breeze provide for comfortable temps even in June.

The home is exactly as described and yes! the "tamale lady" comes every evening and the tamales are GREAT and Beatrice's muffins, offered in the morns, are wonderful as well. Garry was very helpful in helping us prepare for the trip. He was readily available as were the property managers (from whom we needed nothing!).

The home is just a short walk (like 5 minutes if walking slowly) from downtown (we never used a golf cart) which we liked as the downtown area was "pretty hopping"! However, there are several great places to eat within a 1 minute walk from the house. Tropical House and the Pizzeria should not be missed. I also want to mention that the home is only about a 5- 10minute walk from great hiking / mountain biking trails. DON'T MISS THE HIKE TO SAN PANCHO!

I think the only thing to be aware of is that the home is near the elementary school and school starts at 8am. Some mornings it was a bit loud with music playing in the school yard for kid's PE classes. This didn't bother us as we aren't super late sleepers, but it is fair to note it.

We would return to this home in a heartbeat and contemplated not leaving at all!!!

It's a great home, in a great location in a cool town!
