Casitas Ketzal and Kanelo in Sayulita are fantastic vacation rentals located in the beachfront complex Villas Del Palmar. Casa Kanelo is a three-unit home and boasts a spacious patio, outdoor seating and dining area surrounded by tropical plants, 3 fully equipped kitchens, which allows the house to be rented entirely or 3rd floor with one bedroom, second floor with two bedrooms and 1st floor with 2 bedrooms options. Located just steps from the quiet North-end beach and beach side pool located within the Villas Del Palmar complex. Downtown Sayulita is a short walk where you will find shopping, activities, restaurants and the town square. Casa Canelo affords easy access to all the excitement and action of Sayulita while being far enough away to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep and tranquil surroundings. Casa Canelo sits in a beachfront complex with other homes which share the pool and common beach front area.
Casita Canelo at Casa Canelo is on the first floor and features 2 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms, Fully equipped kitchens and living roooms. A/C, fans, This casita is perfect for families and can sleep 4-5 people.

Two notes for my fellow travelers:
1) Like other places you do have to use a wire transfer to reserve it which is not comfortable for us credit card-carrying North Americans. But if you can get past that mental hurdle, the value is well worth it.
2) Like many places in Sayulita, the P-trap has not been used in the plumbing so odorous gasses come up the pipes. As long as you keep the cover over the shower drain and keep the bathroom door shut, you'll be OK. You can also get some copal incense in town to help.
The A/C worked like a charm but we didn't need it--the ceiling fan kept us plenty cool at night. The concrete construction kept the place cool even during the hottest hours of the day.
